Sean, Felaryan Elemental Knight (Chapter 4 part 4 uploaded)

The third and fourth chapter course spans around some days. The current day will be notified like this: *Day 6* before starting the events. Some days will be skipped to avoid making this too long. From this point on, I'll try developing Sean's personality, but don't expect this to be perfect. On a side note, just try to imagine that little bongo sound in Yoshi's Island before you begin a level when you read *Day something*, it's kinda funny. I came up with hand formations for the nine seals, but they may be poorly described. This chapter is more of a filler so you know what each seals look like. The seal thing does not come from Naruto, I actually came up with my own. If one or more seal used in this chapter is also used in the show or mange, it is pure coincidence.

Chapter 3 - Training Craze 1

Sean was enjoying eating the fruits at the Chordoni Waterfalls. "Hmm, It's way better than what I got home. *munch munch* What are these called?" he said. He looked around, Vivian wasn't there. "...Oh well, more for me!" he said happily. He continued picking more Citroise, when he picked one at the same time as a man with torn clothes and dirt over his body. The two of them stared angrily at each other, both wanting the sweet fruit. "We decide with Janken?" said the man. " 'Kay." said Sean. They both stood up, put their right hand behind their back, and said together: "Jan... KEN!" But instead of showing a fist, a flat hand or two fingers like he is supposed to, Sean simply punched the man in the face as he took out his hand, knocking him out. "Ha... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Idiot!" he said laughing at the unconscious man. He picked the fruit and ate it. The man woke up and yelled "Cheater! That's not fair!" "What's not fair, I was simply smarter than you, loser." said Sean, mockingly. The man attempted to dash at Sean, but Sean prevented this by saying: "Great, I was itching for some action." He then taunted the man by telling him to bring it with his hand while saying: "Come on, show me what you got." The man tried to rush toward Sean and screamed: "Why you little-" when Vivian returned and picked up the dirty human. "Man, you really suck at life, you can't drop your guard for even a second here you dick." said Sean while looking at the captured human from the corner of his eye. "Dammit, you had to spoil the fun Vivian-sensei." Thought Sean. The human was struggling, but Vivian just tossed him in her mouth, gulping him down. Sean could see the lump going down and hear a faint "Nooooooo" all the way down before disappearing near the chest. Sean replied mockingly: "Hey, look at the bright side, at least you will no longer fail." Vivian looked at Sean and asked: "Don't tell me you fought for a Citroise again?" "And that's the third one that fell for the same trick. I can't believe humans actually dominate on their own planets, they're only good at being food here." replied Sean while smiling at Vivian.

"Oh by the way, I found something weird." said Sean. He took out his ocarina, which he used some yellow fruits to paint in dark yellow. Sean said: "Now, listen and watch carefully." As he was ready to play, music that wasn't the sound of a flute started playing. Vivian watched Sean and noticed he wasn't even playing. Sean then started playing, but whistling came out instead. He then stopped playing and even put the instrument in his pocket, but the music continued to play. Vivian looked around, no one was there and the music was too clear to come from the woods. Sean opened his eyes, the music stopped. He then used his fingers like a baton as if he was commanding an orchestra, the music started again. "So, any explanation?" Sean asked. "Well, you know that you can reproduce a melody perfectly, right? What you just did was probably some latent ability that had finished developing." answered Vivian. "Cool, and it's good for what?" asked Sean with great enthusiasm. "Nothing." she answered. Sean then looked depressed for having his ego blown in his face. "You'd better get some rest. Tommorow you start training." She said to Sean. "Aye!" said Sean.

*Day 1*

It was morning, Vivian was teasing Sean, who was still sleeping, with her tail to wake him up. "Hmm, mm... Alright alright, I'll get up." He then weakely got up, yawned and stretched and was still half-asleep. Later, after Sean was fully awake. "Alright! What am I gonna learn today, Vivian-sensei?" said Sean confident. "Sensei?" asked Vivian. "Yeah, I always call my teachers sensei." answered Sean while smiling at Vivian. She then took it for a compliment and said: "How sweet, thank you." while teasing him with her tail again. Sean was struggling, "Okay, okay! I get it!" he said angrily. She stopped. "Ahem, today you'll learn how to choose and switch Element." she said after getting back her seriousness. "In order for you to use an Element, you must make the proper seal with your hands." she continued. Sean nodded.

"For the Fire Seal, put your left hand in front of you with the palm facing you." Sean did so. "Now with your right hand, grab the back of your left hand and put your right fingers between each left fingers." Sean did so and his marks, clothes and his sword hilt and handle turned red. "Good job." said Vivian. Sean simply smiled, showing his teeth, while blushing and stroking the back of his head. "Now for the Water Seal, simply stick your fingers together for both hands, then stick both hand palms together and have your fingers points diagonally upward in opposite directions." Sean did so, and his marks, clothes and sword hilt and handle turned blue. "Hey, that's a nice blue." exclaimed Sean after looking at his now blue clothes. "Good, for the Wind Seal, stick your fingers again except your thumbs, then cross both thumbs." Sean laid in a fetal position looking depressed. "That thing they teach us in kindergarden is actually the Wind Seal? You have got to be fugging kidding me." he said. "Is something wrong?" asked Vivian. "Oh, huh... nothing!" he said then made the seal and his stuff turned green. "Now where did I saw that again?" said Sean looking at his clothes. "For the Earth Seal, grab both hands by the side." "So that's why people do that when victorious, another mystery solved." commented Sean satirically. This time his clothes turned orange. Sean looked at him and thought of an orange (the fruit). "Must... resist... temptation to eat myself." He said, hungry.

