| Well I just saw 10,000 BC and I kept thinking, 'Wow! This whole story could conceivably be set in Felarya!' First off, I thought the movie was amazing! Great graphics, and a really good plot too! (In a cheesy, 1970s kinda way) Sure the whole thing was horribly innaccurate in terms of history. (Because mammoths really helped build the pyramids. 8,000 years before the pyramids were built. Also they rode horses, and had steel, and Europe was a few weeks walk to Egypt or something) But whatever! I still enjoyed it! And it only adds to the fact that the story would be better in Felarya. Sure there was no soft vore, but at least that was historaly accurate XD. Any way, the parts in particular that made me make the connection was the mammoth chase scene, then the whole jungle scene (Especially while they were being chased by the giant ostrach bird things), and the scenes with the saber tooth tiger. When he goes to save it and says "After I save you, don't eat me." Oh, so funny.
Anyway, has anyone else seen this movie? Can you make the connection too?
Can you think of any other really good movies, or ones that might fit in Felarya, or be Felarya related?

| Aw I really want to see that one, it looks so good. Yeah theres all the 'historical inaccuracies' thing, but its a film made purely for entertainment. Although I did laugh when I read that they have Woolly Mammoths helping build the pyramids lol Other films that might fit into Felarya? Hmmm, maybe some of those old B movies that usually are on tv during Saturday afternoon. Can't remember the names of them, things like the lost world or journey to the center of the earth. | |

| Hmmm. Yeah. All the mammoth scenes were really well done. They moved realistically. Although I don't remember if Journey to the Center of the Earth was a B movie. I know Lost world wasn't. But I know what you're talking about.
But the best thing about that movie was that it made me see primitives in a new light. They're B.A.! Awesome dreadlocks, animal skin clothes, sweet spear fighting skills, indomitable courage to fight larger creatures. Ah, it makes me want to come up with a primitive tribe for Felarya in my story!

| I guess it depends which Lost world you've seen. Theres been loads of versions and series over the years. Yeah there not really B movies, just that old style of stop-motion monsters running around a jungle after some explorers.
Those primitives sound a bit like the tribe in that Apocalypto film. I reckon a primitive tribe in Felarya could work well, they might even have a decent chance of surviving if they really know the jungles well and how to blend in and hide.

| I was thinking of Jurassic park, but yeah, I know what you mean. Heh. Stop motion was a bit before my time though. I'm part of that hip newfangled generation with their high budget movies, and computer generated graphics. XD 10,000 bc was actually compared with Apocalyptico. The plot and backround voice was apparantly similar. If anything, primitives probably do better. They tend to be a bit more low key than more advanced people. Predators tend to notice large cities, and hulking machines before they notice huts and camoflauged men with spears. The day after tommarow will be sunny with High: 69° Low: 46° But really, that one works too. | |

| Good Movies: Planet of the Apes, 28 Days Later, Office Space, many others I cannot think of at the moment.
Felarya Related: Stargate?

Felarya Related: Stargate? Yes. Haven't seen it yet but yes. Yes. Most likely yes. That makes sense. i.e. yes. But I just recently saw the Invisible. And it was amazing. Although the ending wasn't too good.

| Yeah Planet of the apes works. Actually that might be an interesting sub-species to put into Felarya, Simians. Kinda like Nekos but monkey based. Actually now I think about it, its not as cute at all.
Stargate: ah yes, the portals. There seems to be lots of kinds of portals in Felarya, some very much like the stone based permanent structures seen in SG, others are trans-dimensional that seem to just open out of no-where, I guess like in that series 'Sliders'. Oo thats another one to add then, Sliders. I can always imagine a small group of special forces or mercs going into Felarya like in SG, although I don't see them surviving past there first visit. Would resemble Arnie's team in Predator I reckon, getting picked off one by one. Actually I think Predator would fit perfect, just switch the oogly mootha for a giant Naga and I think you would have the perfect film.

| Felarya would be a 'Grey' area for Predators.
Hunting Gear would likely be insufficient, Wargear would be overkill in all but the most absurd scenario (Star-hot Flamethrowers, for example).

| Yeah didn't really mean actually having Predators (As in the alien species) actually in Felarya, more about the special forces unit getting sent in, picked off one by one. Also how does Office Space relate to Felarya in any way? That one confused me. | |

| Recently I managed to see Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, there was a lot that happened there that seemed to have relevance to Felarya. The various monster people of the Barbarois could fit right in. If my eyes weren't fooling me I could have sworn I even saw a couple nagas in there. | |
