Great ideas !

A syping/investigating angel is neat ^^ It makes sense too as I imagine regular angels are not the most discrete creatures around. I assume they would have a remarkable ability to maintain their presence in physical realms ?
Just this sentence I didn't really understand : "Andalim are uniquely suited to this task, because each angel and their class is different, and the Andalim's knowledge of abilities and traits make them the most qualified as general instructors for a group of younglings."

The Sheathing Thing is pretty creepy the way you described it ^^
I have to say I really like the idea of making the crystals of the western regions semi-organic. It gives the region a different feel than what I imagined when I drew the map but I find it interesting and I think I'll go in that direction. Great job Smile

Yeah, well I'm hoping it can one day be a great addition Smile

As for the phrase you had trouble with, I think I might have just worded it wrong. What I'm trying to say with that line there, is that each angel is different, there are many types of angels in general, and the Andalim are great initial teachers and mentors for, say, a class of angel children (assuming there are angel children), because Andalim have a great array of knowledge in many different areas.

I was going for a stabs-esque nightmare with the Sheathing Thing. Razz

I decided with those spires taking it a totally different route would be necessary, since I've come up with like 3 other ideas for it and none of them seemed to stick. An organic variant seemed relatively unique.

The Sheath Thing, inventive name by the way XD, is a subtly terrifying plant! The addition of those predatory Crystal towers is nice too! Good flora and fauna for the Western expansion.

Sec'thal The Great Library

This is one of Heaven's largest libraries, located partly in Chapsydis. This library is so massive, that one cannot see from one end to the other, even with scrying magic. An entire antechamber exists before the library itself, which alone is larger than many other libraries. This antechamber holds most of the tomes and archives for where books and other equipment is located, to provide ease of assistance in accessing various tomes.

The interior of the library itself might remind one of the Venmys-Pieaug library within Negav. The walls are incomprehensibly high, with archways and walkways high above and below. Paths spiral and stretch, bookcases hover in mid air, accessible only by certain moving platforms and walkways, or none at all. The structure of the interior was built in mind for Angels, who can easily fly from shelf to shelf or hover near the book they want. A door at the end of a walkway might lead into another dimension, where there are additional rooms with books hidden within the library. Doors in those rooms may lead to other rooms - resulting in an incredibly confusing library for any who are unfamiliar with its territory. Some of the doors even lead to access points for other realms in heaven, though those doors are very few in number. One door at the bottom of the library leads to Pazamal, where from the outside it resembles a massive gorgeous coral reef, glowing and covered in beautiful heavenly plants. This indeed means part of the library is also under water. There are also brilliant lights, runes, plants, drapings, and all sorts of various heavenly comforts spread throughout the library as well.

The higher tiers of the library are guarded by large flying Ceiciels. Heavenly magic guards every corner of this library, with the way the walkways are, the bookcases, and the devices and tools around it. It is absolutely no danger whatsoever to any true resident of heaven - whether angel or a mortal who has passed on to the after life. However, any spy from hell would find themselves immediately assaulted, or become lost forever within its depths.

Levenite

Levenite is a stone found semi-commonly throughout felarya. It is a brilliant green color, with different shades of green swirling inside, visibly through the surface of a finely cut fragment. When uncut, and found naturally, it is of a darker shade of green, blending in with many plants that makes it rather difficult to see. Indeed, this stone is found within forests, yet also on high elevations. This means the locations to find this stone are narrowed down to a few areas. However, most native felaryans agree that most of the time it simply isn't worth the risk to look for this stone. Those who do are almost always tourists or those come to hunt treasure from off world.

The reason for this is because the stone retains Felarya's most prime attribute: healing, and life. Holding a stone allows one's injuries to heal, and the ability to survive better in certain circumstances. The more intense the concentration is, the stronger the stone is. When concentrated enough, the stone starts to feel like its partly a liquid, often requiring a special alchemical case to carry it, making it a very beautiful piece for a necklace.

The remarkable aspect of this stone is for its ability to heal and retain life to carry on outside of Felarya. Even felarya's soil doesn't retain this ability, making it unique and particularly valuable to off worlders - who have taken it upon themselves to refer to this stone by another name: The Philosopher's Stone. Its ability to retain Felarya's nature also allows the wearer to stop aging. This is an attribute that is only measured off world in the first place, and once attained, those who've been to Felarya usually never return. While in Felarya, however, this ability is entirely redundant and unnecessary, which is why natives usually don't pay attention to it with the notable exception of more concentrated Levenite stones to be kept for medicinal purposes by Negav's healers - or as gems.

Talithessenar

The word in ancient elven means "one who pursues justice". The group represents something different, however.

They are Elven fanatics and supremacists who seek to restore what was, long ago. While many elves may be content to either build something new, learn from mistakes, or keep it in the past, this group attempts restoration. It is a romantic notion gone wrong, however. The belief has turned into zealotry, and are surprisingly dangerous. It is unclear how large the group is, but considering the lack of unity either from other elves, or other races that were once long ago part of the old empire, their goal has quite a long road ahead of them.

However, they are hard to find because they are competent in their subtlety and internal organization as a group,  and they prefer not to make themselves public (yet). However, adventurers who find anything to do with the ancient elves can often sell their treasures to "certain nobility" for a staggering amount of money - at least for an adventurer. While some nobility likely are connected to the group, none have made any public announcements or actions of support.

There are a few old temples in Felarya's wilderness inhabited by them, however, and they are just as defensive about their territory as any creature, naga, or neko tribe - their lethality in the wilderness should not be taken lightly.