"For the Lightning Seal, cross each of your fingers except your thumbs without your palms touching each other." Doing so, Sean's stuff turned yellow, which made him think of a lemon. >_>; "Geez, ever since I ended up here, all I think about is food." he said commenting on his yellow marks. "For the Ice Seal, stick your left fingers except the thumb together with your palm facing you, then wrap your right fingers around your left ones except the left thumb." This time, his clothes turned cyan. "This one makes me think of an extra strong peppermint." he commented at the color. "Excellent, now for the Wood Seal, have the back of your right hand face you, then stick both hand palms together and have your left fingers wrap around your hand without wrapping your right fingers." Doing so, Sean's stuff turned brown. He didn't comment on that one for obvious reasons. "Now the Light Seal, stick both palms together like the Water Seal while spreading your fingers." This time, his attire turned white. "Great, I'm a ghost now." he commented satirically. "For the last one, the Shadow Seal, stick your fingers together for both hands except the thumbs, stick the back of your left hand in the palm of your right hand, then wrap your right fingers around the palm of your left hand and have your left fingers wrap over them." Now his attire turned black. "The first one who makes an emo joke is dead, then whoever makes another one dies too." he said to whoever reading this. "Well done, to revert to normal, cross all of your fingers while sticking both palms together." He did so and he reverted to his trademark violet color. "Now I want you to memorize each seals by heart, once you do, train to change between each Elements rapidly." Said Vivian. "Aye." replied Sean.

Sean is now in a glade, looking at his hands while executing each seal. "Fire... Water... Wind... Earth... Lightning... Ice... Wood... Light... Shadow..." he said over and over at a fairly slow pace. "*sigh* Okay, here goes." Sean said. He closed his eyes, then made each seal at a little faster pace, looking at his clothes after making each seal. After doing it five times, he exclaimed: "Alright, it's looking good. Now for something more difficult." "Shadow, Water, Ice, Fire, Water, Light, Earth, Fire, Wind, Wood, Shadow, Light, Ice..." he kept saying and making each seal out of order until he messed up. "Damn, here we go." He kept saying and executing each seal in random order until he messed up again. "Argh, again." He repeated the pattern. At his 4th attempt, he messed up on the 23th seal instead of 16th. "Damn, it's not quite right." The day went by and Sean continued to train.

*Day 2*

The sun has started to set, he continued training and messing, though his pace seemed to be improving. "Dammit all, I can't get it right." he said in anger.

*Day 3*

That night, he was still up. "Alright, HERE GOES!" He shouted. He kept making seals in quite quick succession. "Fire, Wind, Wood, Ice, Fire, Shadow, Light, Shadow, Water, Lightning, Ice, Wood..." He said. "I must make it to 200 before that moon is fully visible." he thought. "...Ice, Water, Wind, Ice, Wind, Shadow, Wood, Fire, Earth, Wood, Earth..." "67, 68, 69, 70, I can't lose here." he thought while looking determined. "Wood, Light, Earth, Ice, Fire, Shadow, Fire, Water..." "Half-way done, can't go back now." thought Sean still looking determined. The moon he was looking at was half-revealed. "Wind, Shadow, Earth, Wind, Ice, Lighting, Light, Lightning, Fire, Water..." having the 150th seal, the moon was 3/4 revealed. "Gotta... make it." He thought desperately. "Lightning, Water, Wind, Wood, Wind, Water, Ice..." "Almost..." he thought. The moon was almost fully revealed. "Wood, Shadow, Ice, Lightning, Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, NEUTRAL!" He screamed as he crossed his fingers and looked at the moon, who had still a small cloud part just before being full. Sean then smiled while showing his theeth, closed his eyes shut and screamed: "YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS! I did it!" Sean then fell asleep. Vivian saw the whole thing and simply said: "Great job. You deserve some rest." She couldn't help tickling his belly, he simply said casually in his dreams: "Heh heh heh heh heh, I am the best."

Somewhere in the forest, the silhouette of a man with long hair stopping near the shoulders wearing a cloak was standing on a branch while looking toward Sean. "Sean... Okotami..." he said.

Important notice, READ IT: Vivian didn't protect Sean from the guy, she casually picked him the moment she got here and Sean was actually ready to fight him if Vivian didn't intervene. She guessed of the event when Sean taunted him when captured.

The song Sean plays at the beggining is the mini-boss song from Wind Waker. Janken is Japanese for "Rock, Paper, Scissors". I put various references in this chapter, some more subtle than others. I broke the 4th wall on purpose, it was too tempting. Sean actually thinks that humans are weak here because he has yet to see Negav. Even though he used to be one, he had serious doubts on how they govern on Earth. Once he will get to Negav, he'll reconsider them as not so weak. Chapter 3 and 4 share the same title as they both share the same event, Sean learning how to use his powers. The guy at the end is actually another Elemental Knight that I plan on introducing. He acts as a rival to Sean. song here

well I think you are somehow too much focusing on this magic system you created and not enough on the story and characters... That make the story a bit odd in my opinion ^^;

Plus having this magic system in Felarya is a thing, but having existing characters such as Vivian speaking of it like this is the standard in Felarya sound strange to me... I think you should primarily focus on your characters and plot, with the system being an element of your story, rather than the opposite.; Well just a personnal opinion

Well, something I forgot to specify in the Prologue, Elemental Knights existed for a very long time on Felarya and their skills are common knowledge. That chapter was more to introduce each seal rather than being relevant to the whole story. You could consider it a filler.

In the next chapter, I'm focusing more on Artemia, I just want to see spider-girl. Sean is still in training, but we simply see him train for brief moments.

For Artemia, you better ask Veeshan permission first.. she is his character ^_^

Yikes, might be problematic since he isn't around. ... I'll try with Lily instead, though her hatred for humans will make this one tough.

In this chapter, we discover a darker facet of Sean's personality which makes him a potential predator in Felarya, in an unusual manner. If you are the kind of person who casually manipulate peoples close to you and dispose of them when no longer useful for your own desires without feeling an ounce of guilt, avoid Sean like the plague: he will mercilessly eleminate you. If you are a con artist like Gunther, don't worry, you only fool complete strangers who lacks the brain to see a con and your cunning makes up for being an ass. I originally intended to introduce Subeta later in the story, but I still intend to have Sean and her become closer later. The day system continue from the previous chapter. Since the Element system is clear by now, additional abilities will demonstrated in story rather than explained. From now on, I'm using another way to deal with speech. This chapter really introduces fights between Sean and another character as well as sweatdrops, I give a song after the chapter that I used when visualizing the battle, but you can use your own. The said song is the one Sean plays during the battle, he played too many video games. ^^; In other word, you can assume your own battle music for fights and not only mine.

