GAME: You know you're obsessed with *title or thing* if...

As the title states, in this game, we will name something people can obsess over and give one or more characteristics that would let you know you're obsessed. I'll start with something I recently got into, Death Note.

You know you're obsessed with Death Note if...

1. When someone pisses you off you write their name in a notebook, wait fourty seconds, and then wonder why that person hasn't died of a heart attack.

2. When you're sitting at your desk at school, work, or home, you're sitting there and doing things "L style". You've even got the eyes to go along with it.

3. You claim you have a Shinnigami that only you can see because you touched a Death Note, but it's only a Ryuk plushie (which is adorable ^^) that everyone can see.

You are obsessed with Team Fortress 2 if...

1# You go around poking everyone in the back with a pocketknife to make sure they're on your side.

2# Whenever an appliance breaks you scream "SPY'S SAPPIN MAH FRIDGE/WASHER/PHONE" (I am guilty of this)

3# You tried to fix an appliance by hitting it repeatedly with a wrench. (Also guilty)

Here's one I just made up:

You know you're obsessed with my fics if...

1. When you go to a con with a Blood+ cosplay group, you cosplay as Michael Myers.

2. When you lose in a Metroid/Castlevania/Sonic game, you wonder if Crisis will be mad at you.

3. When you do something wrong, you blame your dark spirit guide inside you.

RE: you know when you're obsessed with team fortress 2 when...

1. you carry a toolbox everywhere, just in case.....

2. you get pissed off because your doctor can't give you an ubercharge.

3.you freak out over a laser light

4. you avoid construction sites for fear of the turrets that they obviously set up to keep you out.

5.you go through medschool,simply yo befriend a large Russian with a gun fetish

Team Fortress 2 continued:

#1 You believe that a card-board cut-out of someones head on a flat white mask will convince people you're someone else

#2 You're a baseball player who attempts to double jump over the catchers head

#3 Instead of a 'secret password' to get into your clubhouse, you simply spray fire on anyone attempting to get in - after all, if they're a friend, they won't catch fire.

#4 You will Only play guitar with several automated turrets guarding you

#5 In order to win an arguement with someone smarter than you, you shoot them.

You know you're obsessed with Felarya if:

1. You refuse to even consider walking into a forest.

2. You make sure to always carry a radio with you wherever you go.

3. You run up to random smokers and knock the cigarettes out of their hands, screaming, "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US KILLED?!!!"

4. You do a lookup on Karbo's ip address, find out his phone number, and call him at all hours of the day and night to tell him how great he is.

5. You make sure to only hang out with friends who you can outrun.

6. When you hear about shark attacks on the news you think to yourself, "Pfft. That's nothing, try going up against Anko!"

7. You keep a precise count of the number of trees around your house and check it daily to make sure no Dryads have sneaked in over night.

1. You glance up outside to make sure harpies aren't overhead.

2. Looming shadows cause you to walk twice as fast.

3. You twitch slightly at the word "crisis", no matter the context.

4. Make the remark under your breath that "'so-and-so' wouldn't last a minute in Fel-..."

5. Rate animals by the Felarya wildlife danger chart.

6. You plan where Karbo's prints will go on your wall, and at the same time try to come up with excuses for each of them.

7. "WWKD?"

I think there were several threads for this specific thing. Meh.

You know you're obsessed with Warhammer 40,000 when:

1) You start chanting "'Ere we go, 'ere we go, 'ere we go," during car rides.

2) You use phrases such as "By the Emperor" and "Holy Throne" instead of "In God's / Science's Name" and "Holy Shit".

3) You hold all other Firearms to the standards of a Bolter.

4) You wonder if your appliances have Machine Spirits and / or are Daemonically Possessed.

Re: Warhammer 40,000

#1 If you accuse all weak political figures of being corpses.

#2 If you laugh whenever you see a flashlight.

#3 If you will Only drive a Red car.

#4 If you deliberately let yourself become so ill that your skin gets mouldy, because after all, GREEN IS BEST!

1. You kill someone in hopes that Lucien Lachance will visit you while you sleep.

2. You go around touching paintings to see if you'll be sucked into one.

3. You bring offerings to statues in hopes of recieving a Daedric Quest.

4. When you are caught and charged with murder, you resist arrest. Hey, you have god mode on, right?

You Know You're Obsessed With Dune If:
-Your username on almost every site contains a slight spelling variation of the name "Atreides".
-Your character's main abilities are based off of prana-bindu and Mentat skills.

You Know You're Obsessed With Starcraft If:
-Every time someone says "rush", you twitch and scream "FROM WHAT DIRECTION?!?"
-When you meet a good friend, you greet them with "En Taro Adun".
-You go on YouTube, listen to background music, and respond to a pro-UED comment with "The Terrans deserve independence from the oppressive regime of the UED, and the Confederacy, and from that liar Mengsk! We of the Raiders will continue to fight for Terran freedom and spirit, no matter who opposes us! We fight an outnumbered battle, but freedom will win over dystopia!"

I have done ALL these things... that last part is an exact copy-and-paste of my response.

Uh oh. I've been found out!

You know you post too much when there's an angry mob at your door, just waiting to rip your keyboard out.

You know you post too much when you... uh... type a post about... uh... not being able to think up a reason why one might post too much! Yeah!

But that can't apply to me, because I found a reason. The reason was: there was no reason. ENJOY THE PARADOX, SUCKAS!

Also, you know you're obsessed with the word "sucka" when you add it to everything, including sentiments about paradoxes.

You know you're geeky when you can actually post a sentiment about paradoxes, then add "sucka", and not feel like an idiot, because it's normal behavior for you. Sucka.

1) You're familiar with many of the fan identifications (Warsie, Trekkie, 40Ker, Brown Coats, etc).
2) You like to quantify weapons and other objects in your spare time (Be it in the form of energy yields, force, stats in other games, etc).
3) You'll make comprehensive lists of equipment in certain realms.
4) You LIKE Vs. Debates.

People are strange
