| I have a theory about dimensions. My theory is that every time someone makes up a new/alternate world for any reason, that world becomes another dimension that is real to it's inhabitants(i.e., somewhere out there is an alternate earth, overrun by Audry IIs, or a dimension populated by retarded stick figures hell bent on suicide/homicide). So what if our dimension crossed with Felarya? Obviously, most of us would die, but what else? We'd have the chance to explore Felarya for real, which would, to a certain extent, be fun. Jackass that I am, I would probably try to find and befriend Crisis. Any other thoughts on what you would do? | |

| Alternate worlds means we also have a connection to Cthulhu.
Felarya embraces its new Tentacle Overfiends.

| I disagree with that theory, and here's why.
I hereby compose a dimension inhabited entirely by roaming pixies, who will visit me right now in this specific dimension and give me money.
..... I see no pixies. | |

..... I see no pixies. Kill joy... S you created a "dimension" of pixies. So what? That doesn't mean they're gonna come running from their dimension to ours. Besides, traveling to a different dimension would take a few billion years, as pre-stated by the book Crisis and Scarecrow. Plus, to do it of your own free will would take magic you didn't state was given to them, or technology to heavy and bulky to carry around by a dozen small creatures with no stable home. Besides, even if that did work and everyone went around combining dimensions based off one person's theory, we'd probably get wiped out by all sorts of deadly creatures.

It does if specifically designed to come to our dimension. Of course, he never did specify the size of the Pixies, the type of currency they'd bring, etc. GREG might have just doomed us all by having Galaxy-Sized fairies toss some Moon-Sized coins at us. - wrote:

In which case we never reach Felarya. - wrote:

To slightly modify my prior post: I welcome our Tentacle-Fiend overlords.

In which case we never reach Felarya.[/quote] That's true, in a sense. Remaining on the planet in this dimension, we would never see Felarya and our dimension combine of their own accord. However, to actually go to Felarya with the proper equipment on our own, it would only seem to us a few seconds/hours. But on a return trip, depending on the transports cause and technology, plus our survival rate, we would come back to what I presume would be a Jetsons-like earth. But the highest cause of that effect would be a "natural" tear in the dimensional fabric, not a man-made one.

| Our own dimensions, you say?
I don't think it's true. I can think of some veeeeeery perverted realities, and I'm sure they won't exist.
Unless, of course, the world of tentacle monsters and catwomen can reach into this world, that is.... Just simply make a dimension where they invent a time machine, travel back billions of years, and cross into our dimension by the present day.
No waiting whatsoever.

| I believe that if this theory were true, we would be doomed at hands of our imaginations, pleasurable or not, and humanity (and possibly the universe) would be wiped from existance. However I would like to believe my crazy fantisies could be real, and have a way of coming to earth. But like I said, most likely it would kill us all. | |

| We would not be doomed because someone could just imagine a universe filled with beings that would come save us at any necesarry moment. | |

| But here's the problem with that, some one some where is going to imagine evil beings that are capable of destroying said saviors. Even if they don't want to someone will. Its how the mind works, you've already imagined said evil things by reading this. | |

But we'd only be screwed if they decided to come to our dimension. It seems to me that what you are implying is based mostly on people's imaginations coming to life here on earth. p.s. Death Note 0wns.

BUT, I've already taken the liberty of imagining a race of invincible good-guys who'll save us at any turn, regardless of what opposes them. So HAH! See how it works? If it were true, we'd already be overrun with pixies and superheroes and supervillains...

See how it works? If it were true, we'd already be overrun with pixies and superheroes and supervillains... Why bother? You, of all people were skeptical of this theory from the get-go. Besides, in a contest of imagination, there is always a way to take down the invincible.

| All right, let's say I change my theory a bit. Instead of creating a nother world for ANY reason, let's say it's just for movies/TV/comics/whatever-reason-Karbo-had-for-creating-Felarya. How does this change your views, if at all? | |

See how it works? If it were true, we'd already be overrun with pixies and superheroes and supervillains... What if the heroes closed off the path to Earth forever, ensuring that the villains never make it here? Haha! Game over.
