David managed to resist flailing around as he was tossed into the air, though he couldn’t prevent a sharp gasp at the sudden motion. He glanced down, and saw Verira opening her mouth beneath him, a giant pink portal glistening with saliva. He soon reached the peak of his flight, and began plummeting towards the open mouth. He landed square in the center of it with a small splash of saliva. Soft though the tongue was, the impact knocked the wind from his lungs, leaving him gasping for air.

Verira closed her mouth as David landed inside. She moved David around with her tounge. "mmmmmmh, you taste pretty good"

David almost panicked as Verira toyed with him with her tongue. He was tempted to activate his shield then and there, but he forced himself to wait. As it was, though, he struggled to keep himself out from in between Verira’s teeth.

"GULP" It came from Verira's throat as she swallowed David. "Don't feel bad human, you were pretty tasty"

As David neared her stomach Verira said. "you get along with those nekos now. I don't want any figthing in my stomach"

Rose smiled as she watched verira eat when she was done rose patted verira's cheek "you look lik you enjoyed yourself"she says smiling

As David slid down Verira’s throat, his arms were pinned to his side. Try as he might, he couldn’t reach move them, let alone reach his shield. It was hard enough to breathe with the tight flesh constricting his chest. However, he was soon released as he fell into Verira’s stomach. He didn’t fall far before he landed atop a pile of nekos. Immediately, he switched on his shield and put a mask like device over his face.

Protected from the acid and supplied with oxygen, he looked around at the disturbing site. Fortunately, they seemed to have died already from want of air before being subjected to the acids.

“Help me…”A voice said weakly. David spun to see a lone neko reaching weakly towards him. David pulled her out of the acid and put a shield device on her, as well as an air mask.

“Are there any others alive?” David asked, his voice slightly muffled by the mask. She shook her head, breathing deeply from the fresh air the mask provided. She was burned by the acids, but not badly.

Meanwhile, the heavy lifter beeped. “Unable to complete self repairs. Returning to base.” An automated voice said. The damaged engines lit up again, and the lifter slowly began making it’s way back to the base. It’s engines periodically sparked and groaned, making it easy to follow.

Verira looked at rose. "i was starving so it was great to eat. did you find some food you like in the storeage room?" Verira licked her fingers, for any remaining taste of human or neko. "Hey Rose, do you think you can control that thing?" Verira asked and looked at the lifter.

Rose sighed "i didn't get a chance"she says a little nervously she saw the lifter fly away she pointed at it "anyway it looks like that thing could be going back to its base place me ontop then follow silently behind i will infaltrate the base and lure them out then i could use there base as a home" she says smiling

"fine by me" Verira said and took Rose in her hand. Verira moved towards the slow moving lifter and placed Rose ontop. "talk to you later then"

Rose smiled and waved at verira "yeah talk to you later"she says and then looks around the top she finds a hatch and with a few tugs opens it smiling she climbs inside the lifters hold

Within Verira’s stomach, David hears the sounds of the lifter leaving, and mutters a curse to himself.

“Who…are you?” The neko asks at length, looking at David.

“Name’s David Thorne, of the Centauri Terraforming Station, or just Centauri as it’s commonly called now.

“David…I saw you in the village…attacking the naga,” The neko said. “You tried to distract it from us. Thank you.”

“I didn’t do a good job of it…” David said.

“But you tried, that is more than many would do,” The neko said. “You helped my family to escape the naga. Thank you,”

Inside the hold of the lifter is the wrecked speeder David crashed before, as well as several cases of supplies of various types. One of them contains edible rations. The lifter continues on it’s way, eventually coming to a mountainous pine forest. It stops at the edge of a massive lake, practically a freshwater sea.

Rose smiled she worked her way around the cases and found something she liked so as she was happily eating away at some rations she fll forward a little as the speeder came to a stop she looked out but she didn't recognise the surroundings she was a little worried that verira wouldn't be able to find her.

Verira who was hiding in the tree's, a little distance from the lifter, trying to stay unnoticed at all points, wondered why the lifter had suddenly stopped at a lake.

“Well, who are you anyway?” David asked the neko, changing the topic from the battle and the destroyed village.

