AppearanceOriginating from the House Zarlemi, Onyxia is an inhabitant of Hell. Her appearance is that of a 69 feet large succubus demon, featuring a mostly human body with the addition of demon wings, horns and a tail.
Onyxias skin is of a chocolate brown pigmentation, giving her a mediterran, tanned look. Her hair is anthracite, and hangs wild and untamed from her head, reaching slightly more than halfway down her back. Onyxia's face is particularly soft, featuring a small nose, a petite mouth and large eyes, perfectly adjusted to look appealing to a majority of potential victims. Her eyes show the common yellow iris and slitted pupils, but they are surrounded by volumous eyelashes for which one would usually need a lot of mascara to achieve similar results. Above, the succubus features thin, sensual eyebrows and a moderately sized forehead. Lastly, a pair of horns speaks true about her demonic heritage. They grow in overlapping segments, and sprout from the sides of her head, slightly above her ears pointing forward and upwards in a gentle curve. While not particularly suitable for combat due to their hand sized length, they can still be used as natural weapons in a pinch as their structure is comparatively hard and pointy.
Onyxias Head rests on a slender neck, before her body widens to accomodate her soft, round shoulders. These shoulders end in untrained looking, female arms, sporting large hands with long, dexterous fingers. Her torso continues with a pair of pretty volumptous breasts and a flat stomach, which greatly emphazises her ribcage and midriff. Beneath her belly Onyxias hips widen pretty much, showing off her shaved crotch, ample butt and decent thighs. Onyxias legs help to accentuate her curved shapes and lastly connect to her flawless feet ending in long toes. Her entire skin is dotted with sweat glands, able to produce a large amounts of intensely odorous sweat in a short time if she so desires, both to make use of her arousing pheromones and to keep her skin slick and moist.
Sprouting from her shoulderblades, Onyxia posesses a pair of black wings, whose fingers are connected by a large, reddish-brown membrane, enabling her to glide across short distances. If needed, however, Onyxia is capable of directing more matter to her wings, greatly increasing her wingspan and thus, her ability to fly, to the point where she can fly and glide just like a harpy with giant wings.
Lastly, from the end of her spine sprouts a boneless, highly flexible tail. Being also black in colour, it is made nearly entirely of muscle tissue, granting it considerable strength. The end of her tail is split into three segments surrounding a toothless, gaping maw. When closed, the maw is completely shut and nearly invisible, however, when they open, the drooling entrance to a fleshy, anthracite gullet becomes visible. The inside of her tail features a tube similar to an esophagus, being highly resistant while strong enough to force anything down its length that is unfortunate enough to end up there. Just like with her wings, Onyxia is perfectly capable of increasing the size of her tail, allowing it to stretch and accomodate even similarly sized victims within its maw.
It is worth mentioning, that Onyxias ability to mend and shape flesh allows her to adapt her appearance to a certain degree. While it doesnt give her the ability to drastically change her looks, Onyxia, given she has access to a sufficient amount of biomatter, is capable of adapting her size (up to her maximum of 69 feet) or adjusting body proportions to look more appealing to a specific victim. The flesh in question appears like a gooey black liquid, oil like in appearance, but a relatively dense and thick slime in shape and touch.
PersonalityOnyxia is a rather laid-back being. Unlike many other demons, she is not - that - evil, as Onyxia cares mostly only about her personal pleasure and little beyond that. Being a low-to medium rank demon she does her job as a living prison, but with it being a pretty effortless profession, she has lots of time for herself. Being a succubus, Onyxia mostly feeds on mortal lust and sex in general, making that her primary interest when it comes to entertaining herself or her masters.
While being somewhat submissive to those in command of her, Onyxia's demeanor is highly dominant towards those below her, particularly her victims and prisoners. Being an opportunist at heart, she knows very well who is in charge most of the time, adapting to improve her position within the house and her place in the world in general. As Onyxia is not particularly powerful, she relies on the protection of those stronger than her in exchange for her services, but she does have a certain pride and is willing to refuse an order; even if it means for her to be punished, if someone tries to make her do something against her will.
