A Bat in Felarya

Batman made a heavy sigh, shaking his head at Emma's clumsiness. "So much for the element of surprise..." Not wanting Emma to get hurt, Batman glided off of the branch toward Joker.

(I doubt people would mind, Natsume)

T'Lani frowned as Emma landed by the Joker, then shook his head "It's probably better to leave this guy to the one who actually knows something about him..."

After he had his laugh, The Joker then pondered what exactly he could do first on this strange new world as he walked along, whistling a random tune to himself as he did so. 'Well, assuming Bats is here, I'm gonna need to do something CRAZY to get his attention. Maybe gas a few of the locals? That's sound good! A nice pile of corpses with smiles on their faces!' he thought to himself, chuckling as he started to form his plan.

Emma dropped in front of him before he could process another thought, however. He was about to reprimand her for breaking his concentration when he heard something jumping off a branch. A devious grin forming on his face, the Joker quickly pulled two Joker cards out from his sleeves, quickly turning around and throwing them at Batman, one grazing his cheek as it flew past, the other tearing into his costume.

The first card grazed Batman's cheek, however, the second bounced off of his reinfoced abdomen. He swung his legs forward, using his own momentum to tackle Joker to the ground. Bantman went to the ground with Joker, and leaped back a feet to gain soime ground between them. "Emma, run!"

Emma groaned getting now to her feet she looked to batman and then to the joker a confused look upon her face it was clear that she was not going to move and so without saying a word she began then to walk towards the forest a smile on her face.

T'Lani called down to Emma "You may want to pick up the pace a little..."

"What are you doing here, Joker?" Batman demanded, now standing at full height. Batman casually whiped the blood off of his right cheek with his right index and middle fingers, then whiped his fingers on a tree that was next to him. I hope no predators can smell blood.

A soft breeze passed by Natsume's home, it was a warm morning, the sun shined down on her as she slowly woke up unsure of what to do with the rest of her day. She woke up to the sight of a neko, with a yawn she smiled hungrily at the little morsel, the neko, however, had plans of annoying Natsume, Natsume had previously attacked some of the neko's kin and she was planning to get revenge for them. Throughout the night the neko had made traps and distractions all through out her home. The now awake and hungry Natsume reared all the way up, stretching once; while stretching she pulled on a cord pulling the neko up into the air, confused Natsume started swiping at the Neko. Grabbing and missing she kept pulling cords dragging the neko across her home. Now infuriated the neko landed, with a look of scorn Natsume pounded on the ground growling at the neko as it side stepped, Natsume's pounding could be heard all through the area, sounding similar to a living earth quake.

Minutes later the quakeing was replaced by an irritated "RAH!" as she chased after the clever neko, swipping and missing at everyturn, knocking down the occasional tree. As she pursued she kicked over a tree right next to the group, the falling tree loomed over Batman and Joker making a loud creaking sound as it fell. The crafty neko finally got a safe enough distance away and hid ontop of a tall tree, shouting out "Good morning Natsume! Had a fit did we?"

(Great wake up call.. must be embarresing not to be able to catch a neko like that :3... Look out batman and co. XDD)

Batman turned to look up and behind him as the tree fell, his eyes widening. He immediately turned to Joker, and ran at him. "Get down!" He shoved Joker to the left with all his might, quickly got out his grappling gun, and shot it at a nearby tree to his right. Batman was pulled to safety just out of the tree's way as it crashed with a BOOM! Batman, however, was lying on the ground right next to it. He groaned as he struggled to get up, and coughed. Shaking his head to shake off his weariness, he didn't realize just yet that a giant predator was right behind him.

(yup yup, Natsume is a twin-tailed forest naga ^_^ or.. Nagi I guess would be more appropriate... meh )

Emma let out a loud terrified scream as a branch of the tree landed right besides her she gasped panting heavily she turned to look up at natsume her mouth opening with shock she then began to move silently out of the way hoping not to be spotted by the giant naga.

Batman was still a bit weary. "Ugh...At least that wasn't as disorientating as Crane's fear gas." He made the hook of his batgun (gonna call it that from now on) unhook itself from the nearby tree, and the line reeled back into the batgun. Batman put it away.

T'Lani just moved back to watch the tree fall, looking around to see who had knocked it down 'Oh geez, one of them! Clumsy oaf.' He moved over to a nearby tree, to keep out of sight.

Joker was about to answer Batman's question when Batman shoved him out of the way of the collapsing tree, hitting the trunk of another one with an "WAAA-OOF!!" as it came crashing down. He got up with a groan, glaring at Batman as he yelled, "You could've TOLD me you were pushing me out of the way before you did it, you little..." He stopped when he heard the neko taunting the naga, his eyes going wide at seeing the annoyed giantess before him.

However, his amazement didn't last too long, though, as his trademark grin returned as he let out a very amused laugh. "Wow, this place keeps getting CRAZIER with every turn! I'm starting to love this place already!!" he said to himself with a chuckle. He then looked at Natsume, grinning deviously as he asked, "So, what's the matter, toots? Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?"

Batman turned to Joker. "Who the hell are you talking to?" It was then that he noticed the giant naga. Batman then glared at Joker. "You idiot, that's one of the native predators!"

(hey guys skip my turn this time.. my post'll be based on what becomes of the neko >_>... have Emma try to snap her out of it.. or like, have batman save her from her impending doom.. or as Joker mentioned on MSN, try poisoning her ^_^... lemme know when it's my go again :3)

"Oh, puh-lease, Bats! You think I'M worried about some giant grumpy snake woman?! On another note, it took you long enough to notice her. Your predecessor would've detected something was coming this way by now! It almost makes wanna call you 'Batfake' again. But anyway..." The Joker then turned to the neko that had annoyed Natsume. "You've got a nice smile on ya, kitty cat! What do you say we make it..." His smile widened as he pulled out a gun, pointing it at the neko up in the tree. "...bigger?"

He then fired, the bullet hitting the neko's shoulder with deadly accuracy. "You may not know how a bullet from a gun can make your smile wider, but I'm sure you'll realize what exactly I'm talking about right abooooouuuut...now." The venom that had been coated on the bullet began to take effect, causing the neko's respiratory system to elicit a chuckle. "In case you're wondering what's making you chuckle, that's my signature Joker venom. Soon you're gonna start laughing like a lunatic while all of your muscles start to freeze up one by one! Then RIGHT before you heart freezes up PERMANENTLY, you're going a have a nice wide smile frozen on your face!!"

The Joker then reared his head back and let out a hideous laugh as the neko's respiratory system forced it to laugh even harder as it's muscles began to freeze up.

T'Lani landed on the ground and watched the Neko for a few seconds, confused about the point of doing that rather than simply killing the Neko. He turned to The Joker and almost smiled "Not scared? I can understand that, but you will learn not to take them lightly." He then looked at Natsume out of the corner of his eye, keeping an eye on her.

Batman couldn't believe what the Joker had just done. Luckily, it wasn't too late to save the Neko, and Batman had vials of antidotes to Joker's toxin. Batman grappled the branch the Neko was on, zipped up to it, and held the Neko as he took out a vial of antidote from his utilityt belt. He took the cap off, revealing a needle, and he placed it into the Neko's right arm. The antidote slowly entered her body. Batman's heart raced, hoping he wasn't too late.