Chapter 4 - Training Craze 2

Part 1

*Day 7*

We see Sean in Lightning Form running at high speed through the forest toward the Giant Tree.
Sean: "Heh, heh. Lightning Mobility is great. I could have used it whenever I overslept years ago."
Suddenly, an orange haired fairy with butterfly like wings passed right in front of him.
Sean: "Whoa! Careful!"
He slid underneath her like a baseball player as she gained altitude.
Sean: "Sorry! I'm in a hurry!"
The fairy, who wasn't really bigger than Sean, stared angrily at him with her blue eyes.
Lily: "That blasted human!"
Sean, in is Neutral Form, was now lost somewhere near the Giant Tree.
Sean: "Huuh? Which way am I supposed to go now? Dammit, if that fairy wasn't there I wouldn't get lost."
As he walked, another much bigger fairy with orange hair, but with dragonfly wings, black eyes and a glove on her left hand was stalking him. Sean then stopped, changed to Wind Form and used it to make a breeze blows toward north.
Sean: "... *sweatdrop* Oh yeah, I still don't know where I'm supposed to go without a map."
He then reverted to Neutral Form.
Sean: "*sigh* This can't get any worse."
The Giant Fairy then grabbed him and was now staring at her prey.
Sean: "Dammit all! Of course it can always get worse here. *banging his head on her fingers* Stupid! Useless! Memory!"
*noticing Sean's sword* Subeta: "Nice sword, mind if I take a look?"
She took his blade.
Sean: "Hey! Gimme that!"
She then tossed Sean in her mouth and gulped him down.
*As the lump was going down* Sean: "You are SO dead if you ever sell it!"
After he reached the stomach, he looked around, it was the same as any other one.
Sean: "Okay, that's not what I expected the inside to look like, kind of ironic."
His stomach growled.
Sean: *sweatdrop* "Right, I'm sure I just established the record of most ironic thing ever."

Meanwhile, Subeta met with Léa at the Giant Tree.
Subeta: "Sorry if I'm late, I had an en route snack."
Léa: "Don't worry, it's fine. Shall we go?"
Subeta nodded. Léa then got on her head and the Fairy departed to the sky.
Subeta: "I almost forgot, that violet striped human also had this sword with him. Here."
Léa: "Violet striped?"
She gave to Léa who immediatly recognized it.
Léa: "That's Sean's sword!"
Subeta: "Sean?"
Lily: "YOU!"
Subeta came to a stop as she came face to face with Lily.
Lily: "You finally show up, human!"
Léa and Subeta: "Lily!"
Sean: "Owowowowowowow! Hothothothothothothothot! THAT ACID'S OVER 100° CELSIUS!"
He passed through the stomach wall in Shadow Form, red skinned and... transparent? He then became opaque again, fell a bit and switch to Wind Form, now normal colored skinned. He flew in front of Subeta's face, staring at her pissed and pointing her.
Sean: "YOU! GIVE ME BACK MY SWORD OR YOUR WINGS ARE DUST!"
Léa: "Sean?"
Subeta: "That's Sean?"
Sean: "Huh? Léa-nee-san?"
Lily: "Not you again!"
Sean: "Huh? The fairy from earlier? Please, no more people coming in."
Lily: "You got a lot of nerves coming here!"
*Léa and Subeta are both sweatdropping*
Subeta: "She isn't wondering how he can fly?"
Léa: "Let's just get out of here."
Subeta fled.
Sean: "Hey! you're going nowhere!" *he then chase her*
Lily: "Same for you!" *she chases Sean"
Sean: "I have no business with you right now."
Sean: "Wind Element - Wind Arena Trap!"
A wall of wind prevented Subeta from escaping and Lily from pursuing him.
Subeta: "The wind is too strong. I can't get through!"
*after catching up* Sean: "Give me back my sword!"
Meanwhile, Lily passed through the wall thanks speed increasing magic.
*sensing the wind being pierced with Wind Perception* Sean: "She got through? Whatever, give me my sword."
Léa: "Sean, dispel that wall, quick!"
Sean: "Sword first."
Subeta: "Fine, take it!"
She gave it back to him.
Lily: "You're mine this time!"
She sprouted a vine out of her hand toward Léa to impale her.
Sean: "Sonic Slicer!"
Sean then swinged his sword which sent a crescent shaped sonic boom, slicing the vine in two. Sean kept his pose and stared toward Lily.
Sean: "Now I have business with you."
He clapped both hands together.
Sean: "Arena Trap, Dispel."
The wall of wind dissipated.
Sean: "You take Léa-nee-san to safety, I'll slow down our uninvited guest."
Subeta didn't argue and fled.
Lily: "Where do you think you're going!?"
She attempted following them, but Sean blocked her.
Sean: "You have to get through me first."
Lily: "Why you! DIE!"
She sent vines toward Sean.
Sean: "Wind Element - Tornado Arm!"
He thrusted his arm, then an horizontal twister came out and entangled the vines. Other vines came out from the entangled ones.
Sean: "What?"
The vines entangled him.
Lily: "Now, prepare to die you filthy human."
She then sprouted a sharp vine to pierce him.
Sean: "I'm no human. Wind Element - Air Cutter!"
Razor like winds sliced the vines, Lily and Sean as well.
Sean: *thinking* "Dammit, she forced me to use a double-edge attack. Léa-nee-san should be safe by now, no use lingering this fight any longer."
Sean: "My job is done. Léa-nee-san should be in a safe place by now, so I'm outta here. See ya!"
Sean dived toward the ground.
Lily: "Hold on! Graah! You haven't seen the last of me!"
Sean landed in the forest surrounding the Giant Tree and reverted to Neutral Form.
Sean: "You haven't seen the last of me either."

Forms refer to which Element Sean is using, it is simply his clothes, marks and sword being the color of the corresponding Element. You'll notice some of Sean's abilities have the same name as other skills from different games and medias. Sadly, I don't have the time to come up with original names, besides it's only a skill name, better be clear with it rather than original.