Having a lot of free time in her life, Onyxia is known to get bored rather quickly, and is known to roam around hell and the mortal planes a lot. She has particularly grown fond of Felarya, due to the large amount of biomatter, as well as the vast pool of potential lovers and victims to choose from, sporting all kinds of species and sizes. Thus, Onyxia regularly frequents felarya, even though sightings of her are pretty limited as she will often hide her demonic features, and she is prone to leave a trail of missing people behind, as she indulges in mating and consuming those she manages to attract.
When dealing with potential prey, Onyxia acts very alluring and seductive, showing great affection to both the act in itself but also the victim. She often intends to make a meeting with her the most pleasant, exciting, and - last - encounter of their life. If her prey is willing, Onyxia actually puts great care into making the consumption as sexy and arousing as possible and promises her new prisoner to be among her favourites, since they pose the highest entertainment value - and use.
Onyxia craves appreciation and worship, and demands it of those she wields power over. She is willing to make souls suffer just for her to feel powerful or pleased. While it's not truly about the sadism involved, Onyxia is clearly getting a kick from being in control, up to the point of her deciding over ones life or death, and absolutely loves to see two (or more) beings fighting over the right to please her in any way she deems fit. If she happens to have you in her clutches and is granted free reign over your existance from her superiors, you are subject to her every whim, and she won't think twice about either giving you the greatest time of your life - or killing you on the spot, just because she's in the particular mood.
However, those that are lucky enough to survive, and wise enough to genuinely and wholeheartedly accept Onyxia as their one and only goddess, may not have it so bad. Although rare, Onyxia can become fond of some of her prisoners, granting them special rights, such as allowing them to choose the position of their cell, or even giving them a temporary body, allowing them to leave their prison for a limited time, to either perform labour around her mansion, or to entertain themselves.
Although she denies it, Onyxia is said to even have created a permanent body for her favoured soul once, releasing them from the eternal prison that is bount to her body and granting them a new life. If that is true, it might very well show that Onyxia is actually capable of feeling a strong enough affection to overcome her selfishness, if only for one single soul out of the myriads of fates forever sealed within the confinements of her skin.
Profession and Prisoners
Sometimes, Onyxia is referred to as the eternal prison. Being able to merge and reshape flesh, the succubus is highly capable of absorbing the bodies of other beings. Since their bodies are literally merging with her own, the victims do not die from this process. Instead, Onyxia is able to compress the very core of their existance, their conscience and soul, into the fraction of a singular cell, also called a soulcore. While the physical body of the victim is used to nourish, fuel or even expand Onyxias own form, the sould is completely stripped off of their physical existance safe for that one core, that contains nothing but the victims soul and conscience. As the remains of the victim are to be broken down and digested at a near 100% efficiency, that soulcore enters Onyxias bloodstream and is being transported towards the new prisoner's cell.
A prisoner's Cell is to be taken very literally, as the soul core will be inserted into a cell somewhere on Onyxias body, typically on the surface of her skin, although other places are possible with few exceptions such as her teeth, hair or nails. Onyxia is capable of transforming any cell of her body into a prisoner cell, effectively adding a few components to an existing, normal cell, though for convenience reasons, Onyxia long ago turned her entire skin into suitable prisoner cells.
A Prisoner cell consists of the typical cell as found on a humans skin, however, the soulcore is being added as a second cellcore. Also, the soul core will expand a molecular nerve thread towards the cells membrane, where a node is being created. This node contains an array of extremely tiny, though incredibly accurate senses, being pretty similar to a humans vision, smell, hearing and touch. The Soul core itself can recieve those molecular nerve imputs and process them to a limited degree. In fact, it acts as a rudimentary brain, although the tiny size and limited contains cause the victim to slowly degenerate, loosing most if not all of their memory and intellect over time. Given enough time, even the most determined and powerful soul will simply give up and be forced to accept their fate.
