Character Discussion Thread

In this thread, you can discuss about everyone's personal characters. You can use it to add some miscelaneous details about them, to state your opinions, to ask questions or to simply discuss about them. To a lesser extent, you can suggest some slight modifications, but in the likes as having more personality if you find him undeveloped or to tell him to tone down his powers a bit if you find him to be overpowered.

Do NOT in any case suggest big changes such as getting a scar near his eyes, anything that involves appearance or abilities are considered flaming and will not be tolerated, same goes for personality, suggest something neutral; in the same exemple that I used, if you feel that he lacks personality, tell him to develop it more instead of telling him to have a impish personality. Personal characters are the property of its respective users, telling him to change this in favor of that is like saying out loud "You suck at making characters and will always suck." right in their face. If you have time to criticize someone's character, you could have used that same time to make the same one with your aspects. Point of view is to be kept neutral while suggesting changes, this is not a place to criticize anything. You can use this place to ask for advices, but the advices you give must be from a neutral point of view.

This is not a place to post biographies, those goes in the character Bio thread, this place is about discussion.

Furthermore, you can use this place to announce that you will add a new character in your stories. Though you could ask the owner via PMs for questions, this is to prevent flooding their inbox if many new questions come in mind and to make some specifications public. So discuss.

Personaly I like most of them, but i'm having some trouble with Mabon. Any sugestions?

I looked at wikipedia and I found out what are the persons Sean despise: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisocial_personality_disorder They are Sociopaths. But just for the sake of the story, he'll continue to refer them as Heartless.

Oh okay I was confused, since she has included only Neikos and Elves that she wants to eat in her story. At least the chapters I have read so far :p

Mike, sorry to saythis, but I find your char a wee bit... sue-ish. 9-Tail Naruto was suppossed to be among the most powerful in the series. You're 16, extremely skilled, the last of a whole village, you could make nearly 1500 Clones in one day if you wanted, etc.

The 'lose control' drawback is rarely an actual drawback, as often times a character who lost control magically regains it and calms before striking one they care about, can control it eventually, etc. Rarely will you see someone who 'can't control their power' turn and slaughter any comrades (And if the comrade is slain, they were often just introduced a chapter ago for that very reason).

As always, I am a total feth of a critic. If others agree, maybe a problem. Otherwise, keep it that way. I find trouble in nearly everything.

Well, I'm in a rp group that allows this. besides, I can't be sued if I don't use my character for personal gain, i.e. making a series about him and publishing him. Heck, you think my guy's bad? I kno one dude at school that has a character who can summon a 1,000 tailed wolf. And, my character can only summon up to 500 clones using the Tajuu Kage Bunshin no jutsu, not 1,500 lol

Oh, and honestly, my character isn't as powerfull as you say he is with all the skills he posesses. The number of skills I have on there are the total number a normal Jounin would know, which my character is.

Don't multiple post, use the edit function. Originally, Sean was supposed to have an uncontrolable dark side, but I changed it for repressed hatred that becomes a separate personality, all it does is make Sean kills what he despise the most on sight, he is fully conscious and he doesn't gain new power, he simply do something he wouldn't dare before.

I don't know how she does that as I've yet to read her story, and I don't think I want to know how. I can only imagine it being more insane than being forced to listen to Anko talk non-stop for 14 hours straight.

Actually, I agree. Before making a Felarya version of my OC, I made a Naruto version, but he was more modled on my OC than the Naruto cast. He has his own personality, skills, Bloodline Limit is the Elemental powers, and he is the first who thought of a new way of fighting: Kenjutsu (sword technique), it combines Ninjutsu with skills at sword fighting, creating interesting attacks. On his own, he is good, but the other Genins (before Shippuuden) outclass him in at least one area; he is good, but has nothing impressive. If you are interested about him mike, you can PM me and I can tell you about him. But as long as I'm on Felarya, I'm using the Felarya version.

I was right gwadahunter2222, twilight is the time between light and dark. Proof So when I associated the perfect balance between light and dark as twilight, I wasn't absolutely wrong. So Sean's sub-title would be Twilight Knight.
