Better Roomie 4- Vivian or Malika?

Um.... yeah... Just to clear up a few things, we're looking for desirable traits BESIDES their sexual tendencies. You know, what makes you find them appealing as a PERSON? This isn't "Who would you rather f&%$?", it's "Who would you be more willing to share space with?". =)

We're also going to assume, in this case, that both subjects are... roughly human sized, though, you can imagine them being however big you want.

Vivian is something of a sagely soul... not "old", but she has a wealth of knowledge collected from visitors over centuries, and could possibly never run out of interesting things to have a conversation about. You will rarely, if ever, run out of things to talk about with her. If she settles into a place and gets comfortable enough, she may not feel like going out and being very active, not out of laziness, but out of habit... So, going to the movies or whatever (aside from the issue of... well, half human alien thingies) may take a bit of a push. She may be open to such things, considering she does have something of a curious nature... but she may not be AS outgoing as Malika. She more or less may be better for people who spend more time chillin' at their crib more often than partying elsewhere.

Malika, on the other hand, may not be as good a speaker, more of a listener. She's seemingly very open to trying out new things. She's probably the kind of person you could play any game, watch any flick, read any book, take anywhere and do anything with without her losing interest. She's also surprisingly (if not unusually) softhearted, often letting the people she catches GO for various reasons. A good 2 of 5 people on average (almost half) manage to appeal to her in various ways and get out alive. Not to say escaping her is downright easy, but it's still a lot easier than with most giant predators. Though that wouldn't affect much in a situation in which you didn't have to worry about such things to begin with, her exceedingly compassionate side may shine in other, smaller ways.

Both may make wonderful roommates and/or possible partners. Though they share similarities, both being pretty easy going and having a huge capacity for learning new things and retaining such knowledge, and both can be very kind, Vivian is a bit more passive while Mailka is more energetic and outgoing, which is also reflected in her being more prone to showing compassion.

So, if you needed to live with either one indefinitely, who would it be?

That's me, really. I'm not sure Vivian has that much understanding of the concept of "private space"... but Malika certainly doesn't! And because Vivian would be a fascinating person to talk to when she's in the mood for more serious conversation, I'm going to have to say Vivian. (Sorry, Malika. You're gorgeous too, though. )

I'd have to say Vivian if only because she probably throws a wicked party.

Oh NO WAY I'd picture these two at an equal size to me. It's not the vore that keeps me coming back to Felarya...it's the macro. ;P

But I'll go with the general consensus and say I'd rather chill at Chordoni Falls with Vivian...assuming I'm off the menu, naturally. Aside from her more obvious assets, Vivian's intellect, depth of knowledge and subtle mischieviousness would make it a blast to live with her.

It's a tough decision. I'd probably go for a dice roll in the end. Though even at human Height I get the feeling Malika would still be trying to eat me. I think I'd get along with Malika better than Vivian, since I'm a really outgoing person myself. I can definitely see hours of chatter from both ends with me and her being room mates.

However, Vivian has more sex appeal and is less likely to eat me at human height than Malika I think, and even though she has most of the same personality - lacking the outgoing factor, its one less thing to deal with. However I'd still probably go for Malika. Sex appeal/horniness isn't really a factor here for me, since outside the 'having fun' there'd be lots of other normal things going on.

There's a lot to take into account when choosing a room mate, and I'm sure with Malika I'd be more prone to getting off my @$$ and helping her out with what needs to be done...

(makes me wonder about a thread involving your classroom at college, or professional workplace consisting of human sized felaryan creatures. imagine: what if your neighbor was a harpy?)

Abiding by Nick's wish to look for desirable traits BESIDES their sexual tendencies, I must say Vivian. She's lived a long time and has a vast wealth of knowledge and must be an interesting person to talk to. She also seems less self focused than Malika from what I know.

abiding by nicks wish i woud choose Malika because shes very out going and energentic but also at human size she would a great person to listen and follow all my crazy ideas weather they be hand fishing cat fish, or straping a rocket engein to a chevy to even joust with tanks( I know a few people who let me do these things)

Lawl, and people tell me my ideas are crazy. Although mine usually work, albeit through risk of injury. Oh well, what's the worst that could happen: I cripple myself? Been there, done that.

I'd have to say Vivian, but only because the discussions would probably be quite compelling.
