| Sordoa
Threat: Low to Medium Size: 30 ft (sometimes 2 ft)
Sordoa, Sordoae in plural, is often considered to be the Celestial counterpart to the Cerberus. They are dog-like don in glistening white fur with golden celestial markings all over them. Unlike the Cerberus, whose primary role is to prevent damned souls from ever escaping Hell, a Sordoa's prime mission is to prevent tainted creatures from ever entering Heaven. A Sordoa can shrink down to the height of a medium-sized dog, though this is only to be more approachable to harmless mortals. While a Cerberus is usually used as a walking portal, Sordoae are most often used as scouts. Instead of opening a portal for Heaven's forces to come forth, a Sordoa will instead loudly howl to the sky for Heaven's forces to arrive. Sometimes, multiple Sordoae will howl together in a song-like fashion, but it appears to be purely for communication between each other.
Sordoae can be fearsome opponents. While one can call for a celestial to descend for help, it rarely needs to do so. They have very strong muscles, are surprisingly agile, and possess strong light spells in paw.

| Ancient Sordoa
Threat: Low to High Size: 50 ft (Sometimes 4ft)
The Ancient Sordoa is among one of the most magnificent, yet fearsome Celestial one can encounter. The Ancient Sordoa's gold marks are much more prominent and radiates a blinding glow. Many bards and poets nicknamed it the "Golden Beast". The Ancient Sordoa's roar can instill panic into its foes, and its howl, bravery and heroism in its allies. One should never underestimate their great intelligence, strength, and holy power.

| Chyrada
Danger: Moderate Size: 2 - 3 ft long Location: Various rivers and fresh water in general
Chyrada, plural Chyradae, is a common fresh water predator. They stand at two to three feet in length, have light blue scales with thin violet lines. Their head is triangular and their jaw is filled with tiny, but razor sharp teeth. They anterior and posterior fins are quite large and possess claws. In fact, they can stand walk on their posterior fins, as well as use their anterior fins like hands. Chyradae are carnivorous and extremely aggressive. They are very numerous to make up for their lack of strength. River mermaids are often harrassed by multiple Chyradae, even though the small fishes often form the basis of their diet. It's not surprising to see a few of them leap out of a river and attack adventurers as they pass by. Their mobility is weaker on land, but can still catch green explorers off-guard. Chyradae give the illusion of being a pack creature, but in reality, they follow a "first come, first served" mentality. It's not uncommon for Chyradae to fight among themselves or even eat each other.
A Chyrada's fins are venomous and transmit the poison through their claws. In fact, the violet lines running along its body are veins of venom, somewhat like how a human can sometime see blue veins along its arms. A poisoned wound will usually have a violet tint in its blood, as well as an indigo outline around the injury. A Chyrada's venom isn't usually lethal in normal dose, though it depends on the person's consitution. The usual effects are an accelerated heartbeat and difficulty to breathe, followed by dizziness and impaired vision. The person is usually exhausted and weak, but luckily, this venom isn't all that powerful, and very few people actually died by a single dose of the poison.

| Barismond
Threat: Moderate Location: Underground
Barismonds are a type of carnivorous fungi found in Felarya's underground. They resemble podmaws so much that they're more often called Cavemaws. Just like podmaws, they look like egg-shaped fungi hanging upside down on the ceiling of caverns. One distinguishing trait is that Barismond don't rely on a sweet scent to attract preys. In fact, they release a somewhat putrid stench. Instead, they hang down tentacles toward the ground to probe for preys. If it senses a prey, it will ensnare and pulls it back to its maw. The tentacles are easy to spot by seasoned adventurers, as they would bring a lantern, and only an absent-minded novice would fall in such a obvious trap. Unlike podmaws, cavemaws possess four spidery limbs, which allows them to crawl up any surface, provided they're not slippery. Along with the tentacles, they can also spew a cloud of spores. These spores, when inhaled, cause the victim to experience all kinds of hallucination, which makes them easier to catch.
Fire is effective against Barismonds, but something else they can't stand is cold. When hit by an ice-spell, or any low-temperature attack, their stomach compresses dramatically, which prevents them from exhaling its spores and from using their tentacles to fight stubborn preys.