A little announcement: on the first page, I'm using one of my posts to give links to my uploaded work on DA, not only my story, but elements from my story as well. Part 2

In Wind Form, Sean used his heightened sense of smell to track Léa and Subeta. This led him near the Giant Tree, though why they would choose such an obvious shelter was beyond him. Once he found them, he reverted to his Neutral Form.
Sean: "Léa-nee-san, there you are."
He then noticed that Subeta was now about as tall as Léa.
Sean: "Wait, didn't you used to be ten time my size?"
Subeta: "I used size-shifting magic. Almost every fairies can do that, duh!"
Sean: *sweatdropping* "Oh, yeah, seems logical."
He put his hands in his pockets, something was in the left one.
Sean: "Huh?"
He took it out, it was a strange sprout, and rather big for a sprout.
Sean: "A sprout? Don't tell me!?"
Lily: "That's right!"
Everyone looked toward Lily who was floating high behind Sean.
Sean: "A tracker, huh? You put it in my pocket when you entangled me, am I right?"
Lily: "My, you're quick. These darlings emits a magical aura that let me track anyone in their possesion, anywhere."
Sean: *mad* "Crafty little bugger aren't ya?"
Sean drew his sword. He prepared to dash toward Lily, when...
???: "What are you doing here!?"
Everyone turned around to see Crisis... in a bad mood.
Crisis: "You're not welcome here Lily. Go away immediatly!"
Sean: *dumbfounded* "Crisis?" *thinking* "I never saw her like that before."
Lily looked frustrated, grinning her teeth, but then simply smirked. Everyone became alerted to it. Lily simply snapped her finger and vines trapped Sean in some sort of colosseum. A huge seed then fell in the arena as well. The seed opened and vines sprouted, taking the shape of a muscular humanoid bigger than Sean.
Sean: *mad* "God Dammit! She tricked me again!"
Lily: "Always have a backup plan, or you'll get cornered. Accept this as a parting gift." She snapped her fingers again, the Vine Golem then came to life.
Lily: "Have fun."
She flew away.
Sean: *screaming* "Wait! Lily! Dammit!"

The Golem moved toward Sean, it slammed its left fist at the ground right at Sean, but he backflipped out of the way. It tried to punch him with its other arm, Sean jumped and landed on the Golem's arm. He rushed toward the head and sliced horizontally, the other way horizontally, spun 360° in the same direction and slashed upward using the centrifugal force of the spin to power his slash then slashed downward, all of this in quick succession before the Golem punched Sean out of the way with its left arm. Sean landed hard on the ground and slid along it quite far. The Golem then slammed both fist on the ground, sending a wave of impaling roots toward Sean. He rolled out of the way and began to circle around the arena.

The Golem untangled its vines serving for arms, becoming long tentacles like vines and swept them toward Sean. He jumped over the right one, the left one hit him right in the face. He dropped his sword as it flew a few meters away from his opponent. Once he got up, the Golem re-entangled its arms and moved toward Sean. It tried crushing him again, but this stime he side-jumped toward the right so its left arm wouldn't reach him. He did a jump sweep kick with his left foot, followed by his right foot, for minor damage. Being naturally stronger than a human, he could do damage, but those were minimal. After landing, Sean rolled between the Golem's legs, dodging both fist slamming down. Sean then punched the Golem's posterior cruciate ligament (the back of the knee if you prefer) with his right fist, then quickly his left, followed quickly with his left elbow and finished by spinning then slamming his right elbow.

The Golem didn't flinch, it turned around, attempted punching Sean who simply did a somersault and used the momentum of the frontflip to heel drop the Golem's head with increased power. Landing behind him, Sean hit the Golem's posterior cruciate ligament with right knee, quickly kicked with his right foot, followed by a quick back kick from his left foot and finished with a side right kick. The Golem then fell on its knee. Sean, being well versed on the human body structure knew that the back of a joint is very frail, and by hitting it over and over, it would eventually break. He then rushed to get back his blade, but the Golem untangled its arms and planted the vines in the ground. As Sean was running to his weapon, vines attempted to impale him from below. He outran them, but was hit after recovering his sword. The Golem having now recovered, tried to whip Sean as he dashed toward him, but he kept dodging. With one swing of his sword, he managed to decapitate his foe.

But it wasn't over, the torso of the Golem started to glow green, re-animating it. Sean saw the source of his foe's power: the seed. Acting like the heart, it gave energy to the mass of vines and without the head, it had to produce even more energy, revealing it. The Golem stomped the ground, vicious roots came out and struck Sean from above, dealing a lot of damage. The Golem wasn't holding back anymore. Having taken a beating, Sean wouldn't last really long, so he had to try something risky. He noticed that the ribcage was more revealed, so he could try to take out the heart in one shot. Sean dashed toward the Golem, who lifted both fist above its absent head. Sean then threw his sword at the ribcage, but simply did a minor slash at the side of the heart. It seemed that he had lost, but then the heart suddenly glowed more and more bright. Sean noticed that though the slash was minor, it was deep enough for the energy to leak. With it, the heart was now overworking to compensate for the loss of energy. The Golem was thrown off balance from the attack, so Sean rushed to his weapon, picked it then stabbed the heart, stopping it. The whole mass of vines then crumbled and Sean, bleeding a bit, sat and sighed in exhaustion.

