Its a downward spiral. Less people replying to posts discourages people from posting because they don't get responses, which causes less people to frequent the forum. I keep reiterating, we need to reply to people's posts, just being active will naturally bring people. That's the way its been, that's the way it will be.

and people arn't replying to people's posts because they think the posts are boring and there's no point providing feedback to people who are set in their ways and are unwilling to do new things.

So... is there even a point to this thread anymore? If the original question was why there is limited activity, it is beacuse of Karbo being away, therefore making the fourm much less fun. Additionally, the lack of comradely also is a negative factor.

Although if you want a fun thread where we post random videos, I can also provide that, as I am quite bored (damn companies not hiring me)

It was never a question, I know why there there is limited activity, furthermore I predicted there would be a severe decline and have even outright said so on Sunday Jan 24, 2016.

Well, anyways I hope everyone is happy, you got what you wanted right? you were allowed to obsess over world building and articles at the expense of genuine creativity. Things were made but not used, for they were never made to be used, they were made just for the sake of it, Out of nerdlike compulsion.

This lull is the result, you got what you wanted.

This thread is merely a reminder of that.

Different people enjoy contributing in different ways. If some enjoy developing world-building ideas "for the sake of it" (as you put it), that's their right. Forcibly channelled and directed creativity would be a non-starter.

Anyway, it does very much seem that this thread has run its course.
