| I'd just like to know how you feel with some place names being changed ? for instance : the Great marshes or Great rocky fields which sound really quite generic I think ^^; | |

| I think they could use a better name, yes, since neither are really indicative of their main "gimmick", for a lack of a better word. The Great Marshes, to me, are known for the thick fog blanketing the upper area, while the Great Rocky Field is better known for its rainless thunderstorms. I think these should be given more emphasis when coming up for a new name. Sadly, I am terrible at naming things, and Thunder Plains is already taken. | |

| I can't say I'd mind either. If I may make a suggestion off the top of my head, "Fulgur Fields" has a nice ring to it. :3 But it might be a little unoriginal. Take it or leave it. | |

| I for one would support some changes. You told me the Imoreith Tundra wasn't a tundra, so we could call it the Imoreith Range, the Imoreith Wasteland, the Imoreith Crags...
You already have Ixtapalapa, the Second Sky, for the Great Marshes. Could work.
As for the Great Rocky Fields... I liked the Rocky fields. But if you wanna change the name, Lighthouse worked for Catatumbo. Maybe you could call the GRF's the Lighthouse.
Here's to hoping that helps.

| Hmm... Ixtapalapa Marsh might work, although I'd shorten to something that rolls off the tongue a little better, Ixtapa Marsh. As for the rocky field, I'm still not sure. The trend seems to be to use a made-up word and whatever the local is, so it would be like, I dunno, Yavax Field or Ivolt Field, something like that.
Just to make a mention to the Imoreith Tundra, I'm pretty sure Tundra is merely used as a shorthand to say that it's a cold region in that specific case.

| Great Pocky Field - Hm, delicious.
I think there is nothing wrong with the name being genretic. Those simple names often gives a straight-forward description about landscape or things, instead of going around trying to be mysterious with some tongue-twisting names. Misty Mountain in The Hobbit, for example ^^

| I quite like it the way it is and TK has a point. Plus, there are real world examples of this. "The Grand Canyon" is one. | |

| Alright we will keep the Great rocky fields then For now I just changed the Great marshes to Ixtapal marshes. Stabs : for the tundra you are right indeed, it's really not a tundra at all ^^; | |

| I don't care too much about places but there's a race that I think deserves a different name and that's the Cheprys, I don't think it's even a real word, I think they should be called Fawns | |

| I personaly don't see any need to change any names unless you are ready to make a new map with updated all of the new locations. Such as a pucture of Torin City,Izatem,Murmer Tavern and Thorn Lodge. Maybe even Kurlem's future site just so we don't to cone back to it latter. Also Tina's, Kaylan's pics added to the Jungle of Perils. | |

| I second Jedi's motion! New map with the new stuff! For example you forgot "Forget-me-not Island" on the first one, ironically. | |

| Well I supose all the Topizial Islands deserve a name but it would be too many letters for such a small area. | |

| We can just give them really short names, like A, B, C, and D. | |

| That could work but it'd look a little weird compared to everywhere else and there's more than A B C and D. I think there's six. | |

| I meant the map could exist as some kind of web thingy where people who are signed up (on the forum or something) can add their own places and the map shows all the locations people have made. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crowdsourcing) | |

| It's not a bad idea but, as it happens with things that a lot of people can change or add to, it may get a bit crowded with unofficial locations. If I may suggest some possible solutions, I would add a button that hides every non-official location except the ones you've added yourself (only logged-in users, of course, otherwise it hides every non-official location, leaving only Karbo's ones visible).
I would also limit the addition of locations to places that are featured in an already existent story/comic/whatever. That way you'd avoid people adding locations that have appeared only in roleplay or that have been planned by a writer but still does not have real accounts of its existence in stories. The adder would have to provide a link to the story, but that would mean that someone has to check those links.