Crisis: *voice muffled a bit* "Sean are you all right? What's going on in there?"
Sean: *muffled* "I'm fine, just some flesh wounds, but I took care of the so-called parting gift."
Crisis: *muffled* "What a relief, Subeta and I were taking care of the vines for a while, but they are tough. We're almost done, but it might still take a while."
Sean: *laughing* "Okay, I'll be waiting. *to himself* It's really not an RPG here, the doors won't unlock right after the fight at all."
Some time later, after Sean was freed and his blood coagulated, he was eating some fruits with, Léa, Subeta and Crisis, with latter two having some tied up humans at their sides, shrunken for Subeta, that Sean helped capture and tied to prevent them interrupting the dinner; the sun was already setting.
Subeta: *to Sean* "I didn't introduced myself yet, haven't I? My name is Subeta, my friends call me the Collector Fairy."
Sean: *slightly blushing* "Subeta... you're nickname is really accurate. You really have guts to take my sword so casually, I like you-" *blush*
Subeta: *giggling* "You really are something to tackle a Golem in close combat, you must have guts to dare doing that. Or maybe you're just stupid?"
She picked a shrunk human and swallowed it whole, with a visible bulge going down.
Sean: *mad* "Hey! I'm an Elemental Knight for your information! So watch your words!"
Subeta: "So you are one of those humans with stripes that Temi forbid us to eat. You taste better than most humans, why shouldn't I eat you?"
Sean was boiling with rage, thinking that she was mocking him.
Subeta: *continuing* "Furthermore, you must actually enjoy pain with all those wounds and how you withstood stomach acid."
Sean was about to burst in rage. Crisis, who had a human in her mouth which she promptly swallowed, with a bulge of course, interrupted Sean before he even uttered a sound.
Crisis: *to Subeta* "Actually, Temi is right. You see..."
She explained what happened the day Sean arrived in Felarya; all of this is explained through flashbacks of what happened instead of speech. An eery music played during the flashback.
Crisis: *shivering* "Where did that music came from?"
Sean: *patting the back of his head* "Sorry, I couldn't resist. *serious* But anyway, who was that fairy Lily that kept pestering me and Léa-nee-san?"
Upon hearing this, Crisis looked serious.
Subeta: *music played all long* "Lily is a friend of mine and a Fairy from my pack as well. She is normally full of life and a very resourceful and loyal companion who always brought humans for all of us. However, she hates humans. She is called the Slayer Fairy for her cruelty toward them. When she was too young to use her magic, her little sister got captured and tortured by humans, she died from her injuries. She never forgave humans for what they did, and becomes aggressive when confronted to them. Some fairies from my pack have human friends, this is why we avoid her when with them. She actually tried to kill Léa once long before you came here, Crisis never forgave Lily, that incident permanently shattered their friendship. You can stop that music now."
Sean: "So that's the whole story. She kills humans that had nothing to do with that incident, that's sick. Just because some humans did something evil doesn't mean that every humans are evil. I would never do such a thing."

*Day 10*

Sean is staring at a bleeding human corpse, his blade stained with blood. His pupils are absent, only the blue iris remains in his eyes.
Sean: *with an eery, echoing voice* "No Heartless, shall live, to enter, to my paradise."
This was a glimpse from the future.

Heartless is the name Sean gives to people who manipulates an accomplice, a partner, a friend or a relative for their own desires, then dispose of them when they are no longer of use without feeling an ounce of guilt or even enjoy it. It can also refer to slave master, an usurper or someone using underhanded tactics like the Negavians did to the Nekos. Con artists like Gunther aren't Heartless as their victimes are complete strangers.

When fighting non sentient creatures, I rarely put speech lines as the creature can't respond.

The reason Sean didn't use his Elemental Powers was to prove to Lily that even without Elemental Powers, he wasn't someone to mess with. In short, it was simply a question of pride, even though she wasn't even there to watch.

When fighting, Sean often shouts in the same manner as Link do whenever he he attacks and whenever he gets nailed; he doesn't do this all the time and the shouts can be anything you want.

Sean is actually well versed on human anatomy since he was always interested on the body function. He always took classes about biology and anatomy and some in medicine to know how to stay healthy as well as recognize diseases and what causes them. This, along with music, physical education and French (since he was born English) were the only subjects where he was excellent, everything else he merely got the passing grade.

He also took lessons in martial arts, which also included Kendo. He was considered a natural. Between him and his twin, Sean is the brawn while his twin is the brain.

The arena that trapped Sean was actually to high for Crisis to see properly in it; Subeta was able to have a bird's eye view of it, though it was too tight for her to intervene.

Centrifugal force and momentum are both physic concepts that affect a body in movement with centrifuge being rotation on an axis and momentum dealing with a falling body. By spinning before slashing, Sean's blade was moving at a greater speed the moment it made contact, increasing the power of the impact; while by somersaulting, his foot reached it's apex, thus fell at a greater speed once it made contact, again increasing impact strength.

Only Elemental Knights with a neutral shaded aura are striped, this is to identify them given the rarity of auras with a neutral shade. Those with darker or lighter shade have none because they are common. Since I doubt tribal humans are common in Felarya, a human with colored marks over his body is most likely an Elemental Knight, unless he is rainbow striped of course, in which case it's never a Knight.

Sean's type of girl is the attractive and gutsy type, hence why he is blushing when looking at Subeta. He still doesn't like being made fun of, but since he is a womanizer, he can't hold a grudge against females.

The sentence Sean says at the end is a reference to a fan made Megaman X game. It's some sort of omen foretelling the events of Megaman Zero. At the end of that game, X, whose eyes are hidden by shadows, says: "No Maverick, shall live, to enter, to my paradise." hinting that it may actually be Copy X. I found that phrase really awesome and perfect as a cliffhanger, so I used it.

The music I played during the fight against the Vine Golem was this. You don't need to answer it, but you can use the music of your choice for that fight.

The music Sean played during Crisis' explanation of the day Sean came was this.

The music Sean played when Subeta told him about Lily was Return to Zero, found there.

Though I didn't state it, the music that played during the future glimpse was X, The Legend; found there.

Maybe I should have done it earlier, but Sean's normal voice can found there. Choose -Prologue- Glallarhorn, it's the second voice you hear. It actually sounds awfully like Naruto's voice. Maybe they used the same voice actor for Megaman Zero remasters, but who cares. Three years later, Sean's voice is entirely different.

His darker self voice is found there. Choose Thruth of Hero, it's the second voice you hear. Sean's darker self has a less robotic voice, but it is similar. In both the previous case and this one, the voices are in Japanese. Use the same voice for English speech.

