| On the internet, there are some pretty awesome things. Things that show how much one can accomplsh when one is bored.
Personally, though, I'd like to point out several that really are impressive to me.
Fo example, there are three flash animations that truly deserve some light.
The popular "Super Mario Brothers Z" series: http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/supermariobrosz.html
The not so popular "Sonic's Quest for Power" saga: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/137068 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/177086 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/262140 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/265713 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/295575 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/296131
And, finally, the "Sonic: Nazo Unleashed" trilogy: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/331288 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/333858 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/396530
What online has made you applaud from excllence, be it a flash toon, funny short, or anything else you can think of?
P.S. I apologize for the overabundance of Sonic here. I'm not a big fan, but you must admit that these flashes are well made. Also, I thought of bringing this up because I read a fic where Mario and Sonic travel to Felarya, so it kinda seemed appropriate.

| I myself find the Dad's Home series to be a decent one.
Along with the sequel, Dad's at Work

| I've got afew I'd like to mention...
Kirb's Warpstar(Partly NSFW) - http://www.tta.fireball20xl.com There's actually 2 serieses here right now. The first one is the front paged series, "Go Go Parody Rangers" a parody of the Power Rangers series (Mighty Morhpin more importantly and a little bit of "In Space".) Kirb was even able to get some actuall pro voice actors to perform roles like Kyle Hebert (Teen Gohan, Kiba, DBZ Narrator), and Mike Pollock (Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik). That aside it's a nice parody that will keep you laughing even with some of the inside jokes they throw in.
The other is the older of the two is TvTome Adventures, otherwise known as TTA. The earlier works aren't as great since they were made years ago, but the later ones are fantastic! Kirb has decided not to do the fourth and final season with a heavy heart since college would be demanding, also he wants to focus more of his time on other projects.
There's another movie he's working on called "Nin10doh!"
Bonus Stage - http://www.bonusstages.com The madcap adventures of Joel Dawson and Phil Argus. Wild character animations, video game refferences, a big fat guy, a cynical robot? what more could you ask for? ...Nothing really since Matt Wilson, the creator stopped production abruptly and went off to work on other stuff, and he was never heard from again...
Tomorrow's Nobodies(NSFW) - http://www.tomorrowsnobody.com Dave, Eric, Chase and Chris and their odd misadventures, there was some other guy named ben, but he left.
Wonchop - http://www.wonchopanimation.com/ Once marked as a theif over something long ago by some flash artists, Wonchop really cleaned up his act and has churned out some top notch animations.
This is just a single film, but it's still got it's moments...
Smash Kingdom(NSFW) - http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/413257 Just a nice little parody flash to gear up for Smash Brothers Brawl. (Sorry about the late June-ish release date, my European brothers and sisters)

Well, that's okay. It does make it easier, seperating toons from games. Excellent idea on making the "Flash games forum".

| I've seen my fair share of them...but one sticks out for me. TANKMEN! By the one and only JohnnyUtah Premise: In the year 20XX, the world has ended. Random factions of soldiers remain, fighting for...well, I don't know. THEY don't even know. Enjoy. TANKMEN-The original flash that started it all, we meet the Captain and Private Steve, "The Guys". TANKMEN 1.5-The little treat before the real sequel, a father delivers the "birds and bees" speech to his grown son, Private Skittles, a sniper for "the other guys". TANKMEN 2-We return to The Captain and Prvt. Steve, who find themselves doing battle with a bunch of sports louts. These flash movies are in English, just fair warning. | |
