Managing Hard Drive Space Empty
PostSubject: Managing Hard Drive Space   Managing Hard Drive Space Icon_minitimeSat Jan 03, 2015 3:06 pm

I'm having this issue, where I've used up 400 GB of space out of the 930GB available. I've used WinDirStat, and CCleaner to try and manage whats taking up the most space. I managed to account four 130 GB or so of content, but I don't know where the other 300 GB went...anyone have any clues, or are good with computers and can help?

Deleting your porn files* should clean up about 200 GB. the other 100 might be system data and stuff. Yes, windows itself takes up space as well. and not little.

Do you open your computer for filesharing? Maybe others deposit data on your PC as well. I once had a program that displayed program files using up computer data in a graphical way, you might use that to analyze your hard drive. I will see if I can find that again.

Okay that freed up literally 200 GB of space on my computer. I left 100 GB of space for system restore. There's still a few GB I'm confused about where they're going, but its a lot better now. Why does system restore take up so much space? XD