Part 3

*Final Day, Day 14*

Sean was walking in a huge glade, not very far from the Giant Tree. Sean came to an halt, looking serious. Lily then came out of the nearby big bushes.
Lily: "So you came after all."
Sean: "Hmph, I knew it was you who wrote me that note."
That morning, Sean was given a note by a strange human. It told him to come to that glade. Meanwhile, hiding behind the trees were Vivian, Crisis, Subeta (with Léa) and Anna... well, more or less willing that is.
Anna: "Remind me why I had to come along again."
Crisis: "Because he often came back with his sword stained with blood lately, and because I know you care about him."
Anna: "*sigh* I only care about him because he almost lived the same experience as me, that's all."
Crisis then tried to get a better view, but she accidentaly broke a branch, giving their location to Sean and Lily. Even with 60 years of experience in stealth, everyone is prone to screwing up on occasion, you have to be a God to never blunder.
Anna: *glaring at Crisis* "Nice job."
Lily: "Hey! I told you to come alone!"
Sean: "Tsk, I don't have a 6th sense you know. Besisdes, glad they followed me, I hate looking like I'm hiding something."
Lily: "But you are hiding something!"
Anna: "What is she talking about?"
They came out of hiding by the way.
Vivian: "Well..."
Lily had a vine come, it was holding a bloody human corpse.
Subeta: "Did she kill him?"
Vivian: "No, look carefully at the body."
They did and found what was strange.
Lily: "Those are sword wounds, no mistaking it. And YOU are a swordsman."
Sean looked down, smirked and...
Sean: *eery echoing voice* "Well done, the Human Hunter finally calculates two plus two."
Subeta: "That voice... it gives me the creeps, what's happening?"
Sean raised his head, his pupils were gone! Crisis and Subeta were horrified upon seeing this, Anna wasn't so much.
Sean: *eery echoing voice* "Then, you know that I'm not really human either, don't you?"
Anna: "First a demon, now this. What's with that kid?"
Vivian simply looked serious and said nothing.
Léa: "Vivian, you know something don't you?"
Vivian: "It happened four days ago..."

Sean is playing his ocarina while Vivian is bathing in the waterfall. Sean looks at her from the corner of his eye, blushes then looks away. Suddenly, a human comes out from the bushes, it was a male Deluran.
Man: "I was looking for you. That's a nice song."
Vivian watched from the waterfalls and Sean stopped playing.
Sean: "What are you doing here? You know this place is practically a deathtrap for humans."
Man: "I know, but I heard a rumor..."
Sean: "Hmm? What rumor?"
Man: "Yes. You see, I heard that a kid with purple marks was able to tame the monsters out there. I actually saw you with a blond Naga a while back and she was completely harmless to you."
Sean: *suspicious* "Then how come you are still alive? She would have found you right away."
Man: "I used long-range binoculars. Anyway, I came here so we could use you fo-"
Sean: *alerted* "You said use me?"
Man: "Yes. With you, we wouldn't have to worry about those monsters anymore. We could finally return home and start an invasion."
Sean: "Get lost and get AIDS! No way I'm following you."
The man then pulled out a gun that he picked from a previous Canopy Pantaur's victim and pointed it at Sean.
Man: "You will come with us, like it or not."
Vivian hurried toward Sean, when...
Sean: *eery echoing voice* "You dirty swine..."
Vivian stopped not too far from Sean upon hearing his voice. The man was alerted.
Sean: *eery echoing voice* "You don't care at all about others... *he raised his head* All that matters is yourself!"
His pupils were gone; the man was horrified and almost dropped his gun. Vivian was shocked too, but not by much.
Vivian: "Soul Split? Two were chosen then?"
Sean: *dark* "So it's called Soul Split, and it seems I'm not the only one who recieved an upgrade. In any case, you'll be terminated for being an Heartless."
The man was nervously shaking; he tried shooting Sean, but he was too nervous to aim correctly and missed every shots. He ran out of ammo, panicked and dropped the gun. He tried running away, but Sean picked the gun, threw it and hit the back of the man's knee, causing him to fall.
Man: *sweating and terrified* "No! Please! Don't kill me!"
Sean slashed him with tip of his blade of few times. The man was bleeding and hyperventilating.
Man: "S-Stop it... p-p-please... Noooo!"
Sean slashed his chest, killing him. He was starring at the bleeding corpse.
Sean: *dark* "No Heartless, shall live, to enter, to my paradise."
The flashback ends here.

Anna: "What is that Soul Split thing?"

Vivian: "It's complication that may occur during the rebirth of an Elemental Knight, it mostly happens when two Knights are chosen on the same year. The first one won't have any proplems, but the second one will be more difficult. Sometimes, the second Knight's soul will be split in two; his thoughts of what he dislikes the most will become a separate personality that surfaces only whenever he is confronted by what he despises. When that happens, his voice becomes sinister and his appearance changes. He doesn't become stronger, nor does he loses control over himself, it's simply a change in behavior; he becomes sadistic, cold and merciless. Though it's never permanent and it corrects itself over time, he is fully aware of what he says, do and remembers everything once he reverts to normal. It often becomes second nature once his souls reunites."

Vivian: "Sean once told me that he has a fraternal twin brother, but never saw or heard of him for twelve years now. Maybe his brother was the first one."
Crisis: "But he said that he didn't have a sibling."
Léa: "He didn't says that he never had a sibling, he simply meant that he used to have one and thought he would never see him again."
Lily: *to Sean* "You're a freak, you're a monster!"
Sean: *dark* "A monster? Tell me who is really a monster. Me? Or those who rejected me because I was different for twelve years?"
Lily flinched.
Sean: *dark* "That's right, I killed for my own reasons and you call me a monster, when you are the same as me."
Lily: *mad* "Shut up! My sister died because of you humans!"
Sean: *dark* "And you kill humans out of vengeance, when they aren't even involved with your sister's death anymore. However... *reverts to normal* those I murdered had no respects for the life of others in the first place. They would repeat the same incident. In a sense, I'm preventing this tragedy from repeating itself."
Lily: *enraged* "That's it! I got enough of you!"
Sean: "So it's a battle you want. Then..."
Sean quickly did the Fire Seal, Water Seal, Wind Seal, Earth Seal, Lightning Seal, Ice Seal, Wood Seal, Ligh Seal, Shadow Seal and Neutral Seal.
Sean: "Nine Elemental Arena Trap!"
He planted his hands in the ground; a force field surrounded the battle area, preventing Crisis, Vivian, Subeta, Anna and Léa from interferring.
Sean: "Let's do it fair and square, no holding back!"

