| In the Gray Haven, a small pubb on Negav's Lower Teir a man in large blue over-cloak came walking purposefulley through the doors and slapped a huge flier on the on the board and turned and casting his green-grey eyes on the crowd assembled there and said: "My name is Richard Grande. I am a visiting dignitary from a far away world and my sister has just been abducted by a villainous creature named the Contessa. She is a Vampire living in the Evernight Forest and I intend to raid her castle and save Elaila, but I need a army or at the very least men or women willing to fight and take orders and, if it comes to it, die for my cause. I would not ask you to do this out of strictly compassion I am a noble and as one of noble birth can offer you a handsome reward. If money will not suit I'll give any who complete this quest a reward of their choosing within my power. Now what say you hmm?" *Said Richard tossing his light blonde hair back and looking over the patrons*
(This is a RP idea for a long quest type RP with defined goals. It's open to all, but since this is in Negav right now you can only make human sized OCs or something that'd be in Negav. You can dd predators later if you like but I'd prefer if you do they have size limit of 70-80 ft so I can know what dimensions to set my challenges and traps to. You can use up to two charecters. I need a minium of five to really have a good party. Don't worry this one won't end up like my last one. ^_- )

| - Gildor:
Name: Gildor Tasartir, likes to be called Gil
Race: Sylvan Elf
Age:135
Gender: Male
Looks: 5 and a half feet tall, blue eyes, and blonde hair. He wears a set of mithral breastplate, and an elven cloak that is forest green and blends in well in a forest enviroment. On his back he carries a magic longbow over one shoulder, and a great sword he calls Tathar. At his side is a quiver filled with arrows, some poisoned some not, a silver, enchanted morningstar, and a longsword.
Personality: A kind hearted, expert adventurer who travels through the multiverse looking to help others in any way he can. He's rich due to the fact that he killed a dragon and managed to keep most of the rather large treasure that belonged to it. As such, he does not care about money, and often gives it away without a second thought if he thinks someone needs it. The only objects he truely cares about, and will never give away, is his bow, the great sword, and the morningstar. All three weapons are special to him, and all three weapons are heavily enchanted. He dislikes undead, and will jump at the chance to hunt them down, though he's willing to let intelligent undead go if they convince him they are no threat.
Skills:
Gildor is skilled at tracking, archery, sneaking, and surviving in the wild. He's not the best at close combat, but he does well enough. His prefered melee weapon is the silver morningstar he keeps on his belt. However, he'd rather snipe his foes from far away then fight them face to face. The great sword is reserved only for when he battles dragons.
Weapons:
Tathar: A great sword created to fight dragons. It can cleave through most dragons with ease, provided it is being used by a skilled warrior.
Amarndil: A silver morningstar enchanted to fight undead. The silver alone is dangerous to vampires and liches. However, the silver and enchantments working together make this a weapon to be feared by undead.
Idril: An enchanted composit longbow. When an arrows fired from the bow hits it's target, the target recives a painful and numbing jolt.. Sometimes, the arrows will actually explode in a blast of electricity and ice.

| Somehow Persephone left Ella's Adventure Troop and ended up back in Negav. I'll work out the rest later. :joins RP:
Persephone's ears, were they mobile like a neko's, would undoubtedly have visibly pricked up when she heard something about a reward. To make things clear, she wasn't after treasure in the conventional sense - while she had been nothing short of a cold-blooded capitalist back home, the current chapter of her life gave her a different set of priorities. Right now she was after freedom; months spent in the wilderness here had made it clear that Felarya was a veritable prison. You could stay in Negav, enjoying the city but never having the freedom to go explore the universe at your whim, or run the very high risk of dying out in the jungle, all the while lonely and scared. It was depressing really. Sure, she'd made a few friends on the way, so it wasn't all bad, and she had managed not to get eaten in all this time. Nevertheless, she longed for home more than anything else. "Can you get me to the gate in Ur-Sagol?" she asked the pompous man, getting straight to the point. "If so, then I'm in."

