| Brainstormed Ideas so far : The main theme of this zone is the time : it s a zone outside of the normal time. When you enter it you are in a much younger Felarya, centuries ago. However as soon as you exit it, you re-enter the normal Felarya. This means for someone who is in normal Felarya, no time would elapse between the moment another person enter it, cross it and exit it. For this person however, the trip would seem to take weeks or months. The main particularity is traveller use tilts to travel, as touching the sand of this desert result on some special ( and potentialy dangerous ) effects ( no ideas which yet but it would be time related ) . Some animals/predators would have tilts as well unless they can master/use this special effect. Well that's what I have for now Don't hesitate if you have ideas ^_^ | |

Well that's what I have for now Don't hesitate if you have ideas ^_^ It remember the island in the game Prince of Persia the warrior within or in another games based on the Legacy of Kain saga. Where there is portal when you can travel or see events happen in the past the future. Sometime you must travel in the time to acces some place you can not in your time. There can have a sort of spring or artefact which can make you younger or older, like in the Legend of Zelda the Ocarina of Time.

| Well I was thinking something like this Since there is time involved maybe there is an oais much like the fountain of youth or maybe just the opposite fountain of aging. Maybe there is a creature within this oais that feeds off of TIME it's self or the time of creatures foolish enough to drink the water and suffer the effects of either aging down or up, the creature then in turn feeds off of the time taken from them ((lol remindsme of deathnote for some reason)) And as for the strange sand maybe taking some out of the desert causes a curse of some sort? I'm thinking maybe there is an hour glass made of the same sand that a powerful mage was able to create, there is an oblvious right and wrong side to it, ithas the ablility to stop time if turned on it's side and turning it upside down causes you to go back in time though this is not recomended for it has other strange sideeffects. | |

| Great Desert exclusive monster
Deathsand Type: Unknown, Earth elemental possibly Rank: High (good lawd run!) Size: 20-73ft (size flucuates depending on the creature)
Database: A quicksand-type monster in the shape of a young woman, sits beneath the sands, awaiting for her prey to step on her, then she goes to work by pulling them into her body. (Much like true quicksand). Deathsands are quite intelligent and clever so when they hunt, they always rely on their camoflauge by sinking into the sand and spreading themselves out, those who are unsuspecting will fall into the trap 80% of the time, and 90.1% of the time, the victim will not return. It is also not above them to 'chase' their prey either. Deathsands do not require water to live, but they do however absorb it and grow larger by doing so.
Deathsands are solitary hunters but are usually found in 'patches' across the desert, if your traveling through the Great Desert keep a sharp eye out for tanned 'blotches' on the sand, for this is a tell-tale sign that a Deathsand is sitting there.

| One of the effects of the sand could be getting lost and be warped to a random location in the desert, maybe inside the stomach of a desert predator. | |

| I thought of a new creature for Akaptor Desert.
Akaptor Scorpion Size: 10' to 15' Threat: Moderate to High
These scorpions might look like generic scorpions, with the exception of their size and they possess stingers instead of pincers. Each of his three stingers possess a different type of poison. Their main one at their tail possess a very powerful venom which can kill a giant Naga in a few hours after being poisoned. It is useless against Dryads though. Their right frontal pincer possess a stunning poison which prevents muscles from moving when ordered temporarely. The mostly use them to stop their preys to escape. Their left stinger possess a petrifying poison which turns the victim to stone. The effect is temporary, they mostly use them to conserve their food. Each of their stingers can be launched up to 50 feet. They are voracious and feed mostly on humans or anything they might swallow whole. The also feed on larger creatures when in bands, their stomach have a large capacity despite their size. They are all blind, and locate their preys through vibrations in the ground. One of their common tactic is to burrow in the sand and launch one of their stingers at the unsuspecting victim. Dryads are their bane, as they are immune to their poisons and they since they are rooted most of the time, they can't locate them. Dryads usually swallow the scorpions whole and their poisons combined highly helps their digestion. They also need the heat of the desert to survive, and burrows underground when the temperature drops.

| Pool of Glass
Size: 3' to 15' radii surface, 2" to 3' depth. Threat: Moderate - Medium
Glass Pools are a byproduct of massive amounts of Pyromatic Magical Energies unleashed in the Felaryan desert. Due to the fickle felaryan nature, these pools have gained sentience and an urge to lay waste to all in their path. The chances of such occuring are small (.5% chance for each spell that reduces a desert area to glass), though the threat is great.
The Glass pools are extremely hot, enough to quickly burn flesh beyond the 3rd degree point or kill an engulfed being nigh-instantly. Worse, being a liquid, very few physical attacks will harm such. Only rapidly cooling the glass is a sure way to remove the threat, though with the lack of desert water this means that none but the most diversified wizards will have the potential to stop such.
Luckily, Glass Pools are usually easy to spot and avoid. Unless one is walking up a dune surfaced by such a being, or believes it to be a pool of water in a dehydrative delirium, the pool can do no actual damage to a being.