Having nobody to communicate with other than Onyxia herself, being subject to the imput of their limited senses from their exceptionally tiny point of view somewhere on the surface of Onyxias body AND with Onyxias ability to somewhat control hormones that are sent to the cells to induce feelings such as terror, anger or arousal, it is but a matter of time until a prisoner's personality looses their will to exist as an independant being, and accepts being a part of Onyxias body. Their mind is completely overwritten, turned into that of a willing, besotted slave, stupid, yet loyal to a death that will pretty much never be granted.
Being a demon, Onyxia's physical body is just a vessel to her real existance, and thus never ages. Hence, unlike normal cells, Onyxias cells never die due to malfunctions or old age, but they stay healthy as long as her body sustains them with nourishment. Thus, a prisoner can be held for an indefinite amount of time, and even if she were to enter a plane that makes her cells grow old, she can simply relocate her inmate's soulcore to a healthy prisoner cell. Since a soulcore does not contain any DNA and the body is disposed of as nutrience and waste, the termination of a prisoner's old form is absolute. There is no way to restore a prisoner's body other than from memory alone. Thus, prisoners that are to be released, have to be given a new body, either using the soulless hull of a mortal or artificial body. A common sentence Onyxia is supposed to execute are a thousand years of imprisonment, along with the victim being forced to live on inside an artificial golem, effectively sentenced to be a servant to Onyxias masters from then on for all eternity. Being mind broken, with nothing left, not even their own bodies as they serve those they once opposed, this cruesome fate is often enough to secure the houses influence and induce fear in those that care about their own existance.
However, this is naught but the best case scenario. While some of those sentenced for imprisonment are someday to be released, to exist as servants, the vast majority faces an eternal fate as a mere cell on Onyxia's body. Those that have been preyed on by her, by her own will, are usually going to stay inside her for as long as she likes, which is usually for the rest of her life. Onyxia feeds on sexual emotions, and when being aroused, all the souls inside her body are also flooded with endorphines, increasing her pleasure - and power - with an intense tingling all across her body. The souls are her permanent power source, and thus, she rarely lets go of someone.
In order to make those in her posession submit to her whim, she regularly displays her dominance over her prisoners, deciding on a whim the conditions of their pityful existance. She can freely move a prisoner's soul around her body, relocating their soulcore, or even limit the amount of senses or nourishment the prisoner's cell recieves over the course of less than a minute, and doesn't even have to pay much attention to it. To Onyxia, relocating a single cell can be done as casual as moving a toe while walking.
For her entertainment, Onyxia created some "games" for her prisoners to participate in as well. Liquifying part of her body, she can create an arena on the ground, and shape bodies for the prisoners to move about in. Usually, she conveniently avoids giving them legs, confining their movement to the area covered by her liquified flesh. Being able to give the prisoner's any shape, Onyxia indulges in watching her servants perform gladiatory fights, sport events or even theater plays. Participation is mandatory for a chosen soul, and often seen as a chance as Onyxia clearly favours those that entertain her well. Imprisoned souls that are to gain Onyxias liking may not be released, but are granted valuable privilegues and are generally treated better, while those that fail her expectations are doomed to suffer a punishment of some sort. And thus, most souls give it their all to please their host, fighting for the right to be moved into one of her most favoured spots, such as Onyxia's crotch, breasts or rear. Those that fail her, are often bount to be placed in pretty unwanted spots, such as under her armpits or the bottom of her feet, with the greatest loosers being scattered across the inner walls of her colon, doomed to be left forgotten in the most disgusting and humiliating place.
The only escape from being a prisoner, other than being sentenced for only a limited amount of time, is death. However, with no means to perform suicide due to the fact that the prisoners are literally confined to the space of just one cell of a body, this is a near impossible task. Other than the low chance of succeeding during one of Onyxia's games (and the high chance of not succeeding and angering the host) one is dependant on Onyxia to actually recieve physical wounds, resulting in the destruction of one's cell and thus death. IF one is lucky to have his cell being in the very spot that's been hit, that is.
The only other way out is to become utterly worthless to Onyxia. With her colon already being the least favourable spot in her body, most of the mindbroken, empty vessels have been placed there as well. Being a colon by nature, the efficient digestive system squeezes out even the last bit of energy the souls are able to provide her with. Once completely worn out, the cell will simply be shed off, and expelled along with the rest of her waste, limiting their remaining lifespan to what little nutrience is left inside the cell.