| (My god, your grammar is atrocious, Jedi. >_< Even so, I think I'd like to join in, too. ^.^ Taihaku seems like the obvious choice to me.) - Taihaku's Bio:
Name: Taihaku Race: Snow leopard neko Gender: Female Age: 19 Height: 5'5" Skin: Pale white Hair: Blond, long when not hidden Fur: White dotted with black circles Eyes: Blue, appear grey in the snow Predation: Unwilling Food Category: 0-3 inches. Prefers: N/A
Taihaku is a snow leopard neko from Imoreith Tundra. She wears a hooded blue coat lined with thick white fur, with brown pockets sewn into the hood for her ears, matching blue slacks, and white fur boots that come up to her forelegs. The coat conceals many pockets on the inside, as well as two outside, which are useful for carrying a wide variety of tools, survival equipment, etc. Underneath her coat she wears a white tanktop. The coat, though useful, both slows her down and is quite flammable. She took the coat with her as a memento of her people, and seldom removes it, but because it is much less cold in most areas of Felarya, she uses her magic to keep the air around her chilled, so as to not overheat. She has fur in all the places her people typically have it; covering her hands, forearms, and forelegs. When not covered by her hood, her hair is blond and her eyes are an icey blue. When her coat is off, her hair is revealed to be quite long, and she also has a very nice figure, not to mention ample breast size, as her tanktop fits rather tight around her torso. She wears two gold rings on her tail.
Taihaku can be described as being cold in almost every way. She speaks very stiocally, using full words, avoiding saying things that would have an apostrophe in them, and sometimes using rather large words. While the things she says are not usually put-downs, they're not often praise either. She tends to speak only when spoken to, and even then it may be no more than a single word. Even as cold as her personality is, she, like many others of her tribe, is very courageous, and will not back down from a challenge. Due to having lived most of her life in the tundra, apart from the rest of Felarya, she is extremely curious about the world around her, and will sometimes ask questions that may make other feel uncomfortable. Her inexperience also makes her very easy to lie to and manipulate. She tends to be too judgemental of others, and sometimes performs actions in ways that assert herself as the better person over others, which causes her to alienate a lot of people.
Taihaku grew up training to be a fine warrior from a very young age, and it was obvious from the beginning that she had a talent for many things, including language, weaponry, battle ettiquite, and even ice magic. Being the daughter of the chief of snow leopards, not many of the other nekos saw this as a surprise. As she grew, she mastered many different forms of weaponry, and honed her abilities with ice magic to a fine art. When she was 18 years old, she took a test that would prove her worth as a warrior and allow her to venture away from the tribe and out into the rest of the world on her own, and passed. Nowadays she wanders Felarya going wherever her adventurous spirit will take her, lending her services as a temporary mercenary.
From chilling the air around her to creating weapons made out of ice, making a layer of ice on her body to shield herself, and making paths of ice to skate across, her magic ability may very well be the coldest thing about Taihaku. She is also a master of multiple weapon styles including the spear and the sword, both single and dual-wield. Among her most useful and commonly-used magic spells are Gunner Shard, which summons and fires sharp ice crystals one at a time at a target, which can either pierce, cut, or partially freeze a target, and Freeze Blast, a projectile attack which, if it connects, will freeze her target in a block of ice. The two gold rings on her tail augment her magic ability; one allows her to use magic without the aid of a staff, and the other absorbs and stores extra magic energy for her to use later. Obviously, her main weakness is fire, which can counter her ice abilities very effectively. Another is her slow foot speed, though don't be fooled by this, as her combat movements can be quite swift. She does become faster if she removes her coat, but doing so denies her access to the supplies and/or artifacts she carries in it.
From the back of the room, a short neko (compared to other nekos around) garbed in a thick, navy blue winter coat with a hood and white fur lining stepped through the crowd, the chilling air around her body making people move from her path. "I have not yet seen this "Evernight Forest," she said in a stiff, almost monotone voice. "If you would permit me, I would very much like to assist your cause. It would give me both experience and, as you mentioned, a monetary reward for my efforts."

| Gildor took another sip of the drink he had ordered and grimaced. It burned while going down, and certainly wasn't worth the money he had payed to get it. Still, the elf didn't mind. He had money to spare, and if he had actually been thirsty, then he'd have been drinking from his own flask. No, the only reason he was here was to find something to do. It didn't matter what it was, as long as he was able to put his skills to the test. Taverns like this always brought people like himself, and it also brought stories of places he could visit. Suddenly a loud man burst into the pub, no doubt a Human. While Gildor res[ected and liked Humans, they were always so very loud. The man began speaking, and Gildor's ears perked up when he heared the words "my sister has just been abducted", " save Elaila", and most interesting of all, "Vampire". It had been ages since Gildor had last fought a vampire, or really any major undead. Sure, he fought the occasional zombie outbreak now and then, maybe a few ghouls if he was lucky, but a vampire? He hadn't faced a vampire in over three years.
Gildor waited a few moments to see who would join. a pair of Nekos stood up from the crowd. After the two finished speaking he stood up from his seat in the back corner. "I'll join. You need an undead taken care of, I'm your Elf." He bowed slightly. "The name is Gildor, profesional adventurer, expert Ranger and undead hunter, and dragon slayer. I have no need for gold or any kind of money. Just tell me what you want me to do."

