| Name: The insect curse Threat: Special Discription: This is a rare type of parasitic fauna found mostly in Felarya and a few other worlds. It is called the insect curse because thats what it is a curse, the effects of it are extremly disgusting and gross but not lethal. When someone is given this curse they start to notice rashes devolping on them, mostly they're torso, arms and legs. Then after a few more days they devolpe a tempture which is very odd in felayra but it's not caused by a sickness, it's called by small spider/worm like creatures crawling under the hosts flesh. This is very sicking yes but not lethal and it is possible to have these for along time without any real damage besides mild blood loss and possibly throwing up.
There is a way of getting rid of the curse, to do so you must pass it on. First you have to extract one of the insects which surpisingly isn't painful, the insects though causing disgusting effects leak sort of a painkiller which some deem useful though few would want to suffer the other more grotesque effects. After extracting the insect you must cut it open and put some of it's blood on something ediable, a fruit or something else that can be eaten raw because if the blood is cooked it loses it's affects. The last step is finding some poor hungry sap and offer them the food, once they eat it your symtoms will go away and theres will start.

| Well, I'll admit that it's very unique, and original.
The one thing I don't like is that there is no physical medicine to remedy it, but rather you have to "ritual" it away.
(get what I'm saying?) | |

(get what I'm saying?) Thank you and thats cause it's a magical curse and removing it physicaly won't work though there is one thing that will get rid of the curse and that is certain predators stomach acid, not a highly recomended cure though. ((those predators would be Hornet girls, toritons and most felaryan insects who are mostly immune to magic))

| Oh. A magical illness, eh?
I guess that validates it then, since magic is trickier than the common cold.

| It must be especially humiliating for a dridder to have this curse. | |

Eh, I could almost see them being rather entertained or fascinated by it.

| It certainly would be ironic.
come to think of it, is this curse related to dridders in any way?

| Nice and creepy, I can even imagine someone who doesn't know what's going on trying to cut out the parasites, boy what fun that would be. | |

| Oh yeah, what happens if you smash the parasite with a hammer while it's still inside a body, either your own or someone else? | |

come to think of it, is this curse related to dridders in any way? Hmm I'm debating abit on that, it seems to cliche. I prefer the idea that it's a curse that can be inflected upon you if you eat a certain type of fruit that grows within that one temple place that Anko guards well past the bridge she guards X_x sorry I can't remember the name and I'm to lazy to go look it up

The little insects would turn to dust upon being cut out, be reformed due to the curse, stick out of the idiots skin whom is now in pain for cutting himself open and probably blow a raspberry at him then burrow back in. Lol a curse with an sense of morbid humor.

I wonder why no explorer gave it a name yet?

Doesn't harm it, and it'll probably also stick out of your skin and blow a raspberry at you, Also the other person and yourself would be in pain due to the fact that you just got hit or hit someone else with a hammer.