Selendite

This metallic ore is appears closer to a crystal or diamond than it does an ore, with the brilliant white-blue-crystalline structure along the veins its found in. However while there are some veins found in Felarya it is mostly found in the realms populated more with angels and specifically ceicielic creatures with Pazamal having the largest, most pure natural concentrations. The ore itself gives off an angelic-like singing sensation when nearby when nearby. This is why its more often called by its nickname, "angel stone". The fires needed to smelt it down properly need to be on the scale of angelic or demonic fires.

Smelting methods can turn it into either jewelry or weapons. The jewelry made from Selendite are incredibly effective against curses, and are best used with charm enchantments. Fully smelted jewelry, when laced with powerful magical minerals such as Ascarlin is said to calm the heart of even the most enraged foe. The weapons made with Selendite sounds almost like it sings when it cuts through the air, however demons are capable of wielding and corrupting it as much. Any adventurer or warrior who manages to stumble on a Selendite weapon or jewelry is almost guaranteed to become a renowned warrior.

The most legendary Selendite weapon,  Immaculance, is a weightless lance forged from Selendite and Ascarlin, which has been lost somewhere on Felarya for over 3,000 years, was rumored to actually be forged by someone in Felarya for an angel that fought in the Tenebris war - many angels visit Felarya simply to look for it.

Knockroot

Knockroot is a very confusing plant in Felarya, with seemingly little to no known function beside oddly high nutritional value even compared to other sources of nutrients. The root curls up through the ground in a confusing series of twists and turns. It has spores along the sides which are masked by flowers that grow over them.

The root itself is incredibly flexible, almost to a comedic degree. Trying to pick it is very difficult as it tends to bend along with whatever pulls on it. Releasing it from the applied force causes a vibration along its entire system, which results in a gas cloud expelling from the spore locations. The gas cloud itself isn't magical, but contains heavy traces of it, which are known to cause a variety of effects - not always obvious.

During a Dimensional Pocket Storm, these roots are incredibly dangerous and should be avoided. Alchemists often utilize tinctures to successfully extract portions of this root for study, but find it very difficult to apply it in a solution, much to the surprise of alchemical scholars - further adding to the confusion of what exactly this root is used for other than sitting around expelling gas.

Mermaid Leaf
alt. name: Flukevine

Mermaid Leaf, or also known as Flukevine, is a largely underwater perennial plant that grows like a vertical stalk with tremendously large leaves fanning out from the middle. The leaves themselves can range in colors from greens, blues, purples, and other occasionally exotic colors depending on where in Felarya its growing. The plant is so-called due to the shape of the massive leaves which grow to resemble the tailfin, or Fluke, of a mermaid spiraling flower-esque patterns at various areas from the stalk. When left unchecked this plant can grow to incredible heights underwater, and while the plant itself can technically grow above ground, it does need a lot of water to stay healthy.

Mermaid leaf has a lot of life-giving alchemical properties to it, and can be used in many of the more potent potions. Water soaking with "Dryad Amber" and "Mermaid Leaf" create tremendously powerful energizing elixirs. Harvesting the plant is difficult because the most magically potent variants grow completely under water. Above ground variants are typically found in the gardens of the wealthier individuals in Negav who are able to afford and reproduce it among beautiful garden waterfalls. However this variant is not effective for potions, but is nonetheless something used to display status and will still grow to display vibrant and surreal colors just the same as the more natural underwater variant, but this version doesn't grow a tall stalk and instead remains much shorter.

Furthermore, the main vein of the leaves contain a powerful toxin when bitten into directly (but can be used alchemically for poisons). As a result most creatures know better than to try eating it. The plant stalk itself when fully grown contains small vine-like protrusions which hug the central stalk, and if someone gets too close to it, the vine will likely lash out with shocking speed despite being under water, coil the victim, and draw it against the stalk in a vicious "hug" The spikes will latch onto the body when they are hugged against the stalk and drain them using little finger-like protrusions on the underside. The prey remains paralyzed while being completely drained (and die) after which they are released. This deadly feeding method is usually forgotten due to the difficulty harvesting the plant, and the fact the garden-variety does not replicate this.

Experienced adventurers who know the ins-and-outs of the plant may also refer to the plant with one other pseudonym: "Rose of the Ocean".

Goldenwood Meadery

Goldenwood is the name one might hear of somewhere in Negav's own territory, or perhaps near Safe Harbor. Instead, Goldenwood claims its home far to the south in Dridder territory along the border of its region where a large group of Miaxi claim as home. The dridders who live in the area have a large amount of control over the area, and they always traded with the Miaxi and Gyspas in the area for their honey.

Eventually the Dridders in the area began mixing the honey, and started producing their own mead. Realizing they had all the ingredients they needed right there, their farmlands transitioned into growing plants ideal for making various kinds of mead, and constructed a large building in traditional Dridder architecture. It was then that "Goldenwood Meadery" was born. Native Felaryan honey is rather difficult to come by under normal circumstances, but the Family of Dridders used their unique position to their advantage.

Goldenwood Meadery is a main exporter to Supprozad, and it has since grown due to demand around the Dridder Kingdom. It is not all that uncommon to find barrels making their way up north, too. Clever people who manage to strike deals and take advantage of their own unique situation in Felarya to bring barrels to Negav. However, the Barrels produced are crafted to accommodate the larger sizes of the Dridders, therefore the Mafia group in Negav "Heaven's Fangs" are usually the main distributor.
