How about . . . creatures, feral or intelligent, that actually preys on giants? Not swallow them, I mean, rip, tear, and devour. From the outside from the insides.
Let me try to give some examples/my ideas:
1. Viridian Locusts : 120 cm sized creatures. They're very powerful and intelligent. They look like emerald-colored locusts with four glowing cyan eyes. They have claws for their forelimbs. In today's standards, they're nigh invincible. They can shrug off lava, casually rip a tank apart, and fly at Mach 10. They can absorb magic, rendering magic based attacks useless against them. And they can analyze your tactics, spot traps, make a strategy, and solve a puzzle. They have a joint mind to each other. They're rare, but if you do find one, expect a swarm accompanying it. Also, do not expect to domesticate/control a Viridian Locust.
They have a taste for giants, due to the giants being naturally powerful. They're neutral to non-giants, but do not expect to try attacking a lone Viridian Locust and coming out alive. They attack giants by massive swarms, desiring to rip, tear, and finally devour the giant.
2. Pseudothyma : Fake victims. Intelligent shapeshifting insectoids that disguise as humans to be ingested by a giant and eating it from the insides. Their true forms look like 3 meters tall, dark grey, and smooth Tyranid hive tyrants. They're much more intelligent than humans and able to understand other creatures. They're expert tacticians and trappers. They're very powerful, able to match with multiple Viridian locusts at once. They're immune to magic, and can dispel the magics of others.
3. Sapperworm : They are grey worms with a lamprey mouth. Their adult form can reach up a diameter of 5 meters and a length of 40 meters. They're powerful, and has basic intelligence. They're immune to magic. They can create a liquid disables magic in an entity. An adult usually lays it's seeds to an animal or a creature. The seed will start to blend in with the creature's flesh, making it invisible. After the creature is eaten by a human, the dormant seed will move to the human.
If a giant eats a seeded creature/human, The seed will awake and devour it's host. The youngling will start to bury itself to the giant's bowels. They will slowly devour and grow inside the giant. Until finally, the giant dies and the Sapperworm rips out from the giant's insides, continuing the cycle.
How do you guys think about this concept? Has it been done already?
