| Hello all,
With all the discussion on Felaryan Unification I wanted to bring forward my project that I started on to get all of your opinions and let you know that I've got something that might help.
I am presently writing a PHP/MySQL website that allows people to submit the links to their stories to the database and they can be sorted by Author and Character.
So instead of meandering about trying to find stuff I can simply go to the Great Felaryan Library, choose French Snack's Milly as the character I am interested in and every story that is filed under her name is made available to me instantly.
The system is also being written that when a new author registers to the sight his name is automatically added to the database to be made available.
This is my hope that we can have one central area with all Felaryan stories that can be modified and added to with no issue. Let me know what you think. I should have the bare bones prototype up on my personal server for you all to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

| I already saw that, but I can't write ActionScript3. PHP/MySQL are my specialities at the moment. What I'll do is start learning it when I get back from my deployment, but leave the PHP frontend until it's done. | |

| And I can't write PHP. I can make a frontend, but I can't make the back. | |

| May I make a suggestion?
Instead of just character and author, perhaps you could give each story a other tags, like the location in Felarya, the types of races that appear, and whether or not it contains vore, to name a few.

| This idea, it's basically what I was trying to do with flash for Characters. I reckon that we could combine our ideas and just do both in one. Flash can provide a nice frontend with additional functionality while PHP & mySQL and provide somewhere to actually store the links and all that properly. | |

| I'm willing to write the backend code as best as I can if ya want to take on the flash side of it. That is a great suggestion also with the different tags, though they would need to be set by the one submitting the story. With flash though, it could come down that if you choose a pre-existing character, the location and stuff is auto-filled. The non, light, medium, and heavy vore suggestion is good though I think we would need a standard rule of what classifies as what, since one person's light vore could be a medium to heavy for someone else. Get a standard like movie ratings. | |

| I guess there would be...
No vore - self-explanatory
Little vore - Vore happens, but the author doesn't go into detail; just a brief mention of someone getting eaten
Medium vore - Vore happens, and the process is laid out, but not really described in detail.
High vore - Vore happens, and every single detail is laid out by the author, every drop of saliva and every rippling muscle is mentioned.
Too high vore - Pretty much porn.

| That's a pretty good layout explanation. | |

| You know, at this rate...eventually felarya will get to the point where we'll need a custom wiki/wikia website just to contain all out stuff. With of course important sections like AJ and Jon's projects. I know such an installment is still in the future though. I know some basic html. I'm trying to get into an "action scripting with flash" class currently, but my local college cut the class. AGAIN.
once I take that class I'll be good to go in helping you guys out with that stuff.
