Brent smirked and laughed to himself. Heh heh heh heh heh!!! Their faces were PRICELESS!! Well, guess it's time to hit the sack. he thought, and he closed his eyes and clocked out, but not before making sure Mica was asleep and taping a piece of paper to her hand that said, "You should've seen your faces! They were PRICELESS!!!"

The next morning he woke up and saw Spencer and Mica were still asleep and cuddling up together. Awww, isn't that cute? he thought. Hmm...why don't I take a picture? It'll last longer. Now, Brent didn't have a camera on him, but he did, on the other hand, have a webcam on his laptop. With that being said, he pulled out his laptop, turned it on, pointed the webcam, and took the picture.

Man, I can only imagine what her reaction would be if she saw this. he thought, snickering to himself. He began to notice somehting very peculiar about his laptop. The battery meter hadn't changed at all since the last time he used it (which was in his own world). In fact, according to the laptop, it was "fully charged." Huh. That's weird. he thought, but he just shrugged and started watching videos. Oh, well. More power to me.

"Shut-UP!" Spenser was wide awake now.

"Can someone shoot those damn things?!"
At that moment Spenser realized that Mia had been curled up next to him for the whole night. He slowly tried to get up without disturbing her, and saw Brent fiddling with his laptop.
"So, what have you been doing while we were asleep?

"Nothing much, really. Listening to some music, watching some videos, taking a picture of you two snuggling...stuff like that." Brent said as he continued to click around. "Oh, yeah. Sorry for creeping you two out last night. Your faces were hilarious, though." he said with a smirk.

The Joker wrote:

"Hmm?" Brent heard something outside. He poked his head out and saw a guy with a baseball cap outside. "HEY!!!" he whisper shouted. "What the crap are you doing in broad daylight?!?! Get in here!!! QUICK!!!"

Brent then noticed the stirring neko. "...and heeeeere weeee...go."

Daniel had been awake and alert the entire time. "I can't believe I drank that Vault before I came here." he said to himself.

Brent pops his head out and sees the same guy from yesterday.

"Hey, dude! It's not safe out there! Come on in here, there's plenty of room!"

"Whatever you say." Daniel muttered as he walked in.

"So he's coming in?" Spenser asked.
"I suppose this means I can't poke him with a stick?"

"No. No you can't."

"Aww, I was looking forward to it. So, how did you get here?" He said pointing to Dan.

"A sudden Flux portal appearance is what sent me here." Daniel replied, "By the way, the name's Daniel. But just call me Dan."

"Name's Brent. Nice to meet ya!"

"Heya, I'm Spenser. Oh, and this is Mica." He said pointing to the sleeping neko, still curled up in the corner of the room.

"A neko." Daniel said, "Interesting."

"Indeed it is. Indeed it is."

"Yeah, we're trying to get her on our side, we don't know if we can completely trust her yet. She says that her group has some sort of deal with the bird-ladies...giving them any humans they find, in exchange for the bird-ladies not eating them instead. Now, I was her captive not too long ago, until Brent here caught her by surprise and knocked her out cold. We've been here ever since, hoping that a predator doesn't show up and swallow us whole."

"Oh, I don't think we have to worry about that. I have some clips from 'The Dark Knight' that have Heath Ledger's Joker on there. If I show these clips to them, they'll forget they have appetites. ...and yes, I'm being completely sarcastic."

"Yeah, predators would be scared stiff by comic books. Makes total sense." Spenser looked like he was trying to keep himself from laughing at the comment.

*Yawn*

"How long was I sleeping?" Asked Mica.

"Awhile. The guy that was standing outside, Dan, finally decided to come in. You haven't missed much."

"Alright." She scratched her head and sat up with everyone else.
"So, how'd he get here? Same as you two?"

"Yeah, just ported in at random. Seems to be happening a lot these days."

"Well, since no one's made a plan to get out of here, anyone what to watch a video?"

He then showed them a scene from 'The Dark Knight' with Heath Ledger's Joker.

"That was disturbing." Mica and Spenser said in unison.

"How did you guys get here?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah, I kinda figured that. Well, I guess since I freaked you guys out enough, I'll stop scaring the crap out of y'all with these videos. So, anyone have any...you know...skills to help us out?"

I do know hand-to-hand combat, plus I can make some simple weapons." Daniel said, "I also brought along something my dad gave to me." He held up a bayonet. "It was something my grandfather found back in World War 2."

"Sweet." Brent said as he closed the laptop, probably to the relief of Spencer and Mica. "...but where are we gonna go? I mean, do you know of any dimensional gates around here? Hmm?"

"Well, I never printed out a map of Felarya, unfortunately, I was still focusing on Mica at the time."

Mica gave him an odd look.

"What? I showed you that picture I had in my book! Anyways, all I have for weapons are my pocket knife and my survival knife, my crossbow was still at home when I showed up here, unfortunately, so unless you expect me to stab a dridder to death, we need to find some ranged firepower."

"Yeah, I mean, no one that was transported here knew that they'd be transported here, and thus, we were caught off guard. ...Aaaaand since we don't have a map or anything, there's only one person who knows anything about the geography in this place." he said as he pointed at Mica. "...you."
