| Two more type of Earth Elementals. The first one is the Metal Elemental, sometimes refered as Steel Elemental, and the other one is the Crystal Elemental, sometimes refered as Gem Elemental.
Metal and Crystal Elementals are quite rare types of Earth Elementals, with the former being a tad more common than the latter. The reason is due to metal and crystal minerals are obviously found deeper underground than stone and sand.
The former, the Metal Elemental, is usually feared for its incredible durability against physical assaults. Surprisingly, Metal Elementals are usually very resilient, something that surprises even the most knowledgeables in the field of Elementals. In addition, Metal Elementals tend to be less bulky than Stone Elementals. However, they are not without their downside. For instance, they are generally very heavy, which usually gives them poor mobility. Their slow speed also contributes to them as easy targets to pick up. They also are usually vulnerable to magic, but this depends largely on which type of metal they are made of. Their usual weakness are fire, which melts the steel, and wind/water, which rust the metal.
The latter, the Crystal Elemental, is pretty much considered the polar opposite of Metal Elementals. Where Metal Elementals are feared as the bane of physical fighters, Crystal Elementals are feared as the bane of spell casters. Crystal Elementals are quite lightweight, which gives them an edge in term of mobility. Spells are usually useless against a Crystal Elemental, though this depends on which crystal they used to create its body. Usually, spells have either no effect, is deflected, or is reflected. Sometimes they absorb magic attacks as nutriments, though they can't syphon the magic out of a mage. However, they are quite fragile to physical assaults and breaks easily, though again this depend on which type of crystal their body is made of. Large blunt weapons are usually very affective against them. Their other downside is that what type of magic they can use mostly depends on which crystal they're made of. This makes them quite predictable against those who knows what compose their body. Crystal Elementals are one of the rare few Elementals to be weak against their own Element. However, this mostly give them an edge against other Elements.
If you have any ideas on how to flesh them more, don't hesitate to post them.

I really like the concepts, but don't do this; Steel is a specific type of metal (and a processed one at that), don't use it interchangeably with "Metal". A Steel Elemental might be a subtype of Metal Elemental, but Metal Elementals are not Steel Elementals. - Sean Okotami wrote:

No objection to this; like I said, I really like the concepts. - Sean Okotami wrote:

This is also a very good description, although in the last sentence "Their usual weakness are fire, which melts the steel, and wind/water, which rust the metal." you should either change "steel" to "metal", or make a note that you're talking about Steel Elementals in particular and not Metal Elementals in general. A Gold Elemental (presuming the existence of other kinds of Metal Elementals) is going to be more prone to melting, but it won't rust. - Sean Okotami wrote:

That's a fair amount of detail and creativity. Again, I do like the idea a lot, and I don't really have any suggestions on improving them, persay. Although I'm sure I can come up with a few ideas for fleshing them out more. - Sean Okotami wrote:

I'll probably post one or two later; it's shaping up to be a busy day for me. Anyways, excellent job on these.
