Enter Trixy: The curious naga

Luna heard Ha'dara but said, "They're free except for the one that had it's blood sucked." She picked up the neko with her right hand and did the same thing she had done with Trav. The neko soon disappeared in a faint green light. "So Trixy what's your story, I mean how did you end up here on Felarya?" she asked Trixy.

“Cyber…cybernautic? We actually be in Luna’s mind?” Trav asked, stunned. It took a while for what actually happened to sink in. But as he recovered his wit’s, he began to observe his surroundings more carefully.

“I know not what these letters mean,” Trav said. “If we be in ‘er mind, should we not see images o’ memories or such?”

Trixy popped the cat girl in her mouth, played with her a bit and swallowed, feeling te lump in her throat kicking and struggling it's way to her stomache.

"I was born in Felarya." She replied, "It wasn't very easy surviving either. I've had to survive all on my own because my mother died when I was three and I don't know aything about my dad. But the scariest things I've ever expereince is...well..." She glanced over at the water, finnishing her sentence with her eyes.

Ha'dara put the catgirls down by the forest and watched them run off before heading back to the rest of the group. Ignoring the urge to insult them, he just held up one hand and used a small gold Ki blast to get down half the branches from a nearby tree and sarted eating the fruit growing on them. Looking over at the group and shook his head, thinking to himsefl 'Poor Neko's. Oh well, not my place to tell them what to eat.'

Luna understand what Trixy meant and said, "My family was killed by a four-legged Eternity demon when I was nine. It ate my siblings in front of me and I ran away not knowing what became of parents. I ended up here on Felarya near Frost Peak. I saved my dad from becoming a meal for a wolf and we have been together ever since, except for the fact that the same beast came back and attacked me. Mike killed the beast and set my family free because their souls were inside of the thing. But the beast didn't die without giving me a spike to the right side of my head, which now is part cybernetic and that's how I got this mark on my right hand." She lifted up her right hand showing Trixy the mark.

Mike laughed a little saying, "This is the only part of Luna's mind that is cybernetic, the rest of her mind is normal so we won't see anything from her past and stuff like that, unless she wants us to see it. In fact this is the only part of her mind where we can be free to talk and lazy about while in a virtual environment. Lets see...hm... I know." He snapped his fingers and soon the area changed from plan to a lush green and hilly environment with small building in the hills. Mike took out a pipe and a bottle of some strange red power saying in a hobbitish accent, "Ah! Dragon's Breath, the finest weed in all the shire. Do you want a pipe as well Trav?" He offered Trav a pipe and lit his. He began smoking it while he sat down next to a tree and rested his back on it. The same neko appeared next to Mike but he wasn't surprised.

At first, Trav was stunned again, but soon recovered. There was no denying that this peaceful field was a definite improvement over the chaotic numbers and letters.

“Ah, it be ages since I had a decent smoke,” Trav said, grinning. He took the offered pipe from Mike. “Thank yeh, I lost mine over a year ago. There be no decent tobacco ‘ere in Felarya, anyway.” He sat down on the field and lit his pipe as well. Moments later, he blew a small smoke ring, which quickly dissipated in a slight breeze.

“Ah, tell me. Yeh said that sword o’ mine might change if I named it. Can yeh tell me more about that?” Trav asked, after a moment.

Finishing the fruit, Ha'dara got up and went back to the others. "Finished with the cats yet? And next time you plan to eat someone, can you say so? I don't like it and would prefer warning to go somewhere else."

"That's so sad." Trixy said, tears forming in her eyes, "I'm so sorry Luna."

Trixy's sadness was soon turned into pannick as Ha'dara called out. She had forgotten all about her food. She quickly shoved the other cat girls into her mout and swallowed, almost gagging on them.

through a scrachy voice and teary eyes from the cat girls getting stuck in her throat, she called back, "All done Ha'dara!"

Ha'dara muttered to himself "I need to get out of Felarya soon!". Turning directly to Trixie, he askd "Out of curiosity, why do you eat smaller people live, anyway? I don't really see the fascination."