| - Spoiler:
Zee
Species: Human
Age: 21 years old
Sex: Male
Height: 6'6ft
Skin Colour: Fair
Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: White
Other: -
A muscled young man who wears a sleeveless dark-grey hoodie over a dirty purple t-shirt, ripped black jeans and sneakers. His wild black hair hangs over his completely white eyes that sometimes changes colour. The lower half of face is covered with a dark stubble. Over his wrists and hands he wears weathered fingerless gloves.
Zee calls himself a 'SoulStarer' because of his limited ability to see any living creatures life force. He can also see emotions emitted by any person and this is sometimes reflected out of his eyes, changing their colour for a couple of seconds. Both of these abilities are very limited in a specific area of a few feet. Zee uses a ghost magic, able to break his matter from solid to gas, but only for a second or two, so his timing has to be (and usually is) impeccable. This ability also uses up a lot of stamina, and using rapid succession can leave him gasping for breath. He is also good at fighting with his fists. Sometimes his shadow will move on its own accord, as if it were not part of him.
Zee is always carefree, confident about himself and apparently fearless (or stupid). He takes everything in his stride, with light-heartedness and handles pressure easily. Though, there is no denying that sometimes he can be ruthless and cruel in his own way. He likes to flirt with any girl, play it smooth, even if he knows that he'll never win them over and is the opposite of smooth. No insult ever dents him and he likes everyone, unless someone actually manages to piss him off. He secretly is scared of the water, as he cannot swim.
Gan was born on a planet that served as a political prison, the offenders left to squabble amongst themselves for few resources. He barely knew his father and left his mother at the age of eleven. He served a gang for a couple of years, before leading his own smaller gang. He found many with special talents, had a life that could not get any better, before being transported to Felarya, something that was normal on this planet though not known by those living on it. He was lucky enough to be transported near to Negav, though it was months before he found the place. He earned a living by stealing money and has spent much of his time exploring Negav, sometimes travelling into the surrounding forest, and further, if he gets bored
Zee sat at a table in the middle of the room, leaning back with his feet on the table. He watched the colour of emotions spark around, until one man gained his interest. His had much focus coming from him and others seemed to catch it as he spoke. He listened with interest himself and as this focused man's speech progressed, his small smile got wider and wider. He stood up slowly and removed the hood from over his head so that his face and ominous eyes were visible. "Count me in dude. This castle sounds like a nice place," he grinned, having no idea of what a 'castle' was, "you can call me Zee". He jabbed a finger into his heart.

Hmm only three of you so far. Eh I may settle for three, but I'd like four- Oh! Well now we can defiantly proceed with Qwuillin! Thank you dude! Also awesome to see a person whom I don’t know. I love meeting new people especialy through RP. )
*Richard Grande surveyed the rabble he'd managed to attract. They all looked pretty motley, but all in all not bad. Even a neko and a elf! Though a cat and treerunner a army does not make. He began to walk to the middle of room where he could turn to each without much trouble. he first cast his gaze upon the elf* "You seem a world-worn fellow and I welcome your expertise, master elf. Welcome to the party." *He then turned to Persephone and said: "My dear tragically named friend, I am a world traveler myself. My ship can part the clouds and go to any world in our Database, which is quite extensive. Much safer than Ur-Sagol. If you live I promise to let you have a look at the map and whatever world you choose personally." *Said the human with and smile that was somewhat warm. Ironically he turned to the last, and most frosty of his future party next.* "My dear I find you demeanor...chilling. Ha ha ha. Never the less I have heard of your kind of neko and your frost magic may be usefull. Name your price." *He then turned to the young man whom had called him the title “dude” which was odd but had a nice ring too it. Simular to “duke” even though that wasn’t his station.* “You are most defiantly in, my young friend. Though the castle of the Contessa is a dangerous place. Full of life threatening peril what rivals, if not dwarfs, anything you’ve experienced in your life. Ofcourse we’ll have to trek through many dangerous areas JUST to get to it so I do hope you are well prepared.”