In the flashback, Sean wasn't playing a specific tune, it was an original song of his creation. All I can say is that it was a really good song. Elemental Knights existed for thousands of years, long before Ur-Sagol was even founded. Their abilities and secrets are common knowledge among Warriors and Mages alike. Arena Trap is the most known ability of Elemental Knights, they use it to prevent outside interferences and their does from using tactics such as shooting sands in your eyes then fleeing; summoning magic is still possible. When using Arena Trap, the Knight can't switch Element or it would automatically dispel it; Nine Elemental Arena Trap uses all nine Elements so Knights can still change Element. They must do what Sean did to activate it, so you need quick hands. You can guess that the Deluran guy screamed whenever he go slashed.

Announcement: From now on, my stories will be uploaded on DA. More accurately, there. And after Chapter 4 is completely finished, I will NEED feedback before another chapter is even under construction. I'm freakin' serious this time, how do you expect me to improve without critics? If you have time to comment on a veteran the day he upload his work, you would do the same for me if I uploaded somewhere else. I need criticism, I feel like my works there are a "whoops, wrong page" excuse right now. It's really hard for my spirit, I require motivation to continue. Right now I'm feeling Part 4 is going downhill, so I'm hesitant to upload it once finished.

Well there is a nice action that is flowing well
but somehow things look a bit convenient to me... I am not sure how to say that in english but in my opinion differents elements of the plot click too well between them and that tend to remove some of the surprise and mistery of the story.. ^^;

Part 4

The battle started with Sean dashing toward Lily. He did a flying spin kick with his foot on fire. Lily dodged it and cut in the back with her vines. Sean cut the vines, his sword was glowing, indicating he was using Charge Up. Sean: "Here goes! Rising Flame Blade!" He nailed Lily with his sword surrounded by bright, searing flames. The crafty Fairy had vines sprout out of the ground to impale Sean as he was vulnerable. Sean: "Fire Element - Incinerating Wave!" A heatwave so hot that the hair turned orange and caught fire burned the vines to a crisp, but damaged Sean and Lily as well. Sean: "Fire Element - Rising Fire!" As he landed, he planted his hand in the ground and a volley of fireballs erupted from under Lily.

Sean quickly switched to Water Form, he dashed to Lily and tried a flying back kick, reverse roundhouse kick, left puch, right ridge hand combo, but missed despite chaining it in quick succession. Lily attempt to slice Sean with vines again, but he dodged by back handspringing continually. Sean: "Water Element - Hydro Cannon!" He thrusted both arms and sent a stream of water at high speed, but missed as Lily increased her speed. He clapped both hands together. Sean: "Water Element - Decieving Mist!" Mist shrouded the arena. Sean: "Liquid Steel!" Using Water Shift, he turned the water surrounding his sword as hard as steel while still in a liquid state. He kept slashing at Lily who kept dodging until she was in the middle of the fog. The mist got thicker and less thick in some areas, taking the shape of spikes, heading straight toward Lily, successfuly hitting her this time.

Switching to Wind Form, Sean took some distance. Sean: "Wind Element - Razor Twister!" Waving both hands inward, he sent a vertical twister toward Lily. She blocked it with pillars of vines which were cut to shreds. She trapped Sean in a dome of vines, with huge needles being launched at him from all directions. Even with heightened senses, he could not dodge them. Sean: "Wind Element - Sonic Blast!" He clapped both hands, generating a devastating soundwave that destroyed the dome. However, Lily planned for this and used illusions to create images of herself. Sean: "Sky Blade!" He did an impressive jump while slashing vertically, when at Lily's level, he did a somersault while striking her, sending her plummeting toward the ground; he used his heightened hearing to locate the sound of her wings. Sean finished by slashing again right after he landed, but Lily dodged. Taking advantage that Sean was vulnerable, she blowed incapacitating spores at his face, causing him to cough heavily and with difficulty. Lily wouldn't let him use Levitate to escape by using this trick.

Despite having difficulty breathing, Sean managed to switch to Earth Form. He decided to use Terra Blessing which allows him to use the terrain as his weapon. Sean: "Terra Blessing!" The given effect was a leafy twister passing by, which blew away the spores and blurred Lily's vision temporarely. After the cloud had dissipated, Sean was bleeding a little from everywhere, those spores were damaging him along the way. Sean: "Earth Element - Crystal Crossfire!" Four crystals began to spin around Lily, stopping from time to time to fire a blast of Earth Elemental Magic. They followed her for a bit before disappearing, she got one only at the last blast. Sean: "Earth Element - Earth Spikes!" Sean punched the ground with the exact same strength of an average giant Naga, which was more than the usual level uses in this form. Deadly spikes of hardened soil sprouted while heading toward Lily's direction. She barely dodged them. Sean planted his sword in the ground. Sean: "Iron Edge!" He jumped while slashing vertically at the same time he uprooted his weapon, sending a metal blade shaped like a shark's dorsal fin. She once again barely dodged, and decided to increase her strength and activate a magic armor. Both dashed and collided, holding each others hands like wrestlers. Lily made a vine trip Sean and did a palm strike at his ribcage, pinning Sean to the ground.

Sean switched to Lightning Form, but his ability Hacking was useless for this battle. He simply grabbed Lily's arm. Sean: "Lightning Element - Volt Discharge!" He electified his body and using his arms, electrocuted Lily as well who let go. Sean got up, touching his chest, his heart suffered a bit. Sean: *thinking* "That was close... another hit like that could kill me." Sean: "Lightning Element - Magnet Rise!" Stones attracted to magnets rose, Sean used electro-magnetism to position them like a spear head and launched them toward Lily, who simply dodged. She once again tried to pin him somewhere, but Sean simply ran away at incredible speed, before coming back and striking her before she knew what it her. Sean continued his hit-and-run tactic in order to weaken her armor. "Thunder Stab!" His sword turned into pure electricity and extended very far once the stab was performed, destroying Lily's armor, but she increased her resistance, weakening the blow. She started to tire though.

