The Megalodon's tooth (retake)

The neko Rose was a little further dwon the river walking along the edge she watched the water cautiously as she walked the last thing she wanted was something grabbing her as she was walking.ose smiled to herself as she was walking she slipped and fell into the river she saw fish swim past her and a few seconds later she broke the surface of the water gasping for air.

Hearing a splash, Baras turned around to see a neko gasping for air in the river. Without thinking, he immediately jumped into the river and helped bring her to the shore. Once they were both out of the water, Baras asked, "Are you okay?"

Michael heard the splash as well, and saw Baras jump into the river to save Rose. He watched as Baras brought her onto shore. "Can you please let me down, Y'lmeleh?" He asked her politely.

Rose coughed a litle when she arrived with baras upon the shore "yeah im fine"she says before looking nervously at the creatue wich held a second human in its grip

Watching the human that could heal interact with the newly arrived neko, the cecaelia looked at them hungrily. She wrapped a tentacle around the human in her hand then, her others creeping out towards Rose and Baras. Her tentacle coiled around Michael slowly lowered to the ground, where she dropped him. Y'lmeleh began to reach out to Study Baras and Rose.

Seeing that Rose was okay, he looked to see the giant girl squid hybrid eye him hungrily, and noted that she was reaching for him and Rose. Showing no sign of fear, Baras began to walk towards the towering cecaelia, hoping that she'd be more interested in him than the neko he rescued.

Michael noticed this, and his "will" lines formed all over his body once more as elecrticity formed in his hand. "Don't try anything, or else I'll make you Fried Calamari."

Rose screamed at the sight of the creature reaching out for baras and herself she got to her feet unable to move from fear she just stared wide eyed at the creature she trembled nervously while looking at it

Michael then had an idea. He quickly ran into the shallow water as he yelled to Baras and Rpse: "Get out of here, I'll distract her!" Quickly, Michael dove into deeper water, and swam as fast as he could against the waves. Diving undernaeth an oncoming wave, Michael shape shifted back into a Megalodon. Once finished, he sawm back toward shore, still staying in deep water, dove deep, then pumped his pectoral fin hard, and leaped out of the water in orderto get Y'lmeleh's attention, then crashed back intothe water with a large splash.

Y'lmeleh tried to understand why the human was obstructing her from Studying the others- did he have reservations to eat them himself later? She was about to go for them anyway when Michael ran back to the water behind her. Curious, she turned and followed. To her delight, the water's surface broke as the monstrous fish reared its fin again. Seeing the larger and much more filling target, the cecaelia turned back towards the shore, dragging herself along just as she had done coming out.

Slipping into the water, she sunk down beneath to give chase, propelled once again by her water-pumping jets.

Michael was now determined to get Y'lmeleh away from his new acquantinces, swimming faster than he had ever done before. He kept his dorsal fin out of the water, not worrying about slowing down since it was aero-dynamic. Michael hoped to the Fates that he would not be killed.

Y'lmeleh gave chase after the colossal shark, knowing that her patience to eat Michael had paid off, as he was once again the massive meal. Knowing that it could easily shear off one of her precious main tentacles, she tried a new tactic, making her skin pigment darker until it was nearly pitch-black.

Pumping her water jets, she was catching up, her pointed squid mantle facing forward, her humanoid half dragging behind. When she was close enough to the great shark, she did a spin, and switched her mantle to trail behind while her human half faced forward. She stayed a bit out of quick biting range, then combined the chemicals in her glands to produce a cloud of ink, which shrouded the shark as she spat it. She darted into the murky cloud, her pigmentation blending in with the broiling mass; she made to wrap her tentacles around the meg from the top, staying well away from its maw.

Michael did not need his sight while he was blinded by the loud of ink, since he had his other senses, especialy his Ampullae of Lorenzei. Feeling Y'lmeleh touch him, he quickly descended before she could get a good grip, and broke free. He then swam faster toward the murky depths, veering back toward the surface, hoping that Y'lmeleh was still there. He sensed her confusion and her quickened heart beats as he got closer and closer. Instead of biting her like he normaly would, Michael turned as he was close enough, and slapped her hard with his massive tail, hoping it would stun Y'lmeleh, and broke at a hard swim back to shore.

Rose watched in amazement as the human transformed into the shark he watched the chase below the water concerned "hmm maybe we should hel him out"she says leaving no time for baras to respond rose pulled out a knife and dived head first into the water she swam forward knife in hand she swam towards the shark that was heading in her direction she swam as fast s she could.

Michael sensed something hit the water, and soon saw Rose swimming toward him. Shit! He had no choice but to press his nose against her, and once near the shore, propelled out of the water ans Michael changed back, and they both landed in the sand. "What the hell were you thingking?!" Michael asked as he franticaly dragged rose as they both ran toward Baras.

Baras just shrugged as the two came ashore, saying, "Isn't it obvious? She wasn't thinking. Anyway, I think we should go ahead and get out here before Squid Woman comes back, don't you?"

Rose stood up "im gonna fight her"she yells running at full speed and diving head first into the water she swam towards the creature knife in hand and a menacing look on her face she looked like she was about to kill.

"What are doing?! Get back here, you moron!!" Baras yelled as Rosed went into the water. He groaned, and looked at Michael, saying, "Could you hang on a moment? I've got to get her back."

He then got into the water, and materialized what looked like an underwater glider with jets and missile projectiles attached to it. Putting on the oxygen facemask from the glider, he grabbed the handlebars and went into the water, determined to get Rose back.

Y'lmeleh had prepared for a frontal attack, but the shark's surprise maneuver threw her off guard, and she was stunned momentarily from the force of its tail swipe. Nevertheless, she swiped back at it with one of her primary tentacles, but it was already heading away from her rapidly. Giving chase back towards the shoreline, she noticed that one of the smaller creatures had entered the water as well, and guessed that the Meg must have just been saving Rose to eat later after all.

As the great shark's form shrank and left the water once again as the human Michael, she veered off, back into the deep.

Michael shook his head in astonishment. "By the Fates....What is going on?" Michael paced back and forth, worrying about what was happening under the water's surface.

As soon as she reached Rose, he dematerialized the underwater vehicle, and grabbed a hold of Rose as he teleported onto the ground with her. "Just forget about the squid woman, okay? I swear, you're going to get yourself killed one of these days."

Michael sighed to himself, and wondered if it was worth it to try to swim in the water again. "Ah, the hell with it." He simply said. soon leaping into the water. Once he swam out to water deep enough, he morphed into his Megalodon form, and swam further out.
