| I've started to hear about happenings of members from this forum attacking people- but attacking them off the forum so they don't break the rules. So I think this is a problem. If this becomes a regular thing then they might as well be flaming them on the forum. There is little that can be done if someone has a certain amount of contact information on you- and in a forum like felarya usually you want your contact information up to show fan art or fan writing you have made pertaining to felarya.
If nothing is done to change the attitude about off site bulling now before it becomes more and more common then it could become harder and harder to stop. Attacking people on other sites, other forums, or on a messenger or in email of sorts, I think all of those things if they are attacking them due to something felarya related or something relating to the forum if it is found out the person should ether be punished in the forum or in one of the felarya places they are joined in.
If this doesn't become addressed and people get away with these sort of actions its only natural it would be done more and more. After all if someone wants to do something wrong and figures out a loophole, they will use it.

| May wanna fix the typo in the title, but yeah, no form of harassment or argument is acceptable and I'd prefer if it were somehow able to be suppressed D: | |

| Agreed, I also have heard about this happening. Felarya is Karbo's. But who does the community belong to? That is the question. Mods only have power here. | |

| Sure, let's police the entire internet. | |

| I agree with Fish. Such disagreements should be between the persons involved. It would be nice to be able to deal with it, but it doesn't work like that. People can be blocked, ignored - this is just the internet. Plus, there are always multiple sides to things and it would be wrong to start handing out punishment arbitrarily. I guess I just hope, God forbid, that people could handle disagreements in a mature manner. | |

| We're all human beings, not Felarya drones. If bullying occurs on the site, it should be dealt with, but if it becomes a problem anywhere else, it should be dealt with by the rules of whatever site it does, not by our own.
The only exceptions are with messengers, or E-mail, both of which have block functions. I don't think this is something we need to lose any sleep over.

Agreed, this thread should not be revived. Especially with something so... Trivial.

| Putting my mod cap on: Reviving a thread with a pointless post is indeed frowned upon.
I hesitated before locking it, in case anyone had relevent bullying-related comments to make in future. But after all, as Karbo said, "There is just no realistic way to police that" off-site.
So, locked. Anything related to bullying that can be policed by the mods should be reported directly to us.
