| A Megalodon was a prehistoric 70-foot-long (or longer) Great White Shark that used to live in the world's oceans. What if it accidentaly phased through a time rift, and appeared in Felarya? I highly doubt that any mermaids can handle the Megalodon, since it could easily kill a Sperm Whale. And another question: What if it was a pregnant female? | |

| Well, it's only common sense that if a portal appeared in water, then it would come out of the other side in a salt water environment. :p | |

...No, naturally created portals usually appear pretty randomly. After all, if I'm sitting on a sofa when a portal appears, I highly doubt I'll come out on a sofa (unless my sofa enters the portal, too).

| Megalondon, was the name of a real dinosaur. Or at least, I think, since I recall reading a book about them when I was in Elementary school. | |

| Charcharadon Megalodon was neither seventy feet long nor a dinosaur. It was a 40-60 foot long shark, similar to a mako.
As a bit of a MEG enthusiast, I've done some casual study of these guys, and let me go ahead and point out that one wouldn't stand a chance against someone like Anko, by virtue of being half her size.
I suppose I could see a group surviving in Felarya for a time. We already got displaced mosasaurs, right?

I suppose I could see a group surviving in Felarya for a time. We already got displaced mosasaurs, right? Actually, I've read that a Megalodon CAN be up to 70 feet in length. However, Scientists are unsure of how big a Megalodon can be. We'll never know. And yes, I agree with you about Anko, but let's face it: Megalodon was the fearcest predator of its time, and only died out because of the change of migratory patterns on the whales that they fed on. By this fact, I'd like to conclude that they are very strong hunters, and couldn't easily die, especially if it retreated to the deepest depths of the Felaryan ocean. This is possible because of he Meg's massive body being perfect for adaption. Even if this wasn't true, they still had electromagnetic sensory glands on their noses that allowed them to know what it's environment was, so it could steer clear of any potential threats. Whatever, we could only imagine

| No reason why Felarya can't have it's own version of a giant shark predator anyway.
