Other places to roleplay

While this section of the forum is always open to roleplaying (and the chatbox sees little use beyond that), there may be times when you'll want to play somewhere other than the forum. Those times may include when there's too many people in the box and you don't want to intrude in a conversation, when you need to make use of features unavailable on the forum, when you want not to be disturbed by everyone who comes by wanting to chat, or when you would do something that the forum rules (and the terms of service) forbid.



So you can also roleplay in the following sites.

Chatzy: Chatzy is much like the chatbox, though its color scheme is different and can't be changed. It has a 10-person limit, too. You may register in Chatzy to keep your chatboxes from clearing themselves after use. It should be pointed out that Chatzy does not require Java.

Deviant Chat: Deviant chats are much more restricted than the chatbox, but if you're registered in Deviant Art, you can create your own chatroom for free. Please note that Deviant rooms requre the Java library to be enabled for your browser, and it doesn't keep archives. You can, however, moderate your own rooms.

Etherpad: While intended as a teaching tool, Etherpad will allow multiple users to edit text in real time. There is also a 255 line limit. Install required for full features. Go to the beta to test it live without any install required.

Titanpad: is rather similar to Etherpad, not to say it's basically the same thing. Note: you can create a team site for you and friends.

The IRC. You used to be able to get on it through a forum called felarya.greatnuke.com, but Davis/Sokai has gone AWOL so we had to re-register it. You can get to the IRC via chatzilla, mIRC, and many other IRC clients like Hydra.

To reach the Felarya IRC:
1) Chatzilla on Firefox (its a supported add-on, and safe)
2) After installing, boot it up, and it will connect you.
3) Type in /join #felarya

Addendum
-The IRC does not have a member limit, we have had up to 20 people online and RPing at one point, other channels have more than a hundred sometimes.
-You can make your own channel for free, even register it, and play among yourselves
-I'm not sure how to use Hydra IRC, Xchat, or Mibbit

Mozilla has an Etherpad as well. I find this one a lot simpler-looking than those other two, myself. ^^;

Google Drive is a great place to Role-Play in my opinion, as everything can be posted in a single document.

As a person that do not visit this forum often but still loves Felarya RP, I wanted to ask - where can I find some sort of plot-based RP in here? Not just some random scenes but a place to invest in character development and this sort of things?

Basically in the section you in, in one of the pargraph based RPs threads, though the kicker is right now Grande Adventure and Exilon's Party are the only one's going. But you could start one yourself. Other than that? Find a good DM like me or somebody who likes to make detailed stories and settings. ^^;

I plan on making a more detailed post involving the IRC.

I have some intentions otherwise, and eventually I would love it to make a separate website that will auto-connect you to the IRC chat, so you lazy people can stay lazy .

If anyone has programming/website experience let me know. I will work on my post later.

Anyone on here open to a DA or Skype or Email Rp? I am always on one of them and always enjoy finding fun, new partners. I mostly do vore, of course, but I also like Felarya adventure RP's.
