Gwadahunter posted an idea about Taprams a while ago but it was in french: https://www.deviantart.com/gwadahunter2222/art/Taprams-710128323
I went and translated it, as well as tweak some little things but mostly on the form.
Taprams are demons residing in the same realm as Mexolimes :
Taprams are a race of giant humanoid demons from the infernal kingdom of Tival-makhos. They measure up to 80 feet and are recognizable by the pale complexion of their skin and their atrophied wings.
Their body is soft and very elastic as if they had no skeletons. They are inhumanly flexible and possess great ability for contortions. They can compress their bodies to fit openings that are much smaller than themselves. Male Taprams are tall and with long limbs, while females are typically shorter but much plumper.
Taprams can't fly, instead they possess the innate ability to manipulate their own personal gravity and that of their surroundings. Their small wings can be used to glide for a very short time before the Tapram drop on the ground like a rock or like a feather. By controlling gravity, they can make themselves light enough to walk on water or mimic the spectacular leaps of a Mexolimes.
They can emit a gravity field around them to attract and carry heavy objects. Inside the field, objects float and orbitate slowly around the Tapram, who can then can then compact them or use them as projectiles. Their most impressive feat is to distort the space to create tiny wormholes to silently travel from one point to another within the limit of their field of vision.
If succubi represent lust, then Taprams are the embodiment of laziness. These demons move slowly and have an aversion to physical exertion to the point that they prefer to let themselves be hit by an enemy rather than trying to dodge blows or trying to fight back. They don't mind serving as punching balls as the elasticity and nature of their bodies make them very resistant and nearly invulnerable to concussions, impacts and traumas.
This is very convenient for Taprams, even outside of combat, as they also prefer to let themselves crash to the ground with abandon rather than landing softly.
Despite that soft and lazy appearance, Taprams are far from being harmless to beings of their size. They are cunning and deceptive creatures with many tricks up their sleeves. Enduring blows is part of their strategy as any physical contact with them allow the Tapram to drain a small portion of the vital energy of their attackers. Getting hit actually allow them to heal themselves, to steal memories or increase their endurance, while the opposite is true for the attacker. The more you try to hit a Tapram, the weaker and more vulnerable you become.
Taprams use their brain instead of their muscles and they are often as clever as they are lazy, although their ambitions are typically very low. For most of them, their only goal in life is to find a comfortable situation and live an existence of plenty without doing any efforts and avoiding unnecessary conflicts. Their modus operandi is to integrate a group of demons and gain the confidence of its members and then gradually influence them.
They pretend to be weak, slow and clumsy in order to look harmless but as soon as their target lowers their guard, they would discreetly absorb its vital force via "accidental" contacts, weakening it slightly both physically and mentally each time. Once their victim is weak enough, the Tapram can start leaving instructions and suggestions in their subconscious mind, slowly programming them to achieve specific objectives under certain circumstance, seemingly of their own free will.
This process is slow to put in place, requiring repeated contacts over a long period of time but it makes the grasp of a Tapram extremely subtle and almost imperceptible. In most case their victim will continue to live their daily lives as if nothing had happened. After repeating that process ,The Tapram can progressively find themselves at the head of a large network that works for the Tapram without even realizing. Many mortals ends up in Hell corrupted by one of these demons who exploited their laziness. When a mortal is faced with a Tapram, the demon would gently probe or flick their small victims around until they're too weak to resist or fight whatever fate the Tapram has in store for them. Tapram females are known to convince their prey to make the last effort to enter their gaping mouths by themselves.
Taprams and Mexolimes can sometimes forms unlikely partnership, despite their diametrically opposite natures. The tandem of strength and intelligence can be deadly although Mexolimes seem to love to brutalize Taprams for stress relief, while the Tapram find their energy to be a tasty one and are happy to cool their combative spirit down a notch.
I like the idea. I think it's an original species of demons with some unique traits and insidiously dangerous. Personally i would perhaps tone down a bit their control over gravity in order to focus more on their elasticity, body properties and saping powers. Please don't hesitate to share your opinions
