Important Precision on the Wiki

After a discussion, I realized some precision is needed concerning content added to the wiki... ^^;

When you contribute on anything that is not a character, you basically give up any ownership on it and it becomes fully integrated into Felarya...
This is really importat because otherwise, people could leave the community and decide on a whim to have, say, their zone removed, and then all that goes with it as well ( lore, fauna etc.. ) .
Or having some people they don't like prevented from using a particular sub-species or location.. etc etc..

This would be not tenable.
It's clear that this is not very likely to happens, but imagine the chaos this would create...

For me it was more or less a given, but after that discussion I'm not sure any more it is for everyone... So I really wanted to make the precision and I added a disclaimer in the idea section ( https://felarya.forumotion.com/new-ideas-f2/disclaimer-t1452.htm )

If you disagree with that point and you have contributed to the wiki, please contact me so we can figure out something...

To get something of mine accepted onto the wiki would be a dream for me, ownership matters very little... I'm sure many agree with me on that matter.

yes, but I think you'd be surprised. Humans are a very diverse species...

I thought this was pretty obvious, but it's good to remind it to others. And I thought the same would happen with characters, but looks like that even official ones will preserve their ownership anyways.

But of course, people, as you see in the wiki, credit will still be given... unless Karbo says the opposite - but he's been giving credit to everyone since the very beginning, he won't change it now... right? Right? *just kidding*

I think it's something very obvious, the land and the zone contribute to the development of the world and becomes a part of the world except the characters even if they become official they are a personal creations at first. So it's normal to ask the original authors to use a characters first.

The ideas I posted were made for the wiki. I thought it went without saying that they would be property of the wiki as well.