| "Very well then, when do we set off?" Persephone asked, switching into an optimistic and sociable mood. As for the peril part... well she could excuse the guy for assuming. But if only he knew the peril she'd been in, she thought, he'd likely retract such a statement. | |

| Taihaku nodded to the man and proceeded to take a position behind him. She didn't know yet what to make of him; he ostensibly knew she was a snow leopard neko, which intrigued her, as there did not seem to be many who did in Felarya. He mentioned he had a ship which could travel worlds; perhaps he had visited her peoples' original homeworld at some point in time? She didn't like that he made the assumption that she used frost magic, however she also contemplated the fact that he might have known by sensing the active magic around her, keeping the air cold. While thinking these thoughts, she had also calculated a decidable number for her payment.
"Six hundred skevols," Taihaku finally said, very quietly.

| Gildor finished his drink with a single gulp, grimaced, and joined the trio. "Well now, let's see what the furture holds for us in this adventure." He started to head for the door when he paused and turned back to Richard. "Oh yes, you're the leader of this expidition. I think it would be apropriate for you to take the first steps of this journey." | |

| *Richard turned to Persephone and smiled a wide and a little too perfect of a smile* "Why whenever the rest of the party is ready to leave ofcourse. Oh dear. It now occurs to me I haven't shown you all the route we'll be taking. Perhaps I should, no?" *Take out a large rolled up map made of old worn looking paper. Part of one corner is torn off and a little bit of red something stains the middle making smiley face* "This map leads to the Contessa's Castle. In order to go there we will need to first go through these areas. Nekomura, which will cut some time off encounters with predators and fauna then into the forest. Once in we'll make our way to a small river trader's outpost rumored to be here just on the banks of the Shard River, at least I think that's what it's called, then we'll barter passage to the other side of the river where we'll make our way to Safe Harbor and rest for a day. After we've stocked back we'll trudge through the jungle, past the Giant Tree and on to Bulvon Wood and to Chidorni River. We'll have to swim or build a makeshift raft Imagine but it's beside the point. Once we've navigated the river's many passages we'll finally have arrived at Evernight Forest. There we'll race up the steps of the caster, disarm the defenses and rescue my sister!!" *Richard grasped at the air invisibly in a sign of victory that had yet to be won. Then addressed Taihaku* "Six hundred skevols? Outrageous! Make double. I insist. Anything less would be an insult. As for you, master elf, you are quite right. *Picks up his weapon, a techy-looking over sized cross bow, and slings it on his back* "If you've all made you preperations then let's be off." *Said Richard striding out the front doors and into the street*
(I wanted to show you guys the map, but my DA won't let me upload it and I can't get the site to host it So oh well. Also just now realized I didn't update my post to include reactions for Nergal and Nyha's OCs. ^^; That should work better.)

| Gildor looks at the map, mentally ploting the course Richard spoke of, then nodded. "That does seem the fastest and safest route. But I wouldn't talk about being successful until after we have your sister and are out of the wilderness. As dangerous as the predators here are, I find vampires to be even more so..." He followed Richard out the door, making sure to hold it open for the two nekos, and a few other patrons. "Tell me, what do you plan to do when we meet this vampire?" | |

| (Reading your writing is starting to get painful, Strider. DX I'm sorry, that's a mean thing to say, but it's how I feel. You don't need the asterisks for paragraph-form RPing as you do in script form.)
When Richard told her to 'double it', Taihaku nodded again. She wasn't about to argue herself out of a larger payment, and from the sounds of the journey that the man described, it would be well worth it. She did feel a bit of pride as well; her talents would be undoubtedly useful for crossing waterways, even large ones like the Shard River if it came to that. Taihaku watched as Richard left the tavern. She waited for the others to leave ahead of her, and as she waited, she rolled up the map he had left behind and followed after him. She would follow at the back once everyone else had gone out.

"Sounds like quite the tour," Persephone mused as she listened to the verbal itinerary. It also seemed somewhat lacking in planning, especially in the last bit where Richard expected them to somehow just run past the dangers of Evernight Forest all the way to the castle. Ever since coming to Felarya and losing her ship, she had been as cautious as she could manage, knowing that, unlike back home, if she should die here, there was no way for her to be reincarnated via her clone - there was no way to communicate with any of the clone vats without her ship. Nevertheless, sometimes risks had to be taken, and this was as good a chance as any to make her way back. "Very well then, if there are no other suggestions I propose we adjourn to collect any necessary personal belongings and then meet up here in a couple hours for a farewell meal and to do any last-minute supply shopping."

