| The idea of a smaller harpy works, but the nature of many carnivorous creatures on Felarya means there isn't usually much left to eat. | |

| I cheched the wiki there preds of vearing size and erbovores that can be as big as som prediters and there is named a buterfly that eats corpseies so that showes that not all preads are giant or masive monster that swallow pray whole and that there are corspes and carcuses lying on the ground. It also said there are places that the healing magic is weeker then in others so wounds can be fatle so when preds that have to kill there pray fight over food, or preds fight over hunting grounds some can and do die leaving a corspe for scavingers. | |

| Its not a bad idea. Maybe instead of eating leftovers, they simply wait for people to die in the elements. Like in the desert for example, these Harpies can sabotage travellers by wrecking their vehicles or stealing their food and water, then wait nearby for them to die of thirst.
Another idea is making them bigger than human size, like around 20ft tall. Maybe then they could gulp a human down and instead of ripping them appart. They would only be big enough to swallow a human, and only one human. That will probably be big enough to eat the remains of giant preds too.
That's just my two cents. Take it or leave it.

| If we make then 20ft, what are they gonna mate with? I say make them have a height range of about 9 to 12 feet. That way they can still mate with humans and other human size humanoids but have a slight size advantage, not to mention that it's still possible for them to eat tinies at this size. >_> | |

| We can only offer advice. What you do with your story is your decision, no matter how many object. As long as its entertaining people should enjoy it, even if you got Harpies in spacesuits.
Hmmmm. Harpies in space... something to ponder.

| I don't see why you couldn't make a crossover. It just depends on how much you care what others think.
The main thing that is stifling my creativity right now is I'm trying to stay within the set rules of the Felaryan world. I'm only doing that because I want these characters and their stories to be seen by others as viable.
If I didn't care about that, I would have Street Fighter characters coming to Felarya and getting chomped on by Belletia, and I would have a blast doing it.

| Indeed, both of you show wisdom by choosing to adhere to the setting.
I look at it this way: If you're going to break the rules of the world, why use the world in the first place?
..But we're getting off topic here.
About carrion harpies, I imagine crow or vulture type harpies. Or were you thinking of something else?

| Thats right i was thing bothand other depending on the regan. My story takes place out in Lamina, Ivokan savanna, and the Akaptor desert. So im going to use Vulture looking Carrion harpies. But i could see ravens and crows looking ones in other parts and they would probale travel in flocks | |
