RP- ideas?

RPs are are super fun and awesome and all...but those of us who are bound to use our fanfic characters are gunna run into problems if folks such as TifaLover88 and Karbo do not interact as well with our characters, so then we'd have to play out Crisis, Vivian and Anna, and so on. But then someone else could be having Crisis do something totally different while a post at the very same time in a RP had her eatin a neko. any ideas on how to combat this problem other than begging the owners of the characters to RP?

Don't bring them in?

There are a few area's on Felarya that haven't been delved into much with characters. The Great Marshes, for instance.

Other than that, try keeping the interaction with anyone named to a minimum. Similarly, try to bring in low-tier / low-fantasy characters. While Mr Killy McFighter from Final Fantasy has an absurd amount of power, he would be impossible to introduce to Felarya without bringing attention to himself.

Agreed, fan characters are nice to use in Felarya in my opinion for the simple reason is that their personalities and stats can be adjusted by you the creator so that they don't stand out in a crowd. That and official game/show character is very difficult to maintain because you would have to know and replicate the character's personality exactly.

All in all, just use your own characters. You get to see how they'd react and you get to interact with other characters that you normally wouldn't seen anywhere else.

I agree. If you stick to what you know, you'll be bound for success.

However, don't miss an opportunity to explore the areas of Felarya. They're pretty big, and chances are you won't run into anything from another story.

well keep in mind that some people in vore rpgs expect it to happen, and in a world like felarya your bound to attract that crowd, the one that RPs generaly for vore, so having an overpowered preditor or the like really dosent seem all that bad to some of them, many of them play as nigh involnerable and i include crisis as well in this catagory (her soft stomach tissue can ignore the damage of a grenade. something that would kill someone from a distance.

if you want players in your rp thread to be balanced go ahead, but be aware that if Felarya attracts this croud of people, and it has a very high potential to, you might get people who just want to rp their epic characters.

it might also ruin the versetility of threads since in real life, there are going to be people better than you and people who are not as good.

If youre talking about known figures though, I'm not sure how karbo would react to random people playing his characters, didnt they begin as RP characters themselves?

No, I've asked Karbo before, and he says he doesn't RP, not even on Eka's Portal.

I guess the pictures of crisis and josephina are just colabs/trades then. I thought they where based on events or such.

Woof Id like to suggest an adventure kind f thing, with several people acting as the adventurers while the other players act as the various predators or quest giving people...Like A DM or something...You know what I'm saying? xD

Of course all the adventures end in some sort of horrible way (I.E. through the digestion tract of various girls/beasts)

I personally prefer at least some survivors. Doesn't help if the only real winner in the end of an RP is promissed to be a predator (Not that I'm saying the 'Prey' needs to win, just not all lose horribly in the worst way).

Funnily enough, prick-like characters have the best odds of survival.

And what the majority of my less honorable RP characters would. It's also the easiest way to survive, if the hardest to make friends with.

Well if no friends testify agaisnt you then know one knows you sold them out! You survive adn live to feed more predators again!

Well I'm still crunching numbers and designing my table top system, as long as My character has a shot of survival based on her skill, I'd be happy to participate in such an event, but if its more of a we'll see how it goes kind of thing I'd have to stick with rather uninteresting dime a dozen characters, I dont like putting alot of work into one character, only to have her offed in a single short adventure

Either way I was hopping things would go in this direction eventualy, but who here is a good DM? Karbo might be, but Karbo would seem to be more of an impartial dm.
