If you were born in Felarya instead

Before I go into imaging this, as I have done a few times I'll admit, I have to ask even if you were born in Felarya couldn't you just use the Dimensional Gate to go to another more pleasant world?

Now. Ahem. Well for starters I'm shut in and I live life very simply so I like to think I would do so as a human on Felarya. Though we're talking alternate realities so perhaps I'd have been born with magic so I might have some confidence. I'm poor in this reality so let's say I was born with some money, a son of minor merchant or parcel delivery company. But would I venture outside the city? Heck no! Don't get me wrong it'd be tempting but I'd prefer not to find out if I was able to outtalk my way out of being nomed by giant women when confronted by the real thing that reality as much as I am in role plays online. Fantasy can stay fantasy thanks. ^_^;

Hmm, it depends what I was born as. If I was born as a Human I'd do my best to stay out of the woods and wilderness. I'd like to think that my personality would mostly be the same, though I'd probably be far colder when it came to loss of friends, family, and other people. However, I'd probably still be my same kind yet sadistic self. :3 The same pretty much goes if I were born a predator. I'd catch a meal, be polite, find out their name and if they have any final words and/or regrets they want to get off their chest, play with them a little, then eat them.

XD No you haven't, and I have to wonder why you're so glad. XD

I would most likely be like my character Winona/Mousetrap, the sociopathic hunter specialist that uses others to her own means. I never wrote her to be an self-insert by any means, but when writing her I pretty much went on the thought of "If I grew up in Negav, this would be the sort of person I proberly would become."

Sounds like solid enough reasoning. Also Winona XD May ask where you go your inspiration for that name? Legend, Media or ...?

No reason in particular! Can't a guy just be glad that another guy's destiny wasn't to be a gaint maneater on some alien planet? I mean you'd know nothing of star wars if that had happened! There'd be no Darth Nergal.

Well I was trying to think of a name for one of my main characters, it had to be something that stuck out, something that hasn't already been used in Felarya (to my knowledge at least) and still works as a plausable name. And I remembered Winona Ryder the actress and how unusal her name was. I checked out the name and saw that not many people have been called it in recent history so I thought it was a good name.

Oh I see. So not from farscape nor from American folklore. Still pretty cool! I may have to read her bio sometime when I got some downtime.
