Felaryan Jumanji

I'm sure many of us grew up with this movie- just a fun thought about how Felarya would translate.



"A game for those who seek to find

a way to leave their world behind.

You roll the dice to move your token,

doubles get another turn

and the first player to reach the end wins."

If you haven't seen it, it's about an ancient cursed board game, of which the events described in the game come to life in the real world. The only way to send it all back is to finish the game.

Like in Jumanji, trying to quit the game results in being sucked through a portal into the game world, being Felarya, making it, most accurately, a game of survival. In this version, the Hunter will try to take you into Felarya itself.

Rules:
1. Player selects piece and places it in the deepest jungle.
2. Player rolls dice and moves piece ahead that many spaces.
3. The first player to reach Felarya and call out its name wins.
4. Once a game of Felarya has been started, it will not be over until a player has reached Negav.

"Adventurers beware.

Do not begin unless you intend to finish.

For the existing consequences of the game will vanish only

when a player has reached Felarya and called out its name."

Hunter card:
“Beware the Scorching Claws lest you find yourself in harpy's jaws.”

Fairies:
“Innocent and sweet, one may give chase; their disposition is how you taste.”

Dridder:
“You used to smash spiders with your shoe, let's find out how they think of you.”

Mermaid:
“Under the sea, under the sea, the fish aren't biting, they swallow whole, see?”

Dryad:
“Seeking the shade of the nearest tree can result in disastrous company.”

Slug-girl:
“Slow and steady wins the race, careful or you'll find slime on your face.”

Harpies:
“When out in the open, the worms all say, even giants must watch for birds of prey.”

The only thing I remember of this movie is that it scared me a lot (and I was too young to understand it >< )

Well, I guess it works for Epic Fail Naga


Just kidding. It's not bad, just vague. Could be any predator... I think it could apply well to the "Stampede" card, in which all of the predators you've encountered head towards you at the same time.

Besides the neko Hunter, who is trying to take you back to Felarya to keep their people's alliance with the harpies at any cost, there wouldn't be any reasonable danger from just another 'prey' species such as an unprovoked kitsune (who suddenly finds themselves out of Felarya, yay!), would there? (Well, perhaps if they realize they're going to be sent back when the game is over. >_>)

Oh, Kitsune are far from prey, they might not be technologically advanced(they stopped somewhere past the flintlock mechanism for guns), but they are very intelligent hunters, however they tend to eat Nekos rather than humans, unless the human is stupid enough to provoke them to the point that they bare their teeth and rip their throat out. However the rare giant Kitsune(there are three in the whole world, all women) will be more than happy to make a meal out of a human.

I never saw this movie but the concept look interesting !

If there were to be a film version of this one we would rly scare the kiddies