| Berserker Golem
The Berserker Golem is a very dangerous type of golems. In appearance, they resemble ordinary golems, although they are often larger and bulkier, and usually possess glowing red eyes. Berserker golems, like most golems, are incredibly strong and durable, but what set this variety apart from the others is its surprising speed and agility. Unlike other golems, a berseker golem can easily keep up with a healthy, well trained soldier, which always catch inexperienced warriors and mages by surprise. As their name implies, berserker golems are in a constant state of unbridled rage. Once they acquire a target, they will destroy anything in its way until it has eliminated its enemy, and nothing short of death can stop it.
This behavior, along with more material needed to create, is the reason why berserker golems are somewhat rarely utilized. While an awesome presence on the battlefield, it's difficult to create one who can recognize allies from enemies. Their main use is to instill fear and panic among enemy ranks. Old models of berserker golems would focus on a lone target and would not stop attacking it until it killed it, even if it had already been severely wounded and disabled, which left the golem open to destroy. Recent models focus on entire groups of enemies. If it successfully managed to incapacite a foe, it will turn its attention to the next nearest target for a more devastating effect.

| Burrowing Chryssantem
Threat: Moderate Location: Kryomia Fields, Grove of Carnivorous Plants
The Burrowing Chryssantem is a particularly viscious carnivorous plant found where sunlight is abundant. They appear as completely innocuous flowers, but this is all camouflage. The Chryssantem is very sensitive to vibrations, and when a prey comes close enough, it comes out of the ground, revealing another stem with a huge mouth and a bulbous body, then lunges down to devour its meal. The Chryssantem's mouth and stem are very elastic, allowing it to swallow multiple human-sized preys at once, and its gargantuan stomach can store usually up to fifteen humans at once before being completely full. The Chryssantem will then retreat underground to digest its meal. This process is quite fast, for carnivorous plant standards at least, and because its stomach is so elastic, it is difficult to cut it open.
While they seem terrifying, Chryssantems are quite clumsy, and it's not uncommon for one to lose its balance and fall down when attacking a prey. They have a hard time getting back up, meaning this is the perfect time to run away. However, if you are determined to kill a Chryssantem, cutting the normal flowers are your best bet, as they are what provides the entire plant with sunlight necessary to survive.

| Grubbing Sleedry
Size: 6 inches long Threat: Minimal - Moderate to Tinies
The Grubbing Sleedry, plural Sleedies, is a common type of worm-like insect found in multiple regions of Felarya. While actually insect, they are often erroneously referred as worms due to their lack of limbs. Unlike worms, they have a small pair of eyes, an armored exoskeletons, and huge mandibles. Grubbing Sleedries are harmless to humans, just annoying. They are nocturnal and will gluttonously eat crops and gardens at night, which is what they feed on most. Worse, due to being insects, typical wards are ineffective to keep them at bay. While plants are their main diet, they will eat anything small enough to tear down with their mandibles or simply chow down. As a result, they are mildly dangerous to Tinies, especially thanks to their armored exoskeleton. Luckily, they can easily be killed with piercing weapons aimed between the plates. While active at night, don't think that they are harmless during the day. During daytime, they burrow underground to sleep. However, as they are sensitive to vibrations, they will unearth themselves if a prey is near and ambush it in hopes of catching an early meal.

| Chiitanis
Size: 3 ft Threat: Low
Chiitanis are large, bright will o wisps with very vibrant colors. They are said to be the newborn form of a creature of Heaven, before it mature into an Angel or other Celestial. Chiitanis are fairly harmless, but they can use debilitating spells to discourage dangers from attacking them. They mostly appear seeking energy from positive emotion, which is important to their growth and will dictate what kind of Celestial it will grow into.

| Hoetre
Size: 20 ft Threat: Low Location: Topazial Sea
The Hoetre is a creature resembling a giant oyster. They have a very rugged shell, which lets them blend with the submarine rocks easily. The Hoetre is a dangerous predator to fishes and small mermaids alike. They usually keep their shell open, which displays a bright and shiny pearl as bait. When taken, the Hoetre snaps shut and begins digesting its prey, not unlike a venus fly trap. Try to force the shell open from the inside is all but a lost cause, as it is like trying to push down against a giant's grip. The Hoetre is very hardy and can go for months without eating. In fact, it usually uses that time to grow another pearl in the event its previous one was stolen. Giant mermaids poses a serious threat to Hoetres, and very often eat the inside, just like humans do with mussels. While dangerous to humans, it's very uncommon for one to be eaten, as Hoetres tend to be found very deep underwater.

