| would dryads have an amplified predator sense? i figure since they have root systems with so much surface area contacting the soil, along with their intake of minerals they would almost be one with felarya when rooted. l'm thinking this intimate relationship with the ground could allow them to sense exact locations of creatures within a huge radius even without a network of other dryads.
or are dryads not magical enough to have such an ability?
i know it probably wouldn't make much of difference for them in chasing prey lol, as they are primarily sedentary. but maybe as a plot device it could be interesting.
i'm also trying to refine the predator sense parameters for a race that im working on.

| lol thanks! about the sig, it was a first attempt at doing an all drawn flashless animation for me.
and yeh. i figured for those reasons dryads would have almost a radar like predator sense.
Im just wondering if there's another aspect to dryad physiology that i haven't read about yet that might contradict it. | |