“I’m Dienna,” The neko said. “Um, do you know how to get out of here?”

“Not right off, but we’re safe for the moment,” David said. “I heard the lifter fire up it’s engines, chances are it’s going to lead the naga right to my base. I don’t think she’ll be able to do much harm. Chances are, they’ll have some way to help us.”

“So, we just need to wait then?” Dienna asked.

“I’m afraid so. But we’ll get out,” David said.

The lifter merely continued to hover at the lake’s edge. However, if one looked into the clear waters, one could see a multitude of buildings dotted with lights in the deepest parts. Slowly, a huge platform began rising to the surface of the lake, large enough to accomodate vehicles far larger than the lifter.

'now that's pretty impressive' Verira thought. 'i hope they won't hurt Rose, when they see her inside their machine'

Slowly and unsteadily, the lifter flew over to the platform as it surfaced. It settled down on top of the platform and powered down it’s engines. A dome of energy appeared over the platform, and it sunk again. The dome kept the water out as the platform descended to the lake bed.

When it reached the lake floor, a roof extends from an adjacent building, enclosing the platform. When the platform was fully enclosed, The field of energy disappeared and couple men, a neko, a few robots and several alien figures come out and begin servicing the damaged lifter. One of the men stumbles upon Rose hiding in the cargo room. He looked at her with a quizzical expression, then pushes a button on a small device on his wrist.

“Jefferson to Docking control, I have a stowaway here.”

“We’ve stopped,” David noted, “We must be at Centauri now. If we are, they’ll detect me before long. If they know we’re here, they’ll find some way to get us out. I won’t leave you behind Dienna.”

A small robot flies into Verira’s view, and focuses a camera on her. After a moment, it fired a small dart into Verira’s skin and zipped away. The dart injected something, but aside from stinging a miniscule amount, it had no other effects.

Rose was surprised when she was discovered she drew herself to her full height to try and look imposing incase they attempted to harm her in anyway she took a glance beside the man seeing the exit was clear she pushed past the man and ran for the exit

The crewman that found her was easily knocked aside in his surprise. He tried to grab ahold of her as she sprinted past, but Rose was long gone before his reaction time could catch up. As she disappeared, the man again spoke into his wrist-com. “She’s sprinting! Heading for the primary lifer doors.” He said, getting up from the floor.

Outside the lifter, another member of the crew was bringing a toolbox to the lifter and was right outside the exit of the lifter. It was obvious this crewman wasn’t human, but had a hulking reptilian presence and bore a large shell over it’s body. It was about to open the doors to the lifter when they flew open of their own accord, and Rose came flying out. The shelled alien let out a croak of surprise as they collided, but his sturdy frame resisted the impact without falling. He tried to grab Rose before she could recover from their collision.

Rose was suprised at first when the door opeened by itself then she ran into something and fell over she then felt someone grab her collar she looked up nervously to see a reptillian like person holding her collar she was smiling weakly "um hi" she says nervously

Verira looked confused at the robot, thinking it to be some wierd bug. "Ow, that stupid bug stung me" Verira whispered, to herself, when the robot hit her with the dart. Verira was starting to get worried about Rose, as the platform sunk into the lake again. 'Oooh i hope she'll be ok'

The shelled reptilian looked down at Rose for a moment, appearing a little indecisive. “Excuse me madam. You are not hurt, are you?” It asked eventually, lifting Rose back up to her feet. The reptilian creature looked up as a male neko wearing the same uniform as the rest of them approached.

“I’ll handle this, Gorramabdi, tend to your duties,” The neko said. The reptilian regarded him for a moment, then nodded and released Rose. It picked up it’s dropped toolbox and went about it’s business repairing the lifter. The neko, meanwhile, extended a hand towards Rose. “Welcome to Centauri, miss. I’m Leutenant Harrin. Let’s go somewhere where we can talk undisturbed,” He said, leading Rose away from the docking bay.

A second, even smaller robot flew into Verira’s view. This one didn’t shoot anything, but several parts of it began glowing. After a moment, a hologram of a man appeared around it.

“Hello. We at Centauri have detected that there is one of our men currently within your stomach. We would like him back.” The hologram said.