Richard Glanced at Gildor quizzically and asked. "What do you mean "what am I going to do"? I will take off the Contessa's head of course! I shall take my might bow, Wraithbane, and put a bolt of energy into her heart. Then I shall raise a toast to victory for us all...Well the ones that survive that is. He said with a light smirk. "What what you do, master elf?" He then acknowledged Persephone's comments on their mission and her suggestion. "Yes that will be fine. Take what you need and nothing more. We'll not be stopping but three times on this trek. Fore camping in Felarya is very hazardous I have heard." Said Richard starting off towards the north exit with a stride. "Any of you who does not have preparations is welcome to join me at the gate to wait for the others."

| Gildor smiled coldly. "Cutting off her head will work...though you'll want to burn the body and head together. Personally I'd stab a stake in her heart, then drag her body out to the sun light and lower it into a rushing river. After detroying whatever home she lives in and making sure we destroyed the coffin as well. It takes longer, but it's the only way to make sure she won't come back." He patted the morningstar at his side. "And if things get difficult, I always have this. It won't kill her, but it'll certainly hurt her." He fingered the weapon for a moment, a look of adoration on his face. "Pure silver, blessed, and enchanted to give whatever it hits a small blast of positive energy...it can even hit a ghost or other incorpreal undead. The ultimate undead slaying weapon." He headed off to the market to buy some last minute supplies. | |

| Taihaku simply followed behind Richard quietly. Any supplies she needed, she was already carrying inside her long, heavy winter coat, and she couldn't think of an-- actually, something had just occurred to her. She looked around the streets and laid her eyes upon a small equipment store to her left. She turned and headed into it. | |

| Richard raised an eyebrow at Gildor's comment. "You seem to know what you're doing, master elf. I am truly glad to have one with some much experience combating the undead. Though if I may ask WHERE did you get this experience? He then watches Taihaku run into a nearby equipment store. "Hmm wonder what she needed. Her race, the nekoes that is, is usually quite well prepared compared to humans. How strange." | |

Awesome to meet you too Jedi )) Zee didn't really listen to the rest of the conversation in the tavern, instead he checked out the rest of his group, paying more attention to the two women. He took his time moving out. "Just gonna steal me a knife," he said over his shoulder, replacing his hood over his head, "won't be too long." He moved off into the crowds, sometimes locking his eyes on the ladies he slunk past, checking them out in detail with a cocky smile. He was back to Richard in under a minute, twirling two thin, nine-inch blades in his hands and a large slap mark on his right cheek. He nodded at him with a smile.

| With that, Persephone headed off to her apartment to gather supplies. As she rummaged through her belongings she was reminded of how similar this was to the beginning of her last one... she only hoped this time around, they might actually reach their goal. Into her backpack went everything she had managed to hold onto from the last trip, plus a change of clothes, a fresh batch of Salvalophytha leaves, this time in a locked box, a sewing kit, and finally a brand-new curse detection stone she had purchased a few days ago. Then, after a long, hot shower, she set off to meet her companions back at the bar. | |

| A couple of minutes later, Taihaku returned from the shop carrying an old-style oil lantern and a box of matches. She walked back to Richard and held up the items. "This may have been a hasty decision, however, judging from the name "Evernight Forest" I came to the assumption that items such as these would be useful." | |

| (XD Glad to hear it, Qwuillin. Hey thanks for using my artifact that I made, Paramecium! Also I loved your post, Qwui. Very amusing ) Richard watched the elf leave and wondered why he'd need flour. The lighters he could understand, but flour? 'Elves are a strange folk.' Thought Richard watching as the flirtatious young man Zee returned. He couldn't help but smile. To be young and in love. 'Alas I am already betrothed to the Queen of Hegperon 9 to settle that whole interstellar war with her people and mine. Still nobody knows I'm here so I could in theory visit the red flower district of this world. Though I think we'll be ready to go soon. Ah yes. I see the young woman, Persephone. Who in their right mind would name their daughter after that old Earth myth. I mean it's just reckless.' Taihaku came back about the time he had finished that thought. He eyed the equipment she had brougth and listened to her statement. "Well it does seem to make sound logic...Unless there are magics that feed on light or something else of some such non-sense." | |
