Race: Dridder (duh)
Size: Range from 6 inches to 1.5 Feet Tall
Appearance: Have an orb like abdomen that is white with a brown diamond like pattern. Often tanned bodies and athletic builds. Their 8 legs are a shade of brown with yellow marking near where each segment is.


Anelo Dridders are a social species of Dridder that live in colonies with members of their own kind to survive. Being small in size, a single Anelo wouldn’t be able to survive for very long on its own in Felarya. To overcome this, the Anelo Dridders live in massive colonies, ranging to the thousands, that live in the canopies of the forest. They use their webbing to create structures in the canopy such as walkways, small building as well as traps.
The Anelo are a very social race of Dridder, they rely on each other to survive. So each Anelo try their best to help one another in their everyday lives, such as helping each other gather food, raising the injured as well as building their colony. They also help protect each other from predators. When a predator attacks a single or multiple Anelos, they let out a sent that tells tall of their brother and sisters that there is danger and help is needed. Anelos are decent spell casters, but due to their small size they aren’t capable of fending off a predator on their own. Though due to their massive numbers, they can easily swarm a predator with magic, combining them into one massive magical attack. Due to this, predators seem to try to avoid confronting large Anelo colonies. Smaller colonies are easier targets for predators such as Mantoids and Harpies, but Mantoids seem to try to ignore them since they feel that it’s too much effort to get a “Small meal”.
Anelos mostly feed on small birds that get caught in their traps, as well as any other creatures that are unlucky enough to get caught in the sticky webs that make up the colonies’ structure. They try to avoid actual hunting, but if needed, they will dispatch in small armies to catch creature such as Duikers, Glouteuxs as well as other creatures. Once caught, they will share the catch with the rest of the colony. The way they do so, though, remains somewhat of a mystery. People believe that they have established a form of government, though exactly how this government is structured remains a mystery.
Due to their passive nature towards other hybrids as well as humans, they don’t actively pose a real threat. In fact, humans as well as other humanoids use them as a source of Information, due to the fact that the colonies are far spread and transfer information from one another fairly quickly. There are some cases where even Tinies live amongst them such as Neeras and Tomthumbs.
The Anelo are famous for their knowledge on architecture. They use their webbings to create complicated structures that support the weight of the entire colony, as well as take minimal damage from natural occurrences predator attacks. Some Anelo have actually given advice to humans on how to build safe structure that can hold a lot of people, some people believe they taken part on some of the architectural development in some of the buildings in Negav. Also it is rumored that they helped with the building of Ur-Sagol, but that has not been comfirmed.
Small Colonies don’t often last very long due to the constant attack of predators, so when encountering the Anelo, most often you will find a massive colony. These Colonies sometimes reach for miles, completely covering the canopy with complex webbing walkways and buildings.
East of Misty Glades, North of the Kjol Cliffs is the great Anelo Colony. This is the largest colony of Anelo that has been comfirmed so far. The colony ranges from the river all the way to the southwestern foot of the Ascarlin Mountains. Populated with a myriad of Anelo Dridders, the colony is believed to have been around for hundreds of years and a great source of Information and trade among local villages, and sometimes Negav.
