Locations of your characters?

Now that we have the fantastic new map, it occurred to me that it might be useful, also, for us all to have some idea where our different characters usually reside - and to have a thread as a quick reference point.

If you have a clear idea where your character spends most of her or his time, simply indicate what part of the map she or he may normally be found in. It'll also enable us all to know which characters may be likely to run into one another.

I'll start with mine.

Milly is permanently established north-west of Ur-Sagol, south-east of 'central' Felarya’s main beach - somewhat closer to the former than to the latter. Tina and Joanna, of course, also live there. Jissy lives close by, with Roshan. Ajab lives a bit further west, but east of Bulvon Wood.

Isham currently lives in Safe Harbour.

Lucilya lives at the Fairy Pond.

Vuni lives in Bulvon Wood with her mate Tiasha and their babies. Specifically, she lives in the south-eastern part of the Wood.

Elaya lives on the banks of the Lake of Illusions. Specifically, she's on the part of the water's edge north-east of the Misty Glade, west of the southernmost of the Ascarlin Mountains.

Selima used to live in the westernmost part of the ruins of Ur-Sagol, and in the forest between there and the dimensional gate. After she died, her ghost appeared in the forest not far north-west of Ur-Sagol's bridge. That area, and her old home, is currently her haunt.

Canni, Shaan and Happy live in Ur-Sagol, in its south part, not far from the river.

Shelny lives in the forest somewhere between the Ur-Sagol dimensional gate and the Giant Tree - much closer to the former than to the latter. Her friend Enita obviously lives close by.

Yshwi lives rooted partway up the slope of Frost Peak. She faces south-west.

well none of my characters are in the wiki, but i guess its fine anyway. I'd provide a link to their bio with their names instead of the url, but i don't know how to do that.

Bael (of course) resides in Negav, along with Kaian and Siri (human male and female)

Mara and Janev live to the north of nekomura, close to the river. Janev originated in the Naga Village, and Mara in Deeper Felarya.

Seevylne lives near Nadiel's (mickilla) shop between the little stretch of land between the ascarlin mountains and the river running along the outside of negav.

Erethriel lives in heaven.

Uæ patrols along the river from the Lake of Illusions to the jewel river.

Monty, Ariol, Nerezza, Tuulikki, and Garrett live in northern Chidokai Forest.

Now, I'm trying to figure out where my fishingnekos go. I've found myself face-palming that I didn't know that the offshoot that winds past Ur-Sagol wasn't in fact, the actual Jewel River. The best I can estimate is that the tribe resides at X marks the spot:



The squiggles in the water would be the stretch of river where a resident river mermaid, Lana, tries to hold territory.

Characters that live there are the nekos Karen, Khal Dehr, Beornet and Terumi.

There's a little place that my fairy Mantis grew up in, the Garden.. I think I'm just going to say it's in that area east of the Giant Tree. The fairy Cynthia and the tiny Hercules live there.

Kyria and Seelvee: Taking in account that Seelvee is a dryad and she's never de-rooted herself, she's in the very same place all the time. She isn't too far from the noth-est end of the Forest of Whispers and a bit close to the Bulvon Wood, but still not in there. Her home is still the Forest of Whispers...
... And so is Kyria's. It's try that the fairy likes to be around Seelvee, but she also likes to move around a lot. Only places she won't go in the Forest of Whispers are the Lataran Temple - after Felaryan Madness you'll know why - and the land surrounding the Tonorion hive. She's planning on going out of the forest, though.

Nanda: Being a traveler like she is, she has no place to actually stay for long. But it's true that she has a cave in the Bulvon Wood where she stops more usually than in other places and you could call it her "new home". Before she became the scout she is now, Nanda lived in the Dridder Forest with the rest of her clan - and she still has to report to her elders once a year. Have to say that her clan's home isn't not too far - though not too close either xD - from Negav's dimensional gate.

And because I can...

Old Grigor, the Russian keeper of the inn-tavern 'Murmur'. Where is he? In 'Murmur', of course. And where is 'Murmur'? It's in the north-east of the Forest of Whispers, though it isn't any close to either the Bulvon Wood or the Chordoni river. In fact, I really need to work on 'Murmur' and write Grigor's profile one day.

And when new characters appear, I'll either edit this post or add a new one to report about it.

Soinee was originally from north West Deeper Felarya, Derek is from another world, eventually they settled near the lake of Illusions and Ascarlin Mountains. Derek used what little technology he was able to scavenge from his arrival in Felarya to construct an underground home for the two of them.

She'll not have been far from my tiny-eating, fairy-raised human Elaya, then. (Likewise Soinee and Derek, if ever they go to the waterside.) She operates a boat on the Lake of Illusions.

Interesting to see the map 'filled in' with various characters from everyone, anyway.

yeah, well Uæ doesn't eat people. she's a 100 ft river mermaid that was raised with meiramines.

Sense Soinee is disinclined to eat humans for a number of reasons, you know... unless she is really hungry, then yhea Elaya has probably seen her on a number of occasions.

I'd do the fancy map drawing thing, but I'm too dumb to figure it out.

Fenja and Grip have no fixed address. Generally though, they tend to stick north of Negav and, due to obvious reasons, east of the Fairy Kingdoms. Their "home" region, if that could be used, would extend from the Forest of Whispers to about Ur-Sagol, north of the Great Tree. They do visit the ocean quite often - they take a route round the north of Frost Mountain.

Ofelia the slug girl lives in a cave in the Bulvon Woods.

Khrixi the fairy lives over the river in Deeper Felarya, right on the border with the Evernight forest and near the river itself.

Dylan has a home right near where the Jewel river goes into the Topazial sea.

Hmm.. Treifa is supposed to live in the crystal forest. (She's trying to find it)
The Chilotaur and Slug girl will be in the Bulvon wood. (How unusual...not)
A dridder will live in a certain desert. (Don't ask)

My neko character, Benjamin, lives in Neko Village but sometimes goes to the Grove of Carnivorous Plants for thrills.

My fairy character Lucy lives in Neko Village as well (in disguise as a human of course so the Villagers don't get scared and burn her like a witch) with Benjamin.

Those are currently all my original Felaryan characters so far and if I make up more I'll tell you guys where they usually live.

Actually I din't know that but Lucy a fairy though she may be is not a predator. Just a reject fairy whom was saced by Benjamin. Also he had to sneak her in so I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility.
