Felaryan Anthems-(NEW SONG)

Whether I'm browsing Karbo's work; the work of fellow colleagues (aka fans of Karbo's work); or working upon my own world, I always liked to have music playing in the background.

Over time, almost by accident, certain songs and tracks just "clicked"-like they belonged. Maybe it set the mood just right, or inspired a character or situation. Maybe it may as well as been the anthem of a character or race.

While this relates to Felarya, it's too far off topic to belong in General discussion-nonetheless, I see this thread as having an important place in this universe.

While my choices are heavily biased towards industrial; rock; and metal, no genre or song is forbidden-all are welcome. Even rap is welcome to this thread.

I nominate Igor Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite". An epic concerto about life; death; and rebirth, I can think of no song that sums up the entire Felaryan experience. The wondrous beauty of this strange land; the terror of a human's first-and usually final-realization of their place in Felarya; and the overall glory of an untamed land.

Schwarze Witwe-Eisbrecher:
Whenever I listen to this song, Karbo's first dridder picture comes to mind-the lurid instrumentals and distorted female chorus layered with a deep, drained male vocals. This song itself, if not its lyrics, set a mood of creepy-crawliness-like watching a spider making it's way down her web. Plus, the title literally translates to "Black Widow"-nuff said.

Willkommen im Nichts-Eisbrecher:
Another track lifted from their debut album, this darkly humorous song seems to describe the nihilistic desperation of humans in Felarya-Welcome to Nothing, indeed.

Mein Teil-Rammstein:
This song is a voraephiles anthem. Nuff said.

Risen, Sturm & Drang,Urban Monkey Warfare-KMFDM:
These tracks from their album, Attak, I chose because of their contrast with the typical desperation-instead, there is a tone of determination. While KMFDM is often associated with the Columbine massacre, I personally find their tone to be one of construction, rather than destruction. These tracks match perfectly with that "heave ho" attitude native Felaryan humans share. To keep going, and never stop.

Such a Scream-Tom Waits:
This track from the Bone Machine album makes for a perfect tribute to Mennysan.

Eat the Rich-Motorhead
Is it about class warfare? Yes-but, with such a wild sound and a title like this, how could it not be on the list?

Feel free to list some electro songs you think "fit" with Felarya and those who make it up.

I've felt the exact same way; I also listen to music when writing my own story. Some of the songs almost seem like they fit perfectly with an aspect of Felarya, vore, or a chapter of my writings. I'll list a few examples.

Felarya/Vore, Hardcore : Start The Shooting - A Day To Remember:
Aside from one questionable phrase, this song would be a great nominee for a hardcore Felaryan theme. Even with that easily-replaceable phrase, it's fitting, especially for vore in general (in some ways).

Story, Rock/Emo : Bottom Feeder - The Killing Moon:
Can't go into too much depth without throwing spoilers out, but it's almost as if the lyrics describe the later events in the story. I think it fits best with Chapter 16, actually.

As I'm writing my stories I'm thinking of themes for each of the different characters. The game characters are easy, but the others are more difficult. Here's the themes for each of the characters in "Crisis and Friends":

As the story progresses I will think of themes for the other characters that will be introduced. In the meantime, I could use some recommendations for the ones with question marks.

Crisis is perhaps the biggest thing you'll run into. The song itself seems both mischivous and ominous. While there's no lyrics, it's still a pleasant song.

I have found the perfect music for my character, the shadow naga Mania.

Mania-Dead Silence Main Theme

It has this mysterious and absolutely haunting tune that I wanted to apply to the character.
