Writing Music...

What do you listen to to get yourself ready to write, or while you're writing? Do you listen to Dubstep, Glitch, Electro, Techno, or something else? Here are some of my favorites, and please feel free to share your own.

I listen to metal. All kinds of metal. Power metal, folk metal, speed metal, death metal, I love it all, and it all inspires me and helps me focus. My favorite bands to write to are Ayreon, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, and Amon Amarth.

I'd give examples, but I think this thread might be a bit too similar to the general music thread we've already got going as it is.