Be it through physical harm or defecation, a soulcore that is dieing results in the disappearance of the soul. It simply dies and ceases to exist, making the fate of being eternally bound to Onyxia actually the more preferable one to many fearful prisoners.
Abilities: Onyxia is a succubus, and a succubus at heart at that. She is incredibly skilled at the art of seduction and able to move with unearthy elegance, grace and sex appeal. Her body can easily be considered her most deadly weapon, as her beauty catches one's eye and doesn't intend to let go. Those who are weak enough to fall prey to her promises usually forfeit any chance for rescue, as Onyxia prefers to isolate her victim before preying on them.
Drawing power from both physical absorbtion and sexual emotions, Onyxia has an easy means of replenishing her energy. A common tactic of her is to charm a victim, have sex with them in a discreet location and absorbing their body during the act, when the prey is at their weakest and the arousal at its highest. Most often, the prey is too weak to resist Onyxia's efforts to absorb them, or too distracted to realize what's going on until they are beyond saving. Sometimes, Onyxia even manages to ease particularly submissive prey into the act, with some going as far as to willingly embrace their fate due to their arousal and clouded minds.
Onyxias absorbtion ability usually works by mending her flesh with that of her victim, effectively melting them together, then fusing the bodies while taking control over the foreign form. Overwriting or simply liquifying their muscles and nerves, Onyxia can slowly absorb and convert the victims matter into her own body mass. The process takes a lot of time, usually several hours, though it is accellerated depending on how much of the victims body is covered by Onyxia's body at the same time. Thus, fully enclosing the prey, such as within her stomach or the tail which with its ability to adapt size and flexibility is ideally suited for that task, achieves the quickest results. However, in many cases, Onyxia will start the process during sexual intercourse, beginning the merging sequence on the hips, or with the victims face trapped and absorbed between her enormous breasts.
Since absorbtion is very lengthy, it cannot really be used during combat. Onyxia's only chance to do it is during an extended grapple, such as by entangling a victim with her tail, though at that point she is likely to coil around it and then swallow it head first with its maw in order to bind and absorb the opponent as quickly as possible.
In the unlikely case she intends to help someone rather than devouring them, Onyxia is also able to reshape ones body, to a limited degree, such as restoring a lost limb, adding a new one, or even alter ones size, however, those adjustments take an incredible long time and are not without risk, especially on the mortal planes. Ultimately, the recipients body might reject the addition and try to repel it, the body might refuse to sustain the addition, causing it to necrotize, they might not be in control of the new limb, or they might even die from infections and blood poisoning, depending on species and circumstances of the alteration.
To aid herself in battle, Onyxia is able to liquify her body or parts thereof, similar to a slimegirl. She can turn her flesh into various shapes, including sharp blades, slashing whips or entangling tentacles. Feeding off of sex and dominance, it is very common for Onyxia to tie down, humiliate and rape her victims with those appendixes before consuming her prey. Being able to infuse hormones upon touch, she can overflow ones brain with them, causing artificial feelings such as anger, lust or depression, which further weaken or manipulate her foe.
Onyxia can also use her flesh defensively, such as relocating and harden a lot of it to a part of her body thats about to be hit. However, as the flesh is only as fast as she can move her body, and flesh, no matter how toughened up, remains flesh, her defensive capabilities are very limited and it needs to be utilized preemptively. Since Onyxia can increase or decrease the density of her flesh, she is able to make it quite hard and compact, or loose and voluminous. This allows her to store a lot of flesh in relatively small spaces, effectively more than doubling the amount of matter she can use for combat purposes.
While looking physically weak, Onyxia can swiftly increase the strength and efficiency of her muscles, granting her temporary high strength, even though her endurance remains lacking. Also, while Onyxia can increase her strength, she is lacking actual combat expertise, letting others fight in her place. Onyxia isn't proficient with any weapon, and tends to walk around without any additional protection as to show off her body.
