| You know, with all those nekos and inus and harpies and stuff, I get thinking about how different nekos are from both cats and humans. Obviously, they're more different from cats than humans. Same with inus, same with nagas... and then my head gives me this weird thought.
Say a person were to get warped to Felarya with their cat. We could blame the hybrids on different species getting conjoined midway through the disturbance which just happens to sprain the chakras in the waist for some reason, but today I wanted to talk about something other than the origin of species. I want to know, do you think the cat would improve their odds of survival much? How 'bout a bloodhound, a miniature pig, a bear, or a parrot? How 'bout your favourite animal? Animals have all sorts of strange abilities we can't even think of in some cases, there's got to be story potential hidden there somewhere.
So I wanted to ask... if you got warped into Felarya and could bring one animal that WILL work together with you, which one would you pick and why? And of course, what fun situations can you think of?

| Definitely a trained bear, because having one of those would be cool. | |

| I would worry if that was the origin of some species. Imagine being warped to Felarya while carrying a tank of fish and ending up standing in the middle of a jungle with gills! I would imagine they offer some advantage over the human, even if it's just their more primal instincts help people fare better in such a primitive world as Felarya. You stand there thinking too much and you're going to get eaten. For that reason I'd probably go for some sort of rat, or some sort of ferret. Okay, maybe it's not the nicest creature to get spliced with, but those hypersensitive senses, sharp teeth, agility and insane running speeds are going to come in handy | |

| Single animal that'll work with me?
Greater Catachan Barking Toad. We're already screwed, might as well go out in style. Failing that, a loyal Vorpal Bunny should do the trick for at least a short while.
