This is a thread where you can share your writing tips among others. As fellow writers, feel free to share advices on how to improve story writing, and if you want, personal guidelines of your own.
One trick I use when writing is to first write a draft of my story in complete telling format to let my ideas loose. Then, once that draft is done, I get some time away from the story to refresh my mind. After that, I come back to my story, and rewrite my sentences so they are more active and descriptive.
