Felaryan Doomsdays

Okay, ya know how we on Earth are constantly speculating about how our world will end? Well, I decided it'd be fun if we discussed various Felaryan doomsdays that the denizens might believe/create. Be it realistic or totally silly, I think this'd be a fun exercise for us, right? :3

Be creative. We aren't speculating Felarya's actual eventual end, if it has one, but just coming up with fun possibilities. o:

Example Scenerio:

It can be something a Felaryan scientist might hypothesize, like:

"Some believe that as Felarya ages, the dimension it inhabits will begin to crumble. At first, small patches will appear as solid blackness, but soon, it will be entire areas, and eventually, all of Felarya will decay into nothingness."

Or it can be silly, like... I can't think of anything, sorry D:

"In the void between planes, they have waited. They have waited for many millennia and will continue to wait for many more.

They suffered greatly during the great war when they invaded, yet managed to do what was thought impossible... slay a guardian.

Not one but several of these ancient beings fell, shattering these their confidence in their own indelible existence. When their own constructs, the titans, turned on them, their end seemed near, yet the invaders retreated for unknown reasons, despite a potential victory being on hand. However, they left their mark. The guardians became overly watchful of the races that inhabited the world they created, fearing that one or more of them could one day rise up against them. Thus they intervene whenever one should become to powerful, less they come under threat once again. The invaders meanwhile became but a faint memory, and were believed to be extinct. They weren't.

They waited, licking their wounds and rebuilding their numbers beyond the sight of their mortal enemies. When the end of days in Felarya occurs - when the seas boil, the sky darkens, the ground quakes and the great predators are conquered... when mere mortals slay a guardian - they will return. Their numbers will darken the skies, their hordes will annihilate all that lay before them, and all that is in error with their view on existence will be destroyed.

But for now we are safe, for now they still wait... but not forever. One day they will return, one day the Correctors will come again."

That's silly.

Any smart man can tell you what the real threat is. We dodged this bullet once before... but its only a matter of time.

They are everywhere, just watching.

Those damned squirrels. Sitting there with their beady little eyes. Just watching. Right now their numbers are too small.. but I'm certain they are collecting nuts to power a horrible new spell using.... um... nut-magic! And then they will open a massive portal! And all the squirrels in the universe will emerge and eat everything and everyone! No one is safe!

Of course, we can put an end to this. I am putting together an elite squadron of demonhunters. We will kill every last furry bastard.

But to do that, we need funding! So that is why I really need you to lend me 50 skevol. It's for saving the world!

Humankind finds a means to deal with the predators or any other entities that might stand in their way. They rape the land and leave Felarya a horrible wasteland incapable of supporting life as they are presently doing in other worlds.

I agree with gt500x. Humans may be small, but hate can move mountains. One day the humans in Negav will reach critical mass and will burn Felarya to the ground in an unstoppable wave of destruction.

that kind of pisses me off. i'm not going to say its just humans. but rather a coalition of people with the same interest (a large nation) that will eventually like to conquer the place, or even worse, a rouge guardian leading such a force. making it rather the darkest of days rather than a dooms day. doesn't mean there won't be opposition though.

A series of wormholes and interdimensianal doors are smashed as a lump of rock 300 miles across comes hurtling towards Felarya.

Felaryas only hope is to build a rocket and send a small group of miners to mine it hollow before it reaches it's destination.

The doom of Felarya is already foretold. One day, the Creator, the great divinity that controls the "canon" of the world, will pass from this world. And when such happens, the lands will stagnate. Naught will change, all will be frozen in its final stage.

They grew in power. The Predator Trinity ascended to a higher position, new Trinities were founded, and they too grew. In the end, there was little the mortals could do to stop them - it took all the Guardians' power to slow their drive. By the end of the millenia, the Predators had scoured the surface of Felarya of all "civilized" life. Within a century, everything began to crumble. Friendships broke as Predator competed with Predator over anything that could even arguably be described as "Prey". Many Predators fled through the scattered gates across the land to find greener pastures. Some, divinely backed by the trinity, were put into a sleep to wait out the long years before life would return once more to the lands. In the end, after a skyrocketing of Predator populations and worship, Felarya was a realm with naught but the chittering of tiny insects and birds, a graveyard of Predators too stubborn to leave after the orgy of consumption and ruined cities brought down by the gods themselves.

With Felarya connecting to many universes and sometimes stealing parts of those universes, eventually it is going to get so big that it actually collapses in on itself forming a black hole, killing everything that is alive in Felarya at the time, as well as destroying whatever world its connected to at that time.

Due to the unstable elements of Felarya time paradox insues as a predator unwittingly stops herself from eating a human in the future causing a callopse of every universe that ever existed.

But more likely is some one on Felary realise that they can git to the moon by salvaging the tech from advanced world then all the smart pray races leave the planet for floating space colonies and use large sat-weapons to dominate and control the giant preds that once hunted them, making them slave labor to mine and work the fields as the former pray turned master live in space dominating them forever out of reach.

I gotta take a crack at this.

Physicist 1: "Eventually, the miraculous regulation of the Felaryan realm that causes it to connect to temperate worlds will fail, either connecting the realm to empty vacuum, or a source of gravity so great it would tear Felarya apart."

Physicist 2: "The calm eddy within the rushing folds of spacetime in which Felarya exists will eventually collapse."

You know its not just ze squirrels we have to watch out for. I also heard they were in league with Negavian tinnies, Mausu, and a group of... intelligent GLOUTEUX! Yes, that is right, their stupidity a ruse for us to lower our guards so when ze little micey people finally achieve toppling ze Isolon Eye, wave upon wave of giant fowl will attack ze city walls until ze Vishmital weaponry has used up all their munitions (or until ze vast amount of glouteux bodies topple over ze wall and smash ze big giant guns) and after that we will have ze little furballs scurrying about in our pants!

The combined, rampant vore and gluttony from all predatory creatures in Felarya will eventually congeal and, thanks to the magic in the ambient, manifest itself physically as an impossibly gargantuan female being that will devour the world to the last particle

One day, a tiny shall come to Felarya. He shall look around him, and see his fellow tinies abusedand being easten by the larger beings of Felarya. And he shall not be pleased, and will lead his tiny brethren into REVOLUTION!! AND HE SHALL CAST DOWN THE ORDER OF TINY OPPRESSION AND FREE TINIES EVERYWHERE FROM THE TYRANNY OF NEKOS!!