| in Soviet Felarya, oysters eats you mhh the giant oyster idea is a classic, yet if I'm not mistaken, it has never been brought up yet And it could make a great addition to the Felaryan seafloor indeed. Great job ^^ | |

| Great Brakzuul
Size: 40 ft long Threat: High Location: Jewel River
The Great Brakzuul is a large, predatorial fish found mostly around the Jewel River. Their most noticeable features are their elongated body, in particular, their mouth, which is lined with serrated, razor sharp teeth. Great Brakzuuls are aggressive and mostly solitary. They have a ravenous appetite and they primarily hunt larger preys. However, since they are not picky eaters, they will go for anything in the vicinity, even a humanoid or a small mermaid. Next to giant mermaids, and the rare Crystal Dragons and Lacolith, they are the greatest danger one can encounter in the river. On a side note, Brakzuul meat is incredibly delicious, and when prepared properly, can become a four star meal.

| Fog Men
Size: 6 ft tall Threat: Medium Location: Misty Glade
A very strange creature primarily found in the Misty Glade. Fog Men appear as shadowy humanoid apparitions living in the thick, magical mist. They are almost entirely featureless, save for a pair of glowing yellow eyes, which can cut through the mist like a hot knife through butter. The nature of Fog Men is something that has eluded scholars for centuries. No one knows if they are the result of Wild Magic interacting with the mist, if they are Elementals, or something else entirely. What is known is that Fog Men can only live within dense mist or fog, and will vanish into thin air if fog-piercing light is shone on them.
Fog Men are dangerous creatures to encounter. While they have bad motor skills and shambles to get where they want, they are deceptively strong and can easily outmatch a heavily trained soldier in close quarters. As they live in dense fog, they are excellent at sneaking on unsuspecting adventurers. They are carnivorous and will eat any meat they find, including living flesh. While a lone Fog Man isn't a very big threat, they are most often encountered in hordes. Predators in the Misty Glade tend to get uneasy when they suddenly see a multitude of yellow through the mist. Lastly, rumors say that if a thick fog roll over an area, one is certain to find Fog Men there.

| I think the fog men are well described. You make them looks pretty creepy, but in a good sense ^^ For the Chiitanis and Great Brakzuul, well I think the idea lacks a little. It's a bit generic as it is.. | |

| Asdenios
Size: 4 ft tall Threat: Low
Asdenios are majestic birds from Heaven. Their feathers are pure white and they radiate a golden light, which earned them the nickname of "Sun Bird". They are extremely common in Heaven and seeing them in a physical plane is usually seen as a sign of good luck. While peaceful, they do possess a rudimentary grasp of light magic. In fact, they usually emit a blinding flash of light to dazzle predators and would-be poachers to cover their escape. Some are trained to learn more destructive light magic as a mean of self-defense and were often deployed as aerial scouts by Angels during the Tenebris War. Asdenios aren't very strong, but they are very social creatures and travel in large flocks to compensate their weakness with large numbers. In fact, some Angels are downright fascinated how they can act so similarly to humans at times.

| Suteryl
Suteryl is a semi-rare type fabric unique to Felarya. In its raw form, it is indistinguishable from plain cotton. However, thanks to Felarya's magic-rich soil and water, it is stronger and more durable than regular cotton. Not only that, but it's also slightly magical, and as such, enchantments cast on it tend to be more potent. This actually a double-edged sword, as while it can empower the wearer even further than usual, if the garment is cursed, its holder will feel its effects two fold. The suteryl plant is quite uncommon. For one thing, it only grows in soft soil, and it must be near a good source of water. If there's one thing gardeners can agree is that this plant drinks through water incredibly fast. As one can expect, it is highly sought after by mages who wish to reach the zenith of their potential and fetches a high price on the market. It's also very comfy.

| I probably posted that idea before, but I will get bears in Felarya.
Karut
Size: 140 ft tall on hind legs Threat: High Location: Tolmeshal forest
Karuts are giant bear-like creatures. They have yellow, reptilian slit eyes and metal gray fur. The fur is very tough and stick together to create spike shapes. Karuts also have disproportionate front legs with very long claws. Because of this, they look like they knuckle walk like gorillas. They are solitary animals and very territorial. While humans are not typically part of their diet, they will attack them if they get too close. Karuts are omnivorous, feeding on both meat and fruits.
(Not very inspired.) | |
