APPEARANCE:
Velzoreg was six when Queen Sineria ascended to the throne. He was 35 when the great city of Ur-Sagol fell.

Now he is old and wizened, and is recognized easily by his outstanding appearance. The giant pit naga has a long white beard down past his hips, braided with armored bands in various areas. He also carries a giant wood staff with felaryan minerals and crystals in it at the top, and runes decorating the side. His long naga tail has a ridge of spikes going from his butt to the tip of his tail in a widened V-shape (similar to a Stegosaurus). His scales are patterns of gold, brown, and red. He has ram-like horns pointing downward in a gentle curve with the tips pointed forward.

Velzoreg wears a cloth shamanistic robe made by another naga clan, maintained and repaired with magical abilities. He has two books chained around him, one is a spell book, and the other is of stories from when he was a nagaling.

CHILDHOOD:

When he was young, Ur-Sagol fell, and Sineria took the opportunity of the fallen empire to attack the Nagas a few small decades later. He was only eighty.

Whenever his clan visited other Naga clans, he was always impressed with the magic. As an impressionable youth, he decided to learn that, instead of the art of the blade, like other Pit Nagas.

WAR:

When the war started, he left to join the fight against the Dridders. He had been fighting for years when The Great Treachery happened, Velzoreg was away from his clan and family on a mission. He was ambushed, and was the only one to escape. His succubus ally was killed, and he walked away with a massive scar. When he returned, he found everyone was either dead or missing.

He went on a spree of vengeance, unable to quell the Dridders by himself, or find his clan. he pitied his own inabilities. Having no idea what else to do with himself, he remained reclusive and solitary for a while afterward, hunting down fanatical dridders, and Seekers of Sineria.

POST-WAR:

Otherwise he was watching the world go on from a distance. He practiced his magic, looked for his kin, and wrote down all the stories he remembered into his story book. He knew he didn't want conflict, but couldn't bury Sineria from his memories.

He was never able to get revenge. Nor would he ever. During the Hundred Years of Nightmares, he relived everything until he had a personal crisis, realizing the hard truths about his past, and shrank away from the world almost entirely.

CURRENT:

The next time he surfaced, Negav had just been born, and in a strong feeling of deja-vu, he remained close by to watch Negav grow.