Sean needed to recover, so he switched to Ice Form to reduce damage inflicted. He used Pain Killer to lift the pain at his chest. Lily once sent a vicious vine, whipping Sean head-on. But with his increased resistance, he didn't flinch and caught the vine. "Ice Element - Frost Blast!" He fired a sub-zero blast which froze the vines and nearly hit Lily. Sean jumped over Lily. Sean: "Ice Skewer!" His sword turned into a massive icicle, plummeting downward, it wasn't the actual sword that hit her, but the flying ice shards after Sean landed. Sean: "Ice Element - Ice Wave!" He punched the ground, sending an ice wave. Her feet got frozen solid. She then decided to ingrain vines from her body so they could absorb nutriments from the ground, allowing Lily to recover.

Sean used his Wood Form, this time his target were the vines. Since natural Cure only works for things such as poison, he was on his own again. He attempted dashing at Lily, but fell due to his chest wound. Sean: "Wood Element - Wood Arrows!" Branches from the nearby trees chucked themselves at Lily's vines, pointy headed. Despite being stationary, Lily still had vines come to impale Sean and some to trip him as well. He couldn't dodge all of them. He still got up despite his wounds and rushed toward the ingrained vines. "Bamboo Sword!" He managed to cut one vine by turning the edges of his sword the same as cut bamboo. Sean: "Wood Element - Lea- Arrgh!" Sean spat blood at the ground, when he saw it, he was terrified as he is usually hemophobic. He closed his eyes shut and looked away, weakely got up and looked at his target. Sean: "Wood Element - Leaf Cutter!" A storm of razor sharp leaves headed straigth toward the remaining vines. Sadly, Sean is almost at his limits while Lily is more energized.

But Sean is stubborn, so he switched to Light Form. He clapped both hands. "Mind Flash!" A blinding flash of light blinded Lily. Nothing happened, suddenly she started acting weird, sometime striking in the void or ramming in an obstacle. Sean used Status Flash, which can temporarely disable his opponent or help himself. Sean took out his blade and rushed at Lily, she regained her senses and would almost have impaled Sean, but as she was about stabbing him... Sean rolled behind her. "Holy Slash!" He struck her with a glowing blade, slightly recovering since it was still noon. She attempted making him trip, but he jumped out of the way, nearly crashing at his fall, using his heightened intelligence to anticipate her moves. Sean: "Light Element - Light Beam!" He wave his right hand in a sweeping motion with a beam of light sweeping the aera as well. Sean: "Light Element - Flash Destroyer!" Another flash of light followed, this time a damaging one. Sean once again used a double-edge and was now at his limit.

Not willing to give up, he changed to Shadow form. He didn't have enough energy left to dodge any incoming attack. Lily: "What's wrong, can't move very well?" He didn't take that insult, so he got up and again overexerted himself. Sean saw that Lily was near shadows luckily. Sean: "Night Slash!" He disappeared, then reappeared behind Lily "out of shadows" and slashed her with his now black sword, but the hit was weak. Sean: "Shadow Element - Shadow Claw!" His shadow stretched in the shape of a clawed hand, again slashing Lily this time with more power than expected with his battered up condition. Not amused, Lily tried impaling him, but Sean used Ghost Form, turning into a ghost and evading the attack. It didn't hold for very long. Sean: *thinking* "I gotta end this." Sean: "Shadow Element - Black Wind!" A damaging black wind came in, damaging everyone in the process. Sean reverted to Neutral Form, but he and Lily were on their knees hyperventilating. Suddenly, he only saw black and nothing else, what about Lily?

I don't think I'll make another full fight part, it's really tiring, another novice mistake. Honestly, I'm not too proud of that part. I'm sure I wrote myself in a corner.

This concludes the first arc. I'm gonna continue the second arc in another thread with another name, but it will still be Chapter 5. Until Sean will reach his destination in the second arc, most events are in-betweens and will be a bit more comedic while still retaining lots of action. I started well, but with the conclusion, I started flinching. So it will be better if I continue from a different angle. I will try to make Sean look like an ordinary teen with special powers and not an idol. The first arc was mostly to introduce what was essential about him, it was the meat and from the second arc onward, what will be revealed about him will be the seasoning. (makes me hungry) Oh, and there will be MOAR vore, and no full sequence fights that was really awkward and I consider myself lucky I didn't ended it in an abomination. There will still be peoples who will continue thinking of using him as a way to tame the predators, but those are simply background information, it may still be mentioned in a chapter, but it's of no significance.

From now on, I'm introducing other OCs. In chapter 5, you will meet Kay, The Elemental Knight chosen 2500 years prior to Sean who is a complete asshole and Véronique, a Mist Fairy and a cousin of Lily who gets infatuated by every cute guys she sees, in other words mid, late teens and early, mid twenties. Yes she is infatuated with Sean, but it's one-sided as Sean never was a dominant male, more someone who looks for a happy medium and he feels uneasy when she flirts him. From the next chapter onward, Sean will make use of his musical ability to sing flawlessly. Don't worry, it's known songs like DragonForce and others, not made up songs. Don't worry, it will be interesting.

I can just hope you liked the first arc despite the clunky finale and that you will look forward for my next stories which I hope, will be better.

An overview of the second arc:

Sean meets Kay, the Twilight Knight chosen 2500 years prior to him. He informs Sean that he must proves himself by reforging his sword with a legendary metal as it is mere steel right now. He gives Sean a map of this region and points him toward the Mysterious Temple. After a couple of (mis)adventures, Sean reaches the temple, but an incident forcefully unlocks one of his latent abilities prematurely. He was stopped, but he won't be able to control his ability until it matures. Once in the temple, he was lucky to find the ore he was looking for not very deep in the tomb. His sword his reforged and makes a shield with the extra ore he had. His trial complete, he goes on a personal quest, one that took roots twelve years ago.

I just think the fight of the last chapter was a bit lacking in rythm.. It was action/reaction action/reaction action/reaction and it removed a bit of the thrill in my opinion ..

Yeah I admit I'm not proud of that one, there will still be more fights, but not as long. I got overexcited when I thought of making one long fighting sequence, but I blew it up. I'm using Katrika and Tanya for the next chapter, I already got Zoekin's approval.

There's just so many stories you guys made, I feel like I have no chance competing with you guys.