Luna looked at Ha'dara and said, "I usually eat what my dad makes for me but I'll living things like fish or other like, and I think the neko that my dad feed on looked somewhat familiar to me." ~It did look like Miiko but I can't be to sure about it~ she thought. She sighed and laid down on her stomach.

Mike looked at Trav and said with a smile, "It is one of a few sword I have made from Anciet'Draaka ore, the most rarest metal in the universe. All you need to do is give it a name and it will change into. Basically I decided to make something that could change to help the fighter in any combat situation if it has a name, so all you need to do is give it a name and see if it accepts it but if it doesn't then all you have to do is give it many names and use the one it accepts and how you can tell when it likes it's name, it will glow and well sorta speak to you as if it were a living thing." He looked at the neko and saw something in it's hair. He dragged the neko over to him with his tail and cried, "It can't be! Miiko?" He looked at the neko closely and confirmed that it was his friend Miiko.

“Tis a rare gift yeh and Luna gave me. I thank yeh again,” Trav said. “I cannot decide what to name it. I be a poor poet, and an even poorer warrior, nor do I possess any great wisdom. I’ll need to think on it afore I choose a name. I just hope Trixy be keepin’ it close. I need to make a scabbard for meself.”

Trav looked up as Mike pulled the Neko by the tail. “Ah, be this a friend o’ yeh?” Trav asked.

Ha'dara thought for a second then asked "If yu find a human called 'Harriet Onus', can you leave her alone? You should know if you've found her, I told her to say she has a Naga friend if she meets any."

(I know the Human has a strange name, but it was all I could think of when I wrote the short story)

Luna looked at Ha'dara and said, "I'll keep an eye out for your friend but what does she look like, I need to know what she looks like 'if' I come across her."

Mike looked at Miiko and said, "Yes, she is my friend alright cause I can tell by that ridiculous necklace she's wears." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RIDICULOUS!" said the neko as she instantly sat up. "Well good morning Miiko, sleep well?" Mike said with a smug grin. Miiko blinked a few times and shouted, "WHAT THE HELL? MIKE? YOU SUCKED MY BLOOD?" "Yes I did suck your blood and thought it tasted familiar, so anyway, why were you away from the temple?" he asked. "I was escorting a group of neko's to Negva when a naga attacked us," she exclaimed. "O? Did the naga look anything like her?" Mike said as an image of Trixy appeared. "That's the one who attacked us! YOUR FRIENDS WITH HER?" Miiko shouted. "Yes I am and the person over there be Trav," Mike pointed to Trav.

“Er…this be difficult,” Trav stammered, removing his straw hat and scratching his head for a moment. “Aye, we be friends with her. But how does one such as I convince her not to eat? My hands never even held a sword until last night, and the only thing it struck were a pair o’ watermelons.”

((Nay, I like to talk in many accents, especially de irish one))

Miiko looked at Trav and then at Mike who had a pipe in his mouth. "UGH! Don't tell me where in that environment with those short people," Miiko said with disgust. "Yes we are my friend and let me tell you something Miiko, I happen to like hobbits, their are an interesting people," Mike said with his hobbit accent. He blow out several smoke rings that changed color. "Why don't you calm down and have a pipe or a nice bottle of the ol winred?" He took out a bottle of wine and three cups. He handed one to Trav and then the second to Miiko who took it without much complaint. He poured Miiko, Trav and himself some of the wine and said, "Ah, this is the finest wine in all the Shire."

“Whatever yeh may say about these short people,” Trav said, smoking his pipe, “They chose a good place to settle. This be good soil fer farmin’.”

“I’ll have but a little, thank yeh. I find that spirits o’ this nature quickly fuddle me ‘ead.” Trav added, accepting the cup. He tried a sip of the wine. “Ay, that be good, though. They ‘ave naught th’ likes o’ it in Felarya either. So, yeh two know each other? ‘ad this ever ‘appen to yeh before, Miiko? Th’…er…th’ blood suckin’?”

Miiko glared at Mike and said, "Yes I know him since he first came here a little over a year ago and yes I have had my blood sucked by him before." Mike smiled and said, "Well I think it's safe to go outside now." <Ia can you get us outside now, I have an urge to go surfing.> A woman appeared next to Mike and said, <Alright but don't expect Miiko to be happy.> The three were bath in a green light and vanished.

