Emerald Maze
The Emerald Maze is a location at the north-western edge of the Green hell. It is a series of large cliffs with smaller floating masses of dirt and rock. This is because of the significant amount of Eidoron in the area. However, it wasn't until a battle between Correctors and Guardians did the landscape "break apart". Trees now grow on every level, from the forest floor, up to the top of the cliffs and every layer in between. The large chunks of earth also frequently have trees growing from them as well, and they float at many different elevations. Tree branches connect cliff edges, the floating rocks, other trees, and the tops of the cliffs. Paths get very confusing, and dimensional energies, combined with frequent dimensional storm activity actually alters gravitational pull, resulting in the ability to walk along many of the cliff faces as if it were normal land.
A portion of the Jewel River runs straight through this region, too, which causes large water falls branching off, and running through the region before it reconnects with the main river. Giant Elves and Dryads inhabit this land in greater numbers There are some ruins in the area that date back to the old Elven Empire, and the giant elves maintain some of the culture, including various holidays, celebrations, and stories which are inscribed around the region, depicting giant elven heroes - often used as waypoints and landmarks for easier navigation.
