Myrah

Race: Dridder
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be a young adult. Has been around for quite a while
Hairstyle: Worn loose. Long enough to reach her upper back
Hair Color: Jet black
Eye Color: Dark blue
Skin color: Dark blue
Height: 80 some feet
Clothes: A silk cloak when it’s cold or raining, but that’s it.
Danger: Generally Moderate to low if she has no particular cause to dislike you

Personality:
Generally friendly, open, and easy going, particularly to her friends. She is quick to welcome them to her home and whip up a meal for them. Those her size who have just met her might find her a little mistrustful at first, but if they’re polite, it isn’t hard to win her over. She is also very protective and loyal of her friends. If anyone bothers, threatens, or god forbid, harms them, they will have a fight on her hand.

However, Myrah has been known to be particularly stubborn at times. Often, once she gets an idea in her head, she’s going to carry it out. And once she’s made a stand, she is very hard to budge.

Abilities:
Myrah, unusual among dridders, has taken an interest in human style cooking, and has become very good at it. Granted, being her size has made it difficult to find sufficient ingredients for her culinary experiments, but she manages. She has made several deals with human settlements, trading massive bolts of silk for truckloads of various baking goods and food. She has also made herself a well supplied kitchen.

Myrah, being a dridder, can produce a fine silk. She is skilled enough to weave this into webs, nets, cloth, even articles of clothing and cloth thick enough to serve as a stout barrier.

Myrah has a limited knowledge of rune magic, and most of that is learned only for it’s application towards cooking. For example, she uses runes of heat in a stone oven, runes of purity to keep meat from going bad or bread from becoming moldy, and runes of ice to make a cold room, essentially a walk in refrigerator and freezer. She knows a few other runes though, notably the rune of healing, which she always keeps a small supply of just in case.

Myrah, in some time in the past, had received training as a warrior. She knows how to use a sword and shield well, and is used to heavy armor. However, her armor and weapons are mostly left to gather dust in her lair. She only dons them in rare and urgent conditions.

Occupation:
Homemaker, (or rather, Lairmaker) chef.

Special:
Myrah simply adores children of any species. Even human, neko, and elf children, which most other dridders would eat without a second thought. However, Myrah would much rather cuddle them, and spares them, along with any prey sized people that they are friends with. This has even led to her unofficially ‘adopting’ a few of the more downtrodden children she has come across.

Overall, Myrah is a lot less voracious than most other Felaryan predators, given that she can supplement her diet with her cooking. Often, if a person is interesting, entertaining, intelligent, or unique enough, she’ll cut a deal with them, and they can get off simply with a good taste testing.



Shanna

Race: Elf
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be a young adult.
Hairstyle: Pulled back in a ponytail that reaches to her lower back
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Forest green
Skin color: lightly tanned
Height: 6’2”
Clothes: A functional traveling tunic, trousers, belt and boots, dyed brown and green to blend in with the forest.
Danger: Minimal. Provided you don’t try to eat her.

Personality:
Adventurous, rash, competitive, and fiercely independent. Shanna lives for the thrill of life, and this being felarya, she’s gets plenty of it. Just surviving wasn’t enough of a challenge for her, she continues to tempt fate and push her luck in a variety of dangerous (many would call suicidal) ways. She loves going up to the edge and seeing how far she can reach beyond it. She also has a very large stubborn streak in here. If anyone tries to force their will on her, she’ll resist in any way she can, despite what they want her to actually do.

That being said, she does have a softer side. She has a soft spot for neeras, tinys, and other tiny races. She also doesn’t hold with the traditional elf shobbishness and arrogance, and will judge a person by their actions and courage rather than their race. She often prefers the company of humans and nekos rather than other elves.

Abilities:
Shanna is skilled at flying. Specifically, she has made and flown several fixed winged gliders, and has gotten to the point where she can out-maneuver harpies and fairies in the air with them.

Shanna carries a curved sword and a bow and arrows, and can use both to deadly effect. Additionally, many of her arrows carry magical runes which can cause a variety of effects, such as causing sleep or releasing poison in the wound.

Shanna is fairly skilled at runic magic, or the carving of magical symbols to cause either an immediate or a delayed effect. She was taught by a neera magician, upon saving his nephew from a hungry neko. She carries a small set of runes dubbed a ‘neko escape kit’ and has found it works just as good with nagas and such.
