Something amusing. You just enter in a name, and it makes a weapon. I've seen everything from bows, to bazookas, to magic wands.

Apparently I'm an attack 23 sword.

I wasn't inputting spaces, although I did use a hyphen (which is a valid character). The error isn't because I inputted an invalid name, it is because the generator did not translate the name into a weapon. Your username is just special, I guess.

Both "Anime-Junkie" and "animejunkie" result in the error I was talking about (which is different from the error you get when you try to use spaces). "ANIME-JUNKIE" and "ANIMEJUNKIE" work fine, as do "AnimeJunkie" and "anime-junkie".

I'm just curious why those particular variants don't work, and if anyone else has found something else that results in a "The name did not become arms" error.

I'm assuming there's an algorithm behind the generator that assigns a point value based on the characters in a name (or something like that), and creates a result based off of it. For some reason, the presence or absence of that hypen and the way it interacts with the other characters seems to be causing a problem with the calculation.

... Like I said, just curious.
