I miss my old XP computer... Vista kinda confuses me still. I'm sure I'll EVENTUALLY get used to it.

My Windows 7 desktop for the next half an hour, then it changes to the next in the slideshow.

If you have Win7 yourself, then it's just a theme file. Might be a way to extract them for older versions, but you might have to find those yourself.
I won't post a download since I don't know if that's allowed, and it's easy to find one if you search Google anyway.

Got this TV recently to replace my old aging Toshiba. Was going on 5 years, and the mirror engine was starting to fail, so needed to upgrade. Got a great deal on it, so bought it as an early bday present. Still a DLP fan, too. This TV seems smaller than my old one, but its actually larger in screen size by 3" diagonal - 65 vice 62.

Edit: For the curious, the picture that was in my post above on my old account is available here. I still have the TV and it still worked ( the last time I turned it on ) but it's been a while. I don't use fiberoptics anymore since everything is located together but you can see the orange patch cable too.

Nah, but it's amazing for my hands with all the typing I do. Getting old now. I had to put it aside for a while 'cause of key sticking ( still does it a little bit ) but those Kinesis boards are expensive and I can't blow money on a new one now. They last for years and years though.

The box sitting next to the rack is an 8 drive cage-free DatOptic I was using to pull data off my "cold storage" hard drive arrays. I'm keeping it attached for the time being so that when I get my HDDs to upgrade the secondary array I can use it to replace them instead of pulling slots.

Rearranged my desk layout to make it swerve the other way. Just one computer now, running Win10. Since the UPS still works I'm not buying a rack one yet. This UPS serves the tower PC and the entire rack unit.

Desktop: Asus z87 Gryphon Armour Kit i7-4770K 32GB RAM with 10x ADATA 550s in RAID5 on Areca for 1.96TB total.

Yes, these are from the ADATAs that were running in the old servers for VMs.



Just old peripherals and stuff. Grandstream GXP1620 phone, Printer, Xerox copier / scannerbed. The monitors and everything else are powered off the older / smaller CyberPower UPS you see on the floor there.





Now to just get more HDDs.... bought the tape library to be the new backup solution for 'cold storage' but I need to upgrade those 3TB to 6 or 8. Expensive though, gonna be a while to do it.

Gonna be updating this shortly. Hopefully sometime in February. Got a really good deal on a set of DAS units and a new OL conditioning double sided UPS, and bought a quieter 825M chassis to replace my 846. 846 is great for what it does but so loud when you're sitting next to it. Now just need to get the HDDs before Trump screws up import pricing ( import tax, really? Bloody hell I do not want an American VAT ).
