Ho Snap! Divisions at work/school!

You won't see this in a news report because it's not as important as a stupid student putting laxatives in one of his teacher's coffee.

Three teachers just quit my school because they were supporting Obama and were being ostracised from others in their department.

Students at my school are also arguing on the political field over the rumor that Obama is reinstalling the draft, or the other rumor that Obama is demilitarizing the US.

Amazing, right?

Honestly, I'm getting a BIT worried about my school's balance. A majority of the teachers voted McCain, while almost the entire student body was pro-Obama, and those that could vote DID vote for Obama.

Now there's this little club called the 'School Board Watchers' who are accusing the district's school board of corruption and rerouting of school funds, and some of them have gotten the idea the principal is in on it!
Well, I kind of agree with the SBW, actually, since our school has been in need of maintence since 2002.


So, what is it like at your school or work? Has it settled down or is it getting worse. I can tell you, it's getting worse over here.

Arizona became a state in 1914, on Valentine's Day, way after Abe Lincoln got his brains shot out. Arizona never 'legally' had slaves, in fact, Arizona was Mexico for awhile.

Arizona never laughed, it was too busy being hoity-toity over thinking that Arizona's Senator (John McCain) was going to be president (thankfully, he wasn't).

Arizona as a state isn't 'technically' racist (Whites are outnumbered 3-to-1), but our 'democratically' elected leaders (and Sheriff) sure are!

But this isn't about RACISM. It's about the divisions happening in schools and works because of politics.

True, just my impression on the tread. The town/school/community sounds like they hate Obama simply because he's black. Did you watch the news? He's far from demilitzrising the army. He's no Bush for sure, but he's definately differant.

Either that, or your town's just pissed their Senator never got elected (personally, McCain's too old for it!).

BTW: Hope your Principle, if he is corrupting and re routing school funds, gets what he deserves.

Sounds like a pretty interesting week.

Sorta the other way around for us, student body was pro-McCain and teachers went for Obama. Nothing really serious has happened yet, Except this one kid yelled 'Nobama!' in our halls a while back.

Teachers where I live don't say who they vote for usually, though the students are generally all Obama supporters. Unfortunately, it has very little to do with anyone's political views.

I haven't heard anything from around my area yet although I am getting sick of seeing them sell Obama plates and coins on tv.

In my school, most students and teachers were Obama fans. It's creepy. Young people aren't supposed to be politically active. But, I've already said how much Obama's "cult following" creeps me out. It's not just because young people like him. That's all well and good. But all the DA works, and other stuff... yeah, it gets creepy. Malahite mentioned that DA adopted its Obama fad just after it got over its furry fad... it's only a matter of time until the two collide. *shudders*

My contacts in the furry community have already shown me that there's Furry-Palin Porn. Likely, there's already Furry-Obama stuffs. Probably in pornographic forms, too.