Noteworthy is Onyxia's innate ability to survive being swallowed whole. When swallowed, Onyxia simply has to merge her body with that of the predator that ate her, and as usual perform the absorbtion of the creature. Unless the predator supresses Onyxia's mind, her magic, outright digests her quickly enough, or has any other special means of protection, it is merely a matter of time until she took complete control over the hosts body. This may take up to several days, but eventually Onyxia may emerge victorious and unscathed from a puddle of liquified predator, with a new soul added to her body and lots of flesh to spare for further use. Ironically, this feat makes Felarya one of the safer planes to be in, as the most common threat is to be swallowed whole. However, she remains being threatened by any creature that is not composed of flesh, such as elementals, some aquatic creatures and plants and prefers to not get eaten, if only to keep up her pride.
Lastly, Onyxia has incredible healing capabilities. Restoring even deepest wounds is a matter of seconds as she simply melts them back together, and she can even heal a wound while an enemy weapon is still stuck inside in an attempt to render the weapon useless. This is not entirely without drawbacks though. Onyxia is still able to feel pain, and new limbs take much longer to reform and be controlled naturally than a simple cut. In a mortal realm, she has to be careful about that delay, as a strike against a vital organ may very well cause her death by the time it takes for her to regenerate and regain the organs function. Thus, in a mortal environment, hits to the heart or brain are still as lethal as expected.
Even though the death or destruction of Onyxias physical body doesn't spell the end for her, (she is a demon, thus an incorporeal being whose body is merely a vessel for her to be in, and dieing merely sends her back to the hell realm), the death of her body does result in the death of any souls trapped within if not recovered in time. Loosing them results in a loss of power for Onyxia, leaving her with no magical powers whatsoever in the worst case and forcing her to start pretty much from scratch. In hell, being stripped off of your powers, more often than not can mean certain doom to someone, even to a demon.
In addition to physical combat, Onyxia posesses a mediocre amount of magic. She is capable of telepathy, confusing or tormenting enemies minds with sensory overload, though most of her abilities rely on the manipulation of her flesh across distances, allowing her to command her flesh, usually by embedding an obedient soul into one of her flesh creations, granting them temporary reign over that body, while giving orders via telepathy. Those bodies don't have to be humanly shaped, but they can be tiny spiders, tentacles attached to walls and ceillings, or anything Onyxia can think about, where she prefers simplistic designs in order to save time and ressources, mostly relying on snake-like abberations, that are given hooks, claws or maws to fight with, or grotesque wasp-like creatures, abominations that look like someone crossed an insect with a bat.
If those get destroyed, she does loose merely one soul and a little bit of flesh, but usually Onyxia is easily able to liquify and call back any flesh to remerge with her as long as the soulcore is intact.
Those artificial bodies however do have their limits. Being as simplistic as they can get, they usually lack any senses other than the senses the prisoner's cell is equipped with, leaving them with limited field of vision and no sense of touch at all, which greatly reduces their dexterity. The bodies merely consist of muscles and nerves, lacking any sort of sustenance, which severely limits the amount of time they can act. After leaving her body, those minions often have merely a few minutes to live, until the few nutriences are all used up. While focusing on preserving the souls cell for as long as possible, the bodies quickly become useless and go limb. If not retrieved soon, the soul is left to die in there as well. This leads to onyxia having to recall her minions or act very quickly in order to sustain her powers, while she prefers to avoid extended conflicts if possible. In a pinch, she is likely to be forced to abandon some of her minions, effectively permanently weakening her until she absorbed replacements.
However, with the vast amount of loyal souls and flesh to work with, Onyxia is capable of engaging multiple foes with alternating attack waves of simple, yet highly specialized creatures, sending out a large amount of minions at once to swam the foe from a distance, while recalling weakened minions in order to literally refuel and rearm them - strongly resembling an aircraft carrier.

Also love the balancing in battle so that she's not great at it but can survive non-the-less. Strangely though I feel wronged in one way: Questions. You've robed me of them! XD You answered ever one before I could type it. Makes me a little sad as part of my favorite thing to do when reading a bio is pose questions and help the author develop the character. Well maybe you didn't rob me of one: will she be featured in fics you write?
