I was thinking the same thing as I was creating the idea. I would be easy prey for them.

Little surprised that they can shift from "needing a solitary person to fall asleep before they can eat them" to "eating multiple awake and armed guards". Seems a bit far of a jump. Have access to sleep magic, maybe?

They do, it's under 'Powers.'

I didn't make it clear enough that that is how they disable sentries. I also should have mentioned that they will often wait until night to do this. Fixed now, thanks for pointing that out.

Much as I'm partial to the idea of pedos getting what they deserve, I dunno, these guys just don't really stand out to me. Like, eating other creatres is one of Felarya's main points and practically everything does so, these guys just seem like another brick in the wall.

If nothing else, I have to disagree with that. Hell needs more demons than just succubi. Extra demons are always welcome. And demons based on the seven deadly sins are classic. We now have gluttony and lust, and I have one for envy, so 4 to go.


With that said, here are some points I believe would make this a better species.

First, why are these demons at all? What is their connection to Hell? What is their interaction with souls? Surely they don't go only to Felarya right? How would being on another planet effect their hunting habits? What is their hierarchy in Hell? See where I'm going with this? Give us a reason for them to be demons in the first place.

Second, You mentioned male hunger demons. Then said nothing else about them. So how do they feed themselves? Same way?

Agreed, hell isn't populated purely by succubi.

Their reason for being demons stems from the inspiration for them. But I see you point, there is no really GOOD reason for them to be demons. But if not demons what would they be?
Their unnatural hunger, it's demonic; they can never have enough.
Demons are inclined to go after humans, nekos etc. Why? because they are demons. If the hunger demons weren't demons, they would just eat everything, strip every fruit bearing tree and bush.

Everything in 'Hunting Techniques' and 'Powers' applies to both male and female.

This fourm is to flesh out succubi and angels. This isn't a topic on either one. It's a topic on a new race, even though they are demonic, I don't think it belongs here since they aren't a sub-species of Succubus.

Sombody replied and said that made them "I like this idea! Giving them childlike faces is an interesting idea, really makes them stand out instead of just being nekos with long ears." So... If it's rabbits its cute, if it's demons its pedo?

just saying....so this is what going to be some demon of same size fuzzy vore? (got nothing on fuzzy vore if thats your thing...its just kinda illogical...then again we are talking about demons.)

I think the difference there stems from the fact that while the Narez have retain 'childlike faces' the proposed Hunger Demons are look like children 8-13 years. Essentially one is just the face, the other is their entire body.

That's also my opinion... In general I think some caution is needed when you introduce underraged ( or underraged-looking ) characters in Felarya as a race.. I mean it's a world with a strong part of fetish and in certain situations this mix can be a bit disturbing I think ^^;

Indeed...
I'm not really inclined 'that way' so it didn't cross my mind as such.

I love this idea, though I agree they could bring some disturbing situations. However, I believe such things could be kept to a minimum if the true form is adult.

One thing I think could add to them nicely is some sort of feature that makes them recognizable as what they are in their child/teen form, and also carries over to their true form. It's sort of traditional. It should be concealable, but the concealment shouldn't be failsafe. I favor cloven hooves for the hunger demon's feet as the feature.

Okay, a few things.

First of all, while this is undoubtedly creepy, you have to remember that Felarya was originally created as a fetish setting. Including children could attract actual pedophiles to this forum, and taint all of Felarya in the eyes of certain European Courts who think anime characters are all "lolicon bait" (you know the ones). I agree with the concept, but I think it should be changed so they appear as pretty young women (of legal age) rather than outright children.

Why would Hunger Demons work with other predators? I mean, if they were summoned, sure, but why let the pred have some of the reward when it was the Demon who did all the work? And if they have access to such powerful magic, why follow them at all when they could just put them to sleep, and eat them and all their food?
