I've been waiting for a story with the Library in it for a while now. I thought of an idea for dryads in the deep sectors of the library (Library dryads thread in ideas), so I was glad to see that dryads are really back in there and a viable concept. Great ending to a great story piece.

Oh, boy. It's at times like this that I appreciate how we invented doors.

Good going, using a chlaena- if I'm right, with her, there's five now (Alexis by Dante8411, Scylla by moon eyes, Cashera by Jaette_Troll, Prinny's nameless river octopus who may or may not be a masochist, and yours). And in fifteen seconds, they'll be six, because Charylla's joining the ranks.

At first I was a little exasperated that you'd managed to sneak in a masterpiece (term loosely used. I suck at criticism) about the deep blue sea when everyone expected a cavern, and then went and won the contest with it. Not because I don't think you deserve it, but... couldn't you have won with something else? You wound up making a notable piece about the deep blue darn sea, and I was working on something similar... so you created bibliography on the topic too notable to ignore. In a way, I was even more pissed off at you than Sean was.

But it was an enjoyable read after all. Quite lively descriptions and wonderful stuff all around in the first half of the story- I really got to join in Dandra's enthusiasm, feel impatient for more of Shallon's account. I was delighted- up until the gratuituous part where I got to join in her gayness. :haha: Hey, Fren, you're looking pretty good- healthy, I mean. Have you been doing exercise?

And the second part, for those who say second parts aren't ever good... well, it was great. Though you know I'm the kind to cheer on underdogs (and wave pom-poms, spell out letters with my body, look up tricks of the trade, write up new ones...), this time around I'm glad Shallon survived, despite this felt like a frivolous death if any was. Let's hope she doesn't end up like Elaya. / Still, the true protagonist was the depths, just like... everyone said.

And I'd like to dedicate the following song to Aemy. This must have summed up her thoughts on the matter pretty well...

Thanks. And indeed, that song might have been going through her head if she'd known it... Sometimes being quick-thinking, brave and adaptable prey just isn't enough. Ah, well... Her death wasn't really pointless. Dandra enjoyed her, at least... and the story that came with her!

Heartwarming two last stories... oh, my, I missed the 61st. Well, I'll read it later. Your cooperation with Globfish has yielded a good harvest; I'll have to see if I can read his stories faster than he writes them. The time with Hiral's kids and that harpy chick was really cute. Also, I'm glad Milly's taking so well to the inevitable conclussion of their pact; how long did she think it was going to last? I've been following her perspective, it's obvious she's learned nothing. She's still as innocently adamant as always- only now she's had occassions to merely try and be cruel too, as Calina can attest to.

Yemic could learn one or two things about good timing: it wasn't the time to hairsplit things on the nature of size, nor to preach on anyone's diet. He could learn about human eating habits, at that! Doesn't he know what "macropredator" means?

Poor Roshan, though, getting baited like that. "I can survive in the... NOM!" If he weren't so old-fashioned, I'd recommend him to get in a long-distance relationship already... hmm, maybe not. The running joke runs quite smoothly either way, but still, poor guy. It's strange that he even bothers anymore.

Thank you. At this stage, Milly is just tired of complications, and wants things to just be simple. Much as she cares about Isham, having him out of the way for a while is helpful in that regard.

Not sure Yemic would be too interested in learning from humans. Come to think of it, he's rather glad Isham's out of the way, too. Albeit for different reasons. :p

Eh, Roshan doesn't try very often... but when he does, it ends rather badly. He doesn't have that many opportunities to meet people. And when he does see a woman his own size, she's often in Jissy's stomach a few moments later. Which tends to slightly inhibit any potential relationship.