Luna noticed a green light next to the water and soon Trav, Mike, and the same neko that she recognized to be her aunt Miiko. "Well if it isn't aunt Miiko," she said with a big grin. "LUNA!" Miiko cried as she dashed over to Luna and hugged her. Mike still had his pipe in his mouth but smiled at the two.

Trav looked up as he suddenly found himself back in the woods of Felarya. “Aunt Miiko? Yeh ‘ave a strange family, if yeh don’t mind me saying so.” He commented, watching the mismatched pair. Unconsiously, he removed the pipe from his mouth to blow another smoke ring. He blinked, then looked at the pipe in his hand.

“Wait, these aren’t illusions like that field?” Trav asked, somewhat surprised. “If yeh know where to find decent tobacco like this, I’d be obliged to yeh if yeh tell me.”

"The pipe and tobacco are no illusions my friend, I always care that sort of thing around for when ever I need a good smoke. I think a bit of music would do," he said as he took out an ocarina; he held his pipe up this his tail and began playing the theme song for the Shire. Luna Looked at Mike and then at Miiko who was still hugging her. She lifted Miiko up, who didn't yelp but began to purr. She placed Miiko on her right shoulder and listen to the song of the hobbits. Miiko leaned against Luna's neck while purring and closed her eyes.

Trav was definitely feeling better, having gotten over his earlier nausea. He suspected the smoke and the wine helped, as well as the calming environment of the field. Still, he didn’t feel at ease with the whole situation of Trixy eating the catgirls (at least the one Mike preyed on was okay). Though what could he do about it? Force was out of the question. Their mismatched sizes aside, Trav simply wasn’t a violent man and could never bring himself to threaten a lady (even a naga).

He couldn’t think of a solution, aside to do what he did last night: guide Trixy to fruit and other such sources of food. Who knows, perhaps he saved someone’s life by leading Trixy to the watermelon, when she might have otherwise gone hunting. In the meanwhile, he would not give up this friendship so easily.

Putting his mental debate out of his mind for the moment, he walked over and found a seat on Trixy’s long, serpentine tail. He listened to Mike’s music for a moment, then began playing his recorder along with the melody.

Miiko hummed along with the song while Luna looked at Trixy and asked with smiling, "So Trixy what do you think of me having a neko as an aunt?" Mike continued playing with Trav so that the area seemed more relaxed and calm.

(This is a little off topic but if Karbo doesn't really roleplay, does that mean his characters aren't in any rolelays?)

Ha'dara thought for a second "She's midde aged, slightly slim, brown hair & eyes most likely wearing clothes like an Indiana Jones rip-off. If you pick her up and are about to eat her, she should say she has a Naga friend that will kill you."

Luna looked at Ha'dara and said, "I think I'll recognize her if I come across her and you have my word that I won't eat her or better yet you could tell if you tag along." Mike was still paying the song and Miiko fell to sleep on Luna's right shoulder.

Ha'dara thought about that "If I stay in a group, it might be a little easier to find away home. I am used to being around others and I haven't seen another Naga for decades" he looked over at Trixie for a second "To bad I didn't come across a quiet one! I'll probably stay with this group for a while"

Luna closed her eyes and imaged a clock in her mind which it showed her that it was about one in the afternoon. She opened her eyes and lifted Miiko off her shoulder and cradled Miiko with her left arm. She then looked at Trixy and asked, "You've been quiet recently Trixy, are you sick or something?" Mike stopped playing the ocarina and began to smoke his pipe again as he walk over to Luna and sat down near her chest. He took out some more dragon's breath weed and refilled his pipe. He rested his back on Luna's right breast and said, "this is turning out to be quite an adventure if I do say so myself."

Luna looked down at him but didn't care if her dad walked between her breast since or even laid against one of them since he was her entire world and the only person who would risk his all to protect her. She sighed and tucked Miiko between her breast. She then placed her arm in front of her and rested her head on them with Mike protectively enclosed by her body along with Miiko. ~I wonder how Zan and Zara are doing?~ she thought.
