Honestly, as much as I'd like to believe we could change our government's ways by growing beards, wearing tye-die and holding up cardboard signs, when a government goes socialist/communist/whatever we end up turning into, they're less concerned about heeding their peoples' words, and more concerned about "Quelling the rebellion." In other words, I get the feeling that as soon as our government wants to go too far, things are going to get really ugly, really fast.

Many people ask why doesnt the United States seem to be mentioned in the Book of Revelation. It could be that they are looking for the answers in the wrong place. Just what if the identity of Mystery Babylon is actually the United States? Isaiah speaks of Mystery Babylon as being "the daughter of ancient Babylon"

Now the scripture describes a great city/nation at the end times that rules over the earth. Today that would be New York City and the United States

"23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee" could that be reference to the torch of the Statue of Liberty?

The scripture also decribes Mystery Babylon as being a melting pot for people of all races, regions and background.

Some interesting facts:

The US government structure is based off of the government structure of ancient Babylon. Our statue of liberty has its roots from the Babylonian goddess of Ishtar which was the goddess of "personal freedom" Lady Liberty also represents freedom. As a matter of fact, the base of the statue of liberty is designed like an ancient Babylonian Ziggurat.

So, there you go...In my honest opinion, America is the Mystery Babylon that Revelations speaks of...and I believe salvation in Jesus is the only way out, even if one is faced with death. The soul is what matters. The physical body is only temporary.

It is through faith in God and trusting in His word, which says that Jesus will come back again and save us that repent (ask forgiveness for our sins and turn away from our sins) and believe in Him and His word. The four gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, speak of Christ's love for us. Revelations is indeed a frightening book, describing the time before Christ comes again.

This is not about being religious, this is not about misogymists, and this is not about an unnerving faith in the Bible. It is about God's love, which was so great that he died for us on the cross. I believe, and I am sharing this information with you all because God loves us, and He wants us to know it. That is why the Bible was written.

I wanted to point out that God's Word is truth, and the prophecies described are happening now. Others have asked about Christ and salvation after doing some research on their own. "Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 14:35
"It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

Psalms 39:8
"Deliver me from all my transgressions. Don't make me the reproach of the foolish."

Proverbs 29:9
"If a wise man goes to court with a foolish man, The fool rages or scoffs, and there is no peace."

Jeremiah 5:21
"Hear now this, foolish people, and without understanding; who have eyes, and don't see; who have ears, and don't hear:"

Matthew 7:26
"Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand."


Jesus says that those who hear God's Word and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man. A house built on the sand cannot endure. All that I can do is continue to spread the Word of God, and I must be humble about it. It says in the Bible:

Matthew 23:12
"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted"

Luke 14:11
"For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

Luke 18:14
"I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Romans 12:16
"Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits."

James 4:10
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. "

1 Peter 5:5
"Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

1 Peter 5:6
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; "


It is by God's grace that we are saved, and therefore grace and love and humility should be present in our speech always. All I can do is pray for all of us, and for the coming days. Lord, please give us peace, and show your love to the nations, that we all may fall down and worship you forever and ever. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for your perfect love. Thank you for all your creation, thank you, thank you. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
